Summary: People have died, now they're back with a need to kill those who didn't die. Well, kill them if they have to at the very least. The OOC Post for detailed explanations can be found here.

The Red Plains Rider

[There was one angry ginger stalking about. She hadn't been feeling the best for a while, and almost turned down that Megalixir out of spite, but she took it anyway. Sparks was missing and she had one hell of a time keeping his Moogle from going completely nuts.

It was a test of her penitence and she was running out of it. Her hair was a bit frazzled in its braid as she stalked around town in her Palidin gear. She still hadn't gotten the guts up to try and summon a Chocobo yet.]

[Zelda has been standing to the side trying to think of what to do. She sees the woman from the corner of her eye and quickly walks over with a look of concern.]

Are you alright?

[There is so many here that were sick, she just wishes she knew what was going on.]

I'll be fine. Nevada won't be when I find him.

[She knew that he hadn't been feeling well, after all, he had been avoiding her for quite a while now. She had gone all around town trying to find him these past few days and now he was just gone. She was the one that was supposed to run. Not him.]

Nevada? Do you mean Sparks?

[This is a moment where Zelda is happy that she took the time to memorize the other heroes names.]

I haven't seen him for awhile. I fear... [She has heard about those who have died and vanished but it is such a fantastic story to believe.]

He's been gone fer tha past couple days. His Moogle's been goin' crazy. I ain't been able ta do much else.

[The anger's not directed at you, Zelda. She's just not happy with this at all and no, she's not going to even think about Sparks being dead. He ain't allowed to die.]

[She isn't phased by Red's anger but instead thinks back on the whispers that she has heard over the last few days.]

A few people have been disappearing... I wonder if this is all connected some how. Judging from those who have disappeared its as if they were taken.

[She doesn't see Sparks as someone who would just take off, he had the city to protect.

Zelda lets out a slow sigh. She has so many thoughts but they are all guesses until she is able to confirm something.]

Taken 'er not. Someone's gunna regret this.

[Red was going to make someone hurt for this. It may not be Sparks, but it was going to be someone. She was going to make sure of it.]

We just need to find out who that might be.

[She tilts her head to the side before letting out a slow breath. Everything is so complicated now.]

Maybe we can find a clue?

[It wasn't that complicated to Red. She never did like to complicate things. She just found out who was doin' wrongs and she righted them. Or at least righted them in the only way she knew how.]

Ifin' that's what ya wanta do.

[Red isn't the only one walking around in heavy armor, but Cloud's looks more built to defend him while he's on the assault rather than to protect others. Even after the megalixir though he doesn't look to be in good condition. The blonde magitek knight still looks a bit pale and is favoring his left arm while his right hand gently clutches the grip of his gunblade.

He doesn't say anything as he spots Red, but he gives her a nod when they make eye contact.]

[Red really needed to make some more friends in this place. She's going to give Cloud a once over as well, checking out the armor and weaponry as she tried to figure out just what in the world he was.

She also noticed the way he favored his left arm. That wasn't going to be a good thing if there was going to be a fight. She returns the nod with one of her own along with a slight tip of her hat.]

[He hadn't met her before, but there was something about the woman that seemed familiar. Maybe it was the way she carried herself. And then there was the hat tip.]

Um, sorry. Do you know someone named Sparks Nevada?

Know him?

[That got a small laugh out of her.]

Nevada an' I got a lotta past.

I'm tha Red Plains Rider.

[Cloud nods, but then smiles, happy his guess was right.]

He's been a big help since we all wound up here. We've fought alongside each other a few times. He's been able to keep us alive in some bad fights.

[Well except Cloud himself that one time, but it wasn't Spark's fault.

The spiky blonde offers his hand.]

Cloud Strife.

That don't surprise me much. Nevada's got a lotta fight in him.

[The anger seems to be gone for the moment. She can't let it get in the way of finding Sparks. If only Croach was here. She nods a little and gives Cloud a rather firm handshake.]

Someone's gunna regret all of this.

[She motioned all around. The injured Moogles, the missing friends, all of it. Someone was going to pay.]

[Cloud nods in response. He feels the same way. It would be one thing if it was attacking soldiers or something, an enemy they could see. Here though, someone was skulking around in the shadows and striking at them when they weren't able to defend themselves.]

Someone's trying to break us down. Maybe because we're supposed to be some legendary heroes? I don't even know what it is we're meant to do.

[Ashelia had just stepped away from Wedge, holding her Megalixir. She wanted to hold off on taking it for as long as possible, but she wasn't sure how much longer she could hold out. Deciding she would cross that bridge when she came to it, she gulped it down quickly. If the Crystal of Fire was on course for another explosion, it was probably they would all be dead and gone before the sickness took hold of them fully again.]

[She looked around and spotted Red, nodding cordially before approaching the woman.] Greetings. I see you've taken the Megalixir as well?

I did. Ifin' there's gunna be a fight, I wanta be ready fer anything.

[The way that she spoke should set off a few triggers from Ashelia. Not a whole lot of people talked like that and had a hat similar to Sparks. Red was still itching to hurt someone, but she wasn't going to let it get to her, at least, not now.

She needed to find Sparks and figure out what was going on here.]

A fight? [The thought had crossed Ashelia's mind, but she wasn't exactly spoiling for one herself. There were too many unanswered questions - despite how queer it was that the Heroes taken by the sickness had returned, revival from death wasn't a new concept in Crystallis by any means. There was no reason to believe the two groups would come to blows. I should hope not. I am, however...prepared. [Prepared for battle, yes, but her tone sounded more resolute than that. She was prepared to die. The Crystal would see to that, even if the returned Heroes wouldn't.]

Beg pardon, but I don't believe we've met. I am the Lady Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca. I take it you are a friend of Marshal Nevada's?
