Who: Everyone!
What: A week late Halloween celebration.
Where: The Observatory
When: Friday, Nov. 6, 7:00 PM
Warnings: The Heroes and a party. What could possibly go wrong?

On November 5, another letter from Johnny would go out to everyone reminding them of the costume party, and invite all the newbies along as well. Costumes are a necessity for entrance, except for the newbies, since they've only been here a little over 24 hours now.

The Observatory is in its usual party set up, but this time with an added stage area for any musicians who would like to perform. It's also the spot set up for the costume contest later on. The whole place is covered in festive Night of the 13 Moogles decorations, and as always, there's plenty of food and drinks.

[[This is just a general mingle log, and a good way for the new Heroes to meet everyone, so post whatever and have fun!]]

[She looks around the room with a smile.]

I might start with something to drink.

[She'd pick at food but she has her cards in one hand and no pockets so she has one hand for eating and drinking.

Yuna hadn't thought her costume choice through.]

Alcoholic, or non?

[He figured he might as well ask as he is being a gentlemen as he started to make his way over to the table.]

Also if you want something to eat, I'll hold the plate so we can share. After all I don't think you have any hands left, right?

Either is fine.

[She isn't so picky but when he mentions food her smile brightens.]

I'd really like that.

[As if in response Yuna's stomach grumbles angrily.]

[He laughed slightly, hearing her stomach as he went off to fetch a plate, put on a few things before grabbing a drink just for her as he soon returned.]

Here you go, food and a lovely cocktail I tried before and it's delicious.

[He held out his hand with the drink for her to take, while the other hand still firmly held the plate for her to take whatever she wanted from it.]

[Yuna takes the cocktail with a smile and then takes a small sip. Her smile widens as the light flavors dance across her tongue.]

That tastes amazing.

[She then picks at the small plate nibbling the items while her eyes look up at Fai.]

Thank you.

It is. Barkeep made it for me before.

[He said surprise him and surprise him he did. Thankfully with his hand now free he managed to take what he figured to be a finger sausage and put it right in his mouth before chewing with his mouth closed. Once he swallowed he smiled.]

You are welcome. It's the least I could do after all.

[He doesn't have to do anything which is why Yuna's so happy. She opens her lips as if to say something more but then promptly closes them. They should just have fun tonight, there is always time to worry.]

It looks like they have people singing.

[It's just an observation and shortly after she takes another sip of her drink.]

[he looked over slightly.]

Why don't you sing?

[He looked over to her taking another piece of finger food and popping it into his mouth before chewing.]

I can.

[Yuna smiles brightly before taking another sip of her drink. She carefully sets it on a surface next to her before turning towards Fai.]

But you have to listen.

Of course I'll listen with a drink and eye candy, so I won't need my food.

[All said with a cat like grin, he was being genuine with what he was saying but he knew it would get a reaction as well.]

[Yuna is turning red again but this time she turns and heads towards the stage before he can have the satisfaction of seeing it. He's really the only one that can do that and the moment that she takes the stage it's gone. She's in front of an audience now and she performs for those listening to her words.

She knows a few songs but she wants something happy for this party so she goes to a song that isn't even technically hers. The song leaves her lips and even without the instruments it's easily to tell that it's an energetic song as Yuna steps across the stage.

What's singing without also dancing?]

[Fai had moved to put down the plate so that he could focus fully on the singing and dance. His eyes focused on her movements and he watched with a small smile on his face. He was enjoying it at least and when it was over he ended up clapping.]

[Yuna's smile widens and she slips from the stage to let someone else follow her. She runs over to Fai beaming up at him to hear his thoughts.]

What did you think?

It was wonderful watching you. It shows that it's something you really enjoy.

[He laughed slightly, he would never do something like that if he had to be honest with himself. That was just not something that he would feel comfortable is. At least he figured that.]

I do.

[She likes making others smile though it's Lenne who taught her the true joys of singing.]

Would you go up?

[He's able to wear a dress in front of everyone she'll be a little surprise if he doesn't want to sing. Yuna's always seen Fai as the guy who'd do anything.]

Ah, no.

[There were limits to what he wanted to do anyway. But for now giving off a slight chuckel in the hopes that she'll not make him.]

This is not my thing, so it would not be a good idea.

[Yuna picks up her drink and takes a long sip before putting the glass back down. She glances towards the stage once and then drops the thought.]

Would you like to do something else?

[There were games and more snacks to be had.]

I don't mind, whatever you want I'll try my best. Although singing is not one of them unless I get drunk.

[Or along he figured. As that thought crossed his head he picked up another piece of food and placed it in his mouth and chews. Once he swallowed he spoke up.]

We can dance if you'd like?

[Yuna doesn't want him to have to get drunk in order to sing though she's sure that will eventually be a side of Fai that she'll discover. Learning about someone takes time.]

Sure.

[She smiles and then lightly takes his hand.]

What sort of dance?

I don't know, I mean it's a slow song so a dance suitable for that. Which is something I can do easily.

[At that he held out his hand for her to take. It would be his first time dancing in a skirt though.]

Maybe I have this dance, Yuna-bella?

[Yuna laughs before taking his hand with a warm smile.]

Of course.

[Her other palm lightly rests on his shoulder as she steps close to Fai. She's always felt comfortable with him and so it's easy to fall in step next to him.]

[He held her hand, moving in closer as the other free hand moved down to her waist. His his hands firmly in position and the song playing in the background, he started to move, making sure that he was leading and not the other way around. It was a simple waltz, but it was still suitable when it came to the music. He just let it take over.]

[Yuna smiles to herself as they step to the music. Fai's easy to follow and she can tell that he's probably done this at least once before. After the first few steps she lightly rested on her head on Fai's shoulder ignoring the part where he's wearing a dress.

They probably look like a very odd pair but she doesn't really care.]

[The music soon slowed to a stop as Fai stopped at that exact time. It had been fun to dance like this at least once, but now it was over and he was starting to wonder just what time it is. Looking at her briefly he didn't even move.]

I hope you enjoyed the dance.

[Yuna nods feeling her heart skip a little in her chest. She doesn't trust herself to speak just yet, however there is a smile across her lips.]

I did.

[She takes a deep breath, not wanting to pull away for their position.]
