[He was rather confused as to why she might not have known that before now.]

But I am glad you like my plan. [he leans over to check out what was ging on. When he could see the numbers lower he glanced back.]

Okay, I think it's safe to say we can get mving again.

[Yuffie follows close behind, speaking in a hushed tone.]

Yes, guns CAN kill people but the heroes of light have always been able to heal, remember. [Which Yuffie has firsthand experience with.]

If we can’t heal we might not come back.

[It’s been awhile since Yuffie’s felt mortal though that hardly stops her from doing ridiculous things.]

I know they have Cure and such, but I always assumed if we die, we stay dead or turn to crystal.

[He never actually thought one could come back anyway and yet he is more than willing to go into danger. He just quietly keeps an eye out for anyone, pulling her into alleyways when he saw something.]

[Yuffie grunts when Yugi pulls her and then looks at him like he has three heads.]

After all this I should explain how death usually works here to you.

[Because that's not how it works.

Yuffie peeks out from the alleyway.]

Coast might be clear.

[Yugi went to double check, they had gone past right now, which is a good thing.]

Your right, lets keep moving... though where exactly were you heading anyway?

[He started to move out of the alleyway, taking another look around before looking back.]

[Yuffie shrugs.]

I was trying to lead them around a corner so I could turn and attack. I didn’t really expect you to be there.

[In short, he messed up her plans.]

Considering you got shot that might not have actually worked.

[He isn't going to risk her getting hurt any more if he could help it.]

Besides we can work together now, it's better than being alone.

[Yuffie just grunts. She can’t argue with him but pointing out that she got shot is a bit of a sore note. She wouldn’t have gotten shot if she could have gotten her plan off.

She peeks around the corner seeing two guard walk passed them.]

Right, so I’ll sneak up on them. You give me back up.

[Without letting him argue she slips from their hiding spot, walking silently across the wet pavement.]

[He was about to speak when she went off, so instead he just nodded slightly, knowing to keep a grip on his sword and looking at Buer before keeping to the shadows to see what she had planned. He was going to be back up like she said afterwards.]

[Yuffie is quick and silent as she makes her way over towards the pair. She hasn’t really forgiven them for shooting her and it’s easy to put all misplaced anger on the enemy. A dagger flicks into her palm and she moves closer. She takes a slow breath and then slides the dagger between the third and fourth rib. It would take seconds for the man to bleed and die since her blade pierces right through his heart.

The second soldier spots Yuffie and swings at her to push her away from his partner.]

[Yugi still wasn't fond of violence, but he knew he didn't have much choice in the manner as he started to move closer and closer, looking away for a brief moment when she attacked, but was quick to move in after, swinging his sword to defend his friend from getting attacked again.]

Whoa!

[Yuffie almost falls backwards as Yugi came between her and her attacker. She flicks another blade into her hand throwing it at the guy, if only so Yugi won't have to kill him.

The two soldiers fall to the ground either dead or dying.]

And we are done here.

[He felt a tiny bit of relief that he didn't actually have to kill anyone because so far he managed to get by without having to do such a thing. Unless it's not human of course.]

We are, at least for now. For all we know there are others coming this way, so we should maybe think about moving or something.

[Seem like a smart idea in his books anyway.]

[Yuffie nods.]

Let's go. I need to head to the hospital soon anyway.

[sizedoesntmatter]

[He nodded himself as he started to walk next to her, all the while keeping a look out for anyone and anything that might attack.]

I guess to get your wound tended to, right?

[thegreatninja]

[She looks at her arm and then shrugs. That really is probably a good idea because it's starting to itch.]

Yeah, I guess.

Do you want me to stay with you until you get there?

[Because he was willing to do it then get back to help people.]

[thegreatninja]

[Yuffie shakes her head, completely dismissing his worry.]

Nah, I’ll be fine. You go save the day.

[sizedoesntmatter]

I'm not really doing that you know, I'm just helping.

[He's helping people rather than thinking of it as saving the day.]

But if you want me to go, I guess I won't argue. [He turns on his heels before heading off.]

[Yuffie feels a little bit bad as Yugi turns away but then, this is probably for the best.]
