Summary: The Heroes of Light have lost consciousness and now find themselves in the middle of nowhere, without their Moogles and away from everything they know. No, I haven't. Then again, I haven't had much opportunity to speak with Sir Raven on matters of the heart.

It would explain why his demeanor seems... happier... than it was before.

[Rukia's smile warms sincerely at his response. She's pleased to know that Raven's happiness has improved to the point where it was noticeable. It was an unexpected joy to find herself caring for him, and to be cared for in return. She leans onto the counter with both elbows, loosely holding her cup in her hands.]

I'm glad to hear that. I'd read his file and learned of his past. Few are more deserving of happiness than that man.

[It's long overdue, in her opinion, and knowing she might be playing a part in that elevated state warms her heart.]

[She's enjoying her drink now, even if it burns her throat with every sip. On further reflection, she probably shouldn't have mentioned reading Raven's file. It's a good thing that Flynn seems to know about it too, then.]

Technically, it was our second date. I bought the first one at an auction, but we weren't attracted to each other then. I just wanted to see what it was like to go on a date as normal people did.

I never expected Sir Raven to sell himself at an auction. Well, I'm sure there was a good reason for it.

Dare I ask how much he went for?

[Rukia furrows her brow, then kneads her forehead.]

No, I'm remembering wrong. He bid for me, and I drove up his price to ensure he was aware that he was valued. He went for over two thousand gil.

[Damn drink, it was making her memories fuzzy.]

I think...Yuri signed him up? Chappopo signed up Yuri because she was dead set on the idea that he needed a romance.

Well, once Yuri gets an idea in his head, it won't be dislodged so easily.

[Rukia's seen a lot less of her since Chappopo and Acrisius started dating. She's rather happy for her little partner, who seems to be living in a world of bliss and dreams. Good for her.]

If there's another such auction, perhaps you should participate. I found it to be rather enjoyable, personally.
