[If there was time to explain things, Tsubomi would certainly tell Terra about where she finds her strength. But, right now, there were houses to be saved. She'll be Terra's strength. Hopefully.]

If these are illusions, then it would make sense to try to figure out the source... but it looks like if we work our way backwards and try to put out any fires that are real, we can find what's causing this!

[Terra’s eyes clamp shut and she begins to shake her head slowly. They can’t. A knot forms in the pit of Terra’s stomach, twisting and turning as if trying to control her broken state.]

No…

[No. It can’t be right. She had caused those fires as she had undoubtedly caused these. She knows, in her heart that it can’t be true. That she shouldn’t blame herself. That she should be safe but her heart couldn’t be heart, like a silent beat of a drum.]

Terra, I can' do his by myself. What if the one who did this is stronger? I...

[She reaches over to take her hand.]

I'm scared too. Very scared, but... I know I can do this if I have others with me. Please... We can do it together. I believe in you.

[She shakes her head slowly feeling the heat of a nearby fire glint off her skin. She can't do it.

Her tremors worsen and its probably best that Tsubomi move on without her.]

[There is one thing she can do.]

[And her Chocobo trots to them as Tsubomi tries to help Terra up.]

C'mon, let's get out of here...

[Terra moves like a doll as Tsubomi helps Terra up. She falls against the side of the large yellow bird as if it’s a picture, her gaze distant and unfocused.

Her fingers press against the bird’s side feeling the slick feathers under her fingertips. It all feels strange.]

Where…?

[Terra nods, unable to do more or protest. She doesn’t know where they are going and she doesn’t really care. As she moves she feels pain in her joints and limbs. Her body, like most fighting, is covered in bruises and scratches.

It’s a war and no one is getting away untouched by it.]
