Where: South Continent of Balance (Imperial Territories)
When: April 20th to April 30th.
Summary: The Heroes of Light have lost consciousness and now find themselves in the middle of nowhere, without their Moogles and away from everything they know. I'm sure all of those questions and more are running through all of our minds.

None of us know the answers.

We should try to find a place to regroup and gather our bearings. I think I see a light beyond that hill over there. It might be a settlement.

[Now it really isn't the first time Ichigo woke up somewhere strange, whether back home or in this world, but to wake up in the middle of no where? Well, not entirely no where but he didn't wake up in the immediate area of the group and the voices help him find the rest of his housemates as he walks over.]

Whoever's yelling might wanna keep it down in case something comes over to investigate.

[He rubs the back of his neck, not looking the least amused at whatever joke this is. Like the others he's in his night clothes as well but unlike Yuri he does have a shirt on. Don't judge him.]

[ As much as Yuri would tease Rukia on the matter, he didn't. Their situation was a bit more serious than a few cracking jokes. At least, not at the moment. He'll go back to being himself after Rukia removes herself from him and he sits up running a hand through his hair. Honestly, there isn't much to say on the matter. They were in one place minding their own business and now they're all stuck together in most of their night clothes. ]

I'm fine, thankfully. Man, I'm getting tired of these rude awakenings.

[ He sighed as he looked over the rest of his house mates. They were all accounted for except Ichigo for a moment. ] Yo Sunshine, let's not draw unwanted attention. I know we gotta find our moogles or whatever at some point.

[ He replied trying to make Selphie quiet down a little. ]

Sounds about right. Let's do that. Any suggestions on where we're going?

[ Before the Swordsman could continue, he caught sight of Ichigo walking over to them. ]

Oh, look we found Grumpy.

[ Yuri grinned briefly. At least the rest of the men look decently dressed. Why did Yuri end up being the one missing a shirt? Seriously?! Raven was in the Crystal Stasis so he was saved at least. ]

[Rukia's on her feet by the time Ichigo appears. Her head snaps around at the sound of his voice. She doesn't seem to pay any heed to Yuri's teasing of Ichigo, instead dashing across the grass so she can examine the young man. She reaches up to grasp Ichigo's jaw, turning his head left and right as she checks him for injuries. No, he seems to be healthy and whole. Good.]

Then all of us were pulled out of the house, save for Raven. Some sort of translocation spell?

[She rubs her chin thoughtfully, at a loss to explain their situation. At Flynn's suggestion, Rukia nods.]

It's worth investigating.

[It seems she still has her crystal on her as well, so that means she's got access to her Jobs. Concentrating, she summons Yuki, who appears in a flurry of green feathers.]

Kuh-wehhhhh.

Two of you may ride, at least. Especially if your feet are bare.

[As for her? Rukia concentrates again before raising her hand in the air. A second monster is summoned - a velociraptor. It appears with a curious clicking, whipping its long snout back and forth as it tests the air with a flare of its nostrils.]

[Upon seeing Yuki, it hisses.]

Hssssssss. (Hello, breakfast.)

Kwehkh. (Hello, hussy.)

[Both take half-hearted nips at one another before Rukia takes the dinosaur aside and hoists herself onto its back. When you're 4'6", almost anything is rideable.]

Let us make haste either way. At the very least, we should seek decent clothing and weapons to defend ourselves.

Well good morning to you too, Sour Puss! [Selphie blew raspberries in Ichigo's direction.

Then she turns to Yuri:] Don't you think they would've been hovering around everyone trying to wake us up? [She crossed her arms over her chest, rubbing her arms to try and keep warm. Regardless, Selphie piped down.]

Does this sort of stu -- [A random Chocobo appears and the perky brunette raises her hand.]

I call shotgun! The sooner we find a town, the sooner we can figure out how to get back to Aqures Ixen.

[Her hand reflexively shoots into one of the pockets on her pajama bottoms, feeling for the crystal that she kept as close to her person as possible. At least her claim of being able to heal everyone wasn't a joke.]

Well, judging from the position of the sun, I would say we're south of Aqures Ixen. We should start by heading north.

[Flynn nods to Rukia and Selphie.]

We should head in that direction, and if we find a nearby settlement to gather our bearings, all the better.

[He turns to Ichigo.]

We just woke up ourselves, so we haven't really discussed anything.

[Before he could fix Yuri with an annoyed scowl he feels Rukia grab at his jaw to take a good look at him. What the hell is she doing? He's fine, stop fussing over him. It's strange, other than his housemates he really hadn't seen anyone else. At least those present seem all right.

