[Pyrrha spends most of her time on the deck of the Enterprise as they're making their way to Mysidia, standing near the side and watching the scenery go by as she enjoys the feeling of the wind in her hair. She looks like she's outfitted for war, as per usual, but the look on her face is nothing short of peaceful and serene.]

Ahh... the breeze feels nice.

[Smiling as she runs a hand through her hair, she peers off into the distance, just as the ship begins to crest the mountain range. The city of Mysidia is visible in the distance, and she leans over just a bit to get a closer look.]

Oh! It's a city!

It seems like there's a lot of life in it as well. That's a good sign.

It reminds me of a city in my world called Atlas. It's surrounded on nearly all sides by tall mountains.

Our home city of Canterlot, Twilight's and mine, it's built on the side of a mountain. It reminds me of that, and some architectural similarities to the Crystal Empire.

Lets hope so. We never know, and didn't they say this place was cut off from the rest of the world? Who knows what we're dealing with.

Well, we don't seem to be under attack, so we can at least look forward to a peaceful reception. There's no way they can't see us coming from this distance.

Definitely not. This is far too big of an airship to not be noticed. The reception will be when we arrive on the ground though.

[ Logen lumbers up from a lower deck. He still is a little unfond of ships. He squints at Pyrrha. Now there's someone excited about something. Well, she looks like she means business. He'll approach her after a few moments of pause. ]

Hmh. A city all right. Looks to be bigger and brighter than... oh, never mind.

D'you reckon they'll think we're raiding, coming in with a thing like this, carrying blades like we are?

As long as we don't draw them, no.

[She seems fairly confident in that.]

And I'm sure they can see the ship by now. If they thought we were here to start a fight, they'd surely be sending air support of their own.

[bloodynine]

There's that. Strange to me, I suppose. Where I'm from, we don't have much beyond boats that go in the water, and I've been all across the Circle of the World.

[ He looks over the side for a moment, then back to Pyrrha, his deep-set blue eyes will move up to meet hers.]

I'm Logen Ninefingers. [ He waves his hand as a gesture of greeting to her, almost casually. It happens to show off a missing middle finger, as he does so. ]

I understand. Airships are much more common in my world - they're the safest way to get between the four kingdoms, since the land between is crawling with dangerous monsters.

[Pyrrha looks back, smiling and nodding as she waves back.]

It's a pleasure to meet you, Logen. My name is Pyrrha Nikos.

[She's clearly noticed the missing finger, but refrains from commenting. It wouldn't be polite to ask about something like that.]

That a deed name, or a family name, like the men of the Union have?

[ He nods, and after consideration of how to use more polite speech he says. ]

Pleasure's mine.

Ah... no, it's a family name.

[She seems curious, though.]

A deed name... is that what yours is?

[bloodynine]

Yeah. Got it when I lost my finger during the Battle of Carleon. That was the first city I ever saw. Guess that's why I reckon on a fight every time I see a city. First one was, after all.

[pole_position]

I suppose it doesn't hurt to be ready for a fight, but I hope it doesn't come to that. There's much more at stake here than one kingdom versus another, from everything I've heard about this world's legends.

[bloodynine]

Legends are strange like that. Seen a lot in my time. Thing about legends is that the story always varies depends on who is telling them. They can make a wise man look wrong, and a bad man good.

Hell, there are songs about me, where I'm from. But it depends on where you sit when you hear them.

That said, I do think you're right. Though this world is strange, and I'm no closer to understanding it now than when i showed up here.

[ Probably because he spends most of his time as a drunken hobo. ]

Perhaps we'll learn more from the people living on the Continent of Ruin, then. They've been living separately from the rest of the world for a long time, haven't they? There's sure to be a different perspective on things there.

Perspective is an important thing. [ He looks at Pyrrha. She's about as tall as him. He grins. ]

Maybe we should ask a Shortarse how they perceive the world sometime.
