Undead Mingle

[ This thread is for characters who died during the first part of the event. They can mingle, discuss their plans and have an evil tea party if they so wish. They all woke up in the night between the 30th and 31st of October, in a forest only a couple hours away from Aqures Ixen.

The twelve Moogles are already there, along with the one wearing a Black Mage hat who is currently holding one of the Black Crystal that was stolen from the Magitek Research Facility past month. They all do seem very busy and working on the upcoming ceremony, something around a black cauldron and whatnot. As such, they won't pay any attention to the characters. ]

[Finally, it all made sense.

No wonder it had all felt like a dream before, it has been a intertwining web of fabrication all along. But now, upon awakening in the forest, Sephiroth only now understands how deeply the misunderstanding has been rooted into the simple minds of those that would call themselves the Heroes.

The Calamity that they have all been pitted against is no less than the life form that deserves to take all of Crystallis as her own. And this ceremony, will not only make them all understand but it will deliver to him the power to be able to put it right. It only makes sense that it should be him; he is the most capable out of all of them.

Sephiroth watches from an interested distance as the moogles with their leader go about making the preparations. His arms folded lightly as he leans against one of the trunks. Observing, supervising, gleaming eyes making sure that it all goes exactly as it's supposed to.

Of course the others will perform their parts, as required of them - and bring all those still with their minds mired in fog to this place in order for them to know the truth. How can they not. It is the right way for it all to go from here. With him at the helm, the destiny that was stopped all of those hundreds of years ago will finally be fulfilled. The fact that they will all have to die, that it will all have to be destroyed first is as natural as breathing and it doesn't bother him at all. Necessary sacrifice.]

I guess if they're going to try and make the others see that they're living a lie, what better way to scare them awake then to send a monster?

[With a snap to her overalls, the brunette fighter takes a few steps out from behind the tree where Sephiroth stands. Arms cross over her chest, at all times keeping her eyes away from him, her back the only things he's allowed to see. He doesn't deserve to have her respect, doesn't deserve to be spoken to like a normal human being. She despised the idea of working with such an inferior, hate-filled sociopath. However, the greater good called for some manner of cooperation, so she'd at least play civil if it meant letting the ceremony succeed.

At least she has some solace in knowing that in order for the truth to be revealed, some lives will have to be taken. Maybe she'll be lucky enough to see him choking on his last breath. After all, she's been chosen as the prime subject to lead these moronic sheep towards the ritual's end.]

[What comes around goes around and the disrespect they all might show him now, at his finest hour would only be as short-lived as it took for them to complete the ceremony. They would all be destroyed in the end, in the grand scheme of things to which he was now privy, it didn't matter.

It didn't stop the fact that he was irritated by the fact she stood so brazenly with her back to him when she should be on her knees in front of him. At the very least.]

[It's only after she's made her snide remark that she turns around, showing off the red materia locked into the slot between her knuckles.]

[Oh how he wants to backhand that smug expression from every fiber of her being. Patience is paramount though and he knows it will be the virtue here. After all, he's the only one who knows really what is going to transpire here.

The smallest curl to the end of his nose is the only evidence of his displeasure with her.]

[It's not dissimilar to the way a well-informed parent might encourage a child to make their own mistakes. The power of the Calamity will not discriminate, once he has taken its reigns then maybe he might consider showing it off especially for her.]