Both creatures receive a bit of a stare when their summoned. The Chocobo looks at least normal to him now but seeing Rukia with a velociraptor? That will take a little longer to accept. But he has no intention of riding any of them if he can help it, especially Yuki.]

I'm good for walking for a bit.

[Yeah, he didn't feel like he's on good enough terms with the fussy bird. He had been feeding some of the birds at the stables in the mornings but that was as far as he got.]

Who knows? Maybe they're stalking behind us as we speak and waiting to assault us when we're awake. Some things enjoy a chase you know?

[ Yuri laughed a the sight and decided to save Ichigo from being embarrassed anymore since Rukia was checking him for injuries like a mom would her child. Then again, Rukia was a lot older than she appeared, according to her. On top of her own job from home-- and this person being someone from her world, he can't say he's surprised at her behavior. ]

Alright, well since the twosome over there got cozy, I think I'll walk. I have shoes on at least and if you really can't walk on your own because you got no shoes, I wouldn't mind carrying one of you. Just don't expect too much.

[ Of course Yuri didn't forget that his companion was missing and he hoped that Repede was okay for the most part. It wouldn't be realistic to have his dog here right now anyway. Yuri fixed his sword as he looked a the two creatures raising a brow. ]

Right-- let's listen to mister former Commandant here. He sure knows his way around.

[ As sarcastic as it sounded, Yuri trusted Flynn's judgement. ]

[After climbing up on the Chocobo's back and getting used to being on one again, Selphie nodded at the notion of heading north. Unless any of them managed to have a map handy of the area where they had wound up, they'd have to go off their sense of direction.

Or... Flynn's in this case. Selphie was liable to get them lost if they went with her sense of direction as she tried to get a better look at their surroundings. It was a series of rolling, muddy hillsides dotted with patches of fresh growth. There appeared to be some thin trees growing in the ground but no appearance of a path that lead to a village.]

Maybe someone could go scout ahead? Maybe there's a farm where we could stop and ask for directions?

That's a possibility. We can fan out and rendezvous back here in an hour with what we find. I lack my armor and weapons, but I'm still capable of using other abilities to fight and defend myself. What of the rest of you?

[Rukia looks out at the others, studying them shrewdly.]

If you require weapons to fight, then pairing up with someone who does not would be wise.

[True, Flynn hadn't even considered that he was half-useless without any Magitek armor.]

We could probably use some of these branches in lieu of swords. Kind of wished I had more fist-fighting artes, though...

...All my stuff's back in my room.

[The idea of using branches as swords seems a little silly aloud but... it's an idea at least. He's not too sure how well the pseudo-weapons would fair against monsters though.]

Ditto for me. I don't got anything other than the stuff I have on my back. Can someone at least warn us next time, jeez.

[ Yuri runs a hand through is hair, clearly a bit agitated with the situation but he was seemingly as calm as he can be. ]

Flynn's idea works, or we find a village with a blacksmith and get us some decent weapons. I'm pretty sure I can handle my own bare handed but it's just efficient.

[Rukia heaves a small, quick sigh. It's not their fault, but they won't be very efficient until they find a place that stockpiles swords. And honestly, she'd feel better with a blade at hand as well.]

Leave the combat to me, at least initially. I can summon animals to fight, and some of my Ninja's skills are more than adequate, even though I lack a weapon. Let us travel together as one for the time being, and seek out a village.

[She urges the velociraptor forward. She really should name it, shouldn't she? Hmmmmmmm...]

I hereby name Velociraptor-chan... BOB.

[Selphie gently nudges the chocobo forward as she looks relatively confident about one of her handier skillsets.]

I'm not much use without a weapon of some sort but I've got some black magic at my disposal. Just the simple spells but it's better than nothing. I can provide support from the back.

[The perky brunette grins to keep her worrisome thoughts at bay.]

Leave it to Rukia and me!

[Oh how Ichigo wishes he could help if any monsters show up. He's definitely not the type to let others protect him since he's so used to being in their position and he has no choice but to take it all with a grain of salt.]

Hopefully any of the monsters out there ignore us but if they don't just be careful.

[ Yuri wasn't really into having any sort of monsters attack them to be honest. If they could avoid it. He'd rather they avoid it. There's no point in fighting with things while they're trying to secure another objective, like what the hell was going on for one thing. ]

Probably for the best. I'm not sure we'd stand a good chance against them without weapons. I mean we could run or cast spells but those only do so much.
