[ Reply here for any threads occurring in Aqures Ixen as your characters get word of the attack and plan what to do. ]

She felt a chill go through her as her eyes landed on the note in her hand. Esdham where she knew a few of the heroes were stationed was attacked. Fear fluttered through her and she ran through her house grabbing her gear to head towards the air ship ready for the heroes.

Zelda knew that she should stay behind but she couldn't stop and do nothing. She swallowed her fear heading out towards the fray.

Nanami hadn't ever been in a war. She didn't even know what she was supposed to do. She could ask one of the teachers at the school, but they all looked at her like she should know, since she was a Hero.

So, when she spotted Zelda, she walked over to her. "Have you heard the news?"

Zelda turned towards Nanami. "Yes. I was heading to an air ship now." She could do nothing, though she hadn't thought to take her loftwing with her or tell Link of her plan.

"Are you going as well?" She didn't want to see the young hero in danger but they could use everyone if it meant protecting the city and their current way of life from the war that threatened this land. Zelda had wished they wouldn't get involved but she knew the heroes stationed their.

Nanami blinked, as if she hadn't thought about that option. "What really? But I'm just a student."

She paused for a moment realizing that the world that Nanami had come from was much more docile than her own. She gave the girl a confident smile. "Yes. Here we need to fight to protect the things we care about but I won't force you. It is better to do what you want, it will be dangerous."

Zelda wasn't about to make someone jump into danger without knowing what she was getting into but it was better for Nanami to realize the dangers of this new world they have found themselves in. It would be something the young hero would have to live with and each moment after now might change her.

"I've fought before, just..." Just that the duels at Ohtori didn't seem real, more like some stupid game they all were playing.

But they were real, sort of. They used real swords, after all. And Saionji-sempai had been suspended for unauthorized dueling and injuring Nanami's brother when he tried to stop him from going after Tenjou-san with a sword.

Maybe it was more real than she thought.

"If you don't feel confident then don't worry about it. You can always protect those here should we fail. Fighting isn't something that you should rush into lightly." Though Nanami acted as if she had fought before and it made Zelda wonder. If she was seriously considering coming with then she would be happy to support her.

"Also if you don't want to fight I'm sure there will be other tasks. Protecting the people and guided them to safety as well as providing first aid."

"I don't know any first aid," Nanami said. "Look do you want me to come along?"

Zelda gave the girl a gentle smile. "I'm sorry. I can't make that decision for you. All the help we can gather will be useful."

She gave Nanami a nod before glancing towards the air ship. "I should get ready to depart."

"Fine. I'm coming too," Nanami said. "You said you needed my help."

Really, she wants a justification to not be left behind, and Zelda is giving her one.

Zelda's lips stretched into a wide smile. "I'm glad to here it. Gather your things and meet us at the ship in a half hour."

"I'll get my sword," Nanami said. "And armor."
