Event || The Answer

Where: South Continent of Balance (Imperial Territories)
When: April 20th to April 30th.
Summary: The Heroes of Light have lost consciousness and now find themselves in the middle of nowhere, without their Moogles and away from everything they know. [Despite their situation, there is one specific thing that Rukia has been looking forward to.]

[SLUMBER PARTY.]

[Whether their room is being shared by the entire group, or if they're separated into two rooms, she's excited for the chance to enjoy one of her favorite things. This will be the second slumber party she's had, and when she returns from her shopping, her arms are loaded with slumber party supplies.]

I found everything we need!

[There's a hairbush, a variety of snacks and beverages, and some paper and pens just in case any of them need to write any poems.]

[What? It happened before.]

[Rukia realizes that Selphie is exhausted, however. Hopefully her exclamation didn't wake up the young lady. It probably did, though.]

I apologize. I wasn't aware you were already asleep.

[Selphie was slipping into a hardcore brood about running into people who were far too much like people that she missed. Thankfully, Rukia has brought a distraction at the perfect time. The perky brunette, while tired, was still wide awake and full of confusing thoughts.

A quick look at the Shinigami's haul has Selphie's mind switching to a puckish frame. There's an impish curl to her lips as her eyes fall to the bag with the hairbrush peeking out from the top.]

Say Rukia, you didn't happen to come across any hot pink hair bows did you? I think it's high time we gave Captain Pretty Hairs [aka: Yuri.] a makeover.

Some of the supplies I got earlier came with pink ribbons, will those work?

[blink blink ~~so not innocently~~]

What exactly are you two troublemakers planning?

[ Yuri replied walking into the room they were sharing for the evening with a bag of supplies. Someone had to at least take precautionary measures. At least, he was normally dressed now-- well he can't say a pair of pants and a t-shirt was normal. He looked like he woke up from sleeping but whatever. ]

I didn't know you were into girly things, Flynn.

[ He sneered at his friend. ]

[Nice job Flynn! Little miss sunshine gives him a thumbs up before she smiled sweetly at Yuri. Such pretty hair was going to waste being all tousled and tangled and just... no good.

The perky brunette went in for the kill with a devilish giggle and a tackle. If the tackle connects, Selphie will be sitting on Yuri's lap with a victorious look on her face. She'll grab his wrists shortly after and keep them in a fairly tight grip.

Never doubt the power of a brat.]

Oh, nothing really.

[Whatthehelljusthappened.]

[Rukia stands there, blinking at the now vacant spot Selphie once occupied, before looking back at Yuri and Selphie. Then at Flynn. Then at her roommates.]

[Do they want to be alone for this? The blossom of young love seems to have bloomed, as far as she can tell.]

[She sets down the bags at the foot of her bed.]

I think I will go see if they have any bowls of stew left for purchase.

[ Of course it does since she came flying at him. He hardly had time to dodge before he's held down, though it doesn't take long for him to literally wrestle himself away from her, despite her strength. ]

Nice try Sunshine. I'm not that easy to pin and you're pretty funny Shorty. There's nothing we need right now. I just bought the bowls for soup.

[ He replied pointing to his bag. ]

If you're thinking something strange, get rid of that thought right now. Your head is sure in the clouds a lot.

Oh?

[Rukia's attention goes straight to the bag, because awkward situation or not, she is hungry. She makes a beeline for Yuri's purchases so she can select her dinner. How thoughtful! She beams down at the bowl, warm in her hands, until Yuri starts lecturing her.]

[Rukia gives him a flat stare.]

How would you know what I'm thinking? Honestly.

[And how can he notice she's mistaking the situation when he's obviously unaware that Selphie must have a ridiculous crush on him? Stupid man.]

You're not particularly the type to wear their heart on their sleeve, but you're not exactly a paradigm wrapped in an enigma guarded by an icy sword, either.

[shrugs]

Out of curiosity, Yuri, have you been conditioning your hair?

[evil smile]

[Selphie sits on the floor for a few moments, pouting at Yuri for botching her attempt at innocent mischief. She continues looking at him petulantly for a few more moments before worming her hands into the bag with their dinner and selecting her favourite of the remaining offerings.

She makes a pleased squeal before looking over at Flynn. The impish look is back as she escorts her dinner back to her bedside table. Within the next couple of minutes, the girl slides over to Flynn with a sly look.]

You know Flynn, there's really only one way to find out.

Yeah, feel free to eat as much as you want. I bought more than enough for us. It's natural when you're giving me that weird look of yours.

[ Yuri replied shrugging his shoulders some as he managed to remain sitting up as he watched Selphie and then side eyeing Flynn for his comment. ]

What he said. You're easy to read but not, however your expression kind of gives you away and seriously, what's this about my hair all of a sudden?

[ He raised a brow. ]

Can it, Sunshine. You guys are way too hyper.

Hmph. You know nothing. And I do possess an icy sword.

[She grumbles as she removes the lid to her stew. Sitting on the edge of her bed with one foot tucked beneath her, Rukia digs in with her spoon and eats with small, prim bites. Seems she's still ingrained with those noble habits, especially when she's miffed.]

...Hair?

[Actually, now that Yuri mentions it, why ARE they fixated on his hair? Then she remembers her original intentions and sits up a little straighter, excitement lighting up her eyes.]

That's right! I bought supplies so we could all enjoy a sleeping party. I understand that styling one another's hair is somewhat customary? Perhaps that's what they're referring to.

[She nods sagely. Clearly she is wise in all things pertaining to slumber parties even though she's only been to one.]

Well, there's also pillow fights, truth or dare, mud wrestling...

[~~Flynn what the hell kind of slumber parties have you been to?~~]

Whoa whoa whoa!

[Selphie lightly elbows Flynn.]

There's no mud wrestling at slumber parties. Come to think of it... I've never really been to one before either...

[The perky brunette smiles apologetically.]

So... we're probably gonna hafta wing it.

Mud wrestling? Truly?

[Good thing Selphie is there, because Rukia would have believed him otherwise. She looks between them as she eats, curious and eager to learn more about this enjoyable human culture.]

I attended one with Zelda several months back. We did indeed play truth or dare. But pillow fighting is new to me. I wouldn't wish to damage these pillows if we are here as guests, however.

Flynn, did you drink too much or something? Never heard of some slumber party with mud wrestling to boot. Though, that could be pretty entertaining.

[ Yuri raised a brow at Flynn's comments about Slumber Parties, in which Yuri doesn't want to like participate in obviously. ]

You really want this slumber party thing don't you Rukia and well you certainly aren't that hard to read.

[ The swordsman is going to stare at you lot with flat eyes. ]

Well, count me out. I'm going to take a stroll.

At night, it's best that we stick here together.

[He's so adamantly against the idea of a slumber party that he's going on a walk?! THAT LOSER. Rukia frowns disapprovingly, setting her bowl of stew aside. She looks at Selphie, nods. She looks at Flynn, nods. Then she stands to her feet.]

[TaptaptaptaptaptapTAPTAPTAPTAPTAP. Rukia dashes straight for her long-haired target and launches herself at his back with the intention of putting him into a headlock. He is NOT going on a walk. And he is NOT going to deny them the fun experience of a slumber party!]

GET HIM.

[Oh no, Yuri. That won't do at all. Selphie was happily eating her dinner when Yuri came to the conclusion to try and bail on their respite. The perky brunette shot Rukia a knowing smile as Selphie darted forward to latch herself onto Yuri's legs.

He wasn't going to be a debbie downer on their fun parade. Their room in the inn was officially a sour puss free zone.]

Don't think you're getting away that easily!

Can it Flynn. You and I both know I'm pretty capable.

[ He replied giving his friend a flat look for that comment. ]

[ Yuri indiscreetly dodges Rukia who launched herself at him without warning. He didn't even feel sorry when she possibly should have hit the ground. Yuri saw Selphie coming and he literally just jumped out of the way. Instead, he'll probably just use Flynn as a human shield. ]

Seriously you guys have some issues. If you're so interested in having your fun do it on your own.

We're ALL capable. You were the one who insisted that we share a single room for the sake of safety, fool!

[Rukia drops her hand to the ground as she skids back. This puts her in range of the door, which she kicks shut and blocks with her body.]

And now you would deny us a chance to grow closer as friends and teammates? Unforgivable!
