[Ramza notices Rialynn's strange hopping. It must be some new battle dance. He does not take her rapier, because he does not just go stealing weapons from friends without their permission.

So, he Throws a Stone at the Right Side of the Weapon, because that might legitimately do more damage than his previous attacks. Go team!]

Heh... a rock, huh? Need a bigger one...

[Sonic's looking like crap, even with the quick healing from earlier. Either way, he's going to raise up Caliburn and drop into a fighting position.]

You shouldn't be here. You need to get out of here! Don't worry about me - Caliburn and I can take care of this!

[With that, Sonic taps into the Soul Boost ability and lunges at the right arm, rapidly hacking away with the sacred sword.]

[Just a little more, and the left arm should be down. K'pandolu… well, she's just going to hope that they don't need to have both arms down at the same time. She activates Shunshin, for as much of a boost as she can get, and pours a little more power into Electostasis on the left arm, positioning herself to move towards the right arm when it's done.]

The efforts to wear down the right side are successful—As it starts showing the same signs of wear as the left side. However… While the left side is nearly done with, it’s still holding on as efforts were divided last turn. Furthermore, attacking the right side with physical attacks is a danger as well now, due to the electrical discharges.

Attempts to hack into the WEAPON are slow—It seems possible over time to meddle with its commands; which might make it impossible for the sides to regenerate once down. However with only one Hacker on it, it may be very hard to get it done before the Left Side is down and in the regenerating process.

Left Side

It will use its Claw skill to counterattack anyone attacking it with physical attacks. Together with the electrical discharges, this will deal heavy damages.]

It will use its Laser skill to counterattack anyone attacking it with magical attacks, dealing medium damages.

[The core shines and a blue energy ball forms between both hands, causing the entire WEAPON and the ground immediately around it to shake. If it wasn’t obvious, now it is: the WEAPON is charging for a massive attack.
Ultima will be cast next turn.]

[Saori cancelled her clone up still on the airship to focus further on the right arm in front of her to use Clone to recreate the copy next to her. Throw was the only long range physical attack she had but carrying extra weapons for it would've cost her speed. She'll just have to hit hard and fast.]

Well shit, guess it comes down to this.

[She took a deep breath and glanced up at the airshi...wait, was it coming down on the WEAPON? Neither Mary or the crew up there would allow it to descend this rapidly on accident. There was no other choice now. Saori and the accompanying clones synced their stance. Chaos Thurst would hit the entire WEAPON but she hoped it was worth the risk. The two spears twirled as they slashed at their target only for the Left Arm's Claw to counter combined with the electrical discharge to follow suit. While a Dragoon wears armor, it's not enough to soften the blow as she's sent back flying several feet. If there's one silver lining to this utterly reckless move, her own limit break was ready to strike the core if need be.]

[Shocked again, Ira backed off as he winced from the pain. No way in hell was he going to go out because of some machine's static charge or whatever. He casts Drain on the left side again as he sees that Chaos Thrust go off.]

Shit- Saori!

[He casts Cure on his not!mom, before shouting:] Focus on one side! Don't know 'bout you guys, but I'd rather not find out what happens if they're both left functioning...! PREPARE YOURSELVES!

[He'd seen enough Behemoth Heartless charging their Thunder-based spells in his fake memories enough to see where THIS was going.]

Uh-oh. I think we're at the point where it's do-or-die time!

[Deadpool cracked his knuckles and his neck before he and his clones create another Clone, leading to eight Deadpools standing there.]

Alright, guys, it's been an honor. But, now we go out in a blaze of glory! WRECK THE PLACE!

[And as the Deadpools split up, there's the sound of something breaking as the Limit Break: The Fourth Wall hits and... h-hey! Get off of that! Let go of those icons! Sto--]

[...ahem. Well, once the Deadpools are done wrecking the Internet fighting the arms, you can find them laying on the ground, a sparkling, smoldering mess]

[...What the hell did Deadpool just do? No, nevermind. When it comes to Deadpool, sometimes it's best not to ask. Jade spies Sparks getting electrocuted by the breaking arms and quickly prepares a Life spell.

But now, Jade has a decision to make. Should he be ready to heal everyone who gets electrocuted attacking the arms? Even with Haste, he'd be hard-pressed to keep up with only single-target spells at his disposal. That, and the glowing core is making him nervous. The Heroes are about as protected as they can possibly be, but...

He does have one other option. Reaching over his shoulder, Jade brings out Blood Pain -- the ancient staff from the Dawn Age that he's repurposed to wield as a spear, thanks to its sharp blades -- and holds it out in front of him. There's no telling what the incoming attack is going to be, but if it's magical in nature, then maybe... There might be a way to protect all of them.

Jade waits until everyone else has cast whatever spells they wish. Once they're all done and the WEAPON is about to unleash its wrath, he activates Runic. In theory, it should completely absorb any magical attack. He just hopes that applies to WEAPONs too.]

[Duster eyes the the two arms. The core will go off no matter what, but he knows very well that it's easier to fight against two targets than three weakened ones. Guarding against multiple attacks puts one at a disadvantage. The left arm has to go out now, no matter the cost.

Duster rushes to the weaker side of the WEAPON and leaps up with a Jump. When he descends upon the arm, the electrical discharges hit. Pain spreads through his body, but he keeps the spear steady and pointed downwards. The attack connects, and immediately, Duster is struck by the Claw counterattack and hits the ground. The mud softens his fall, but the damages are heavy.

Without waiting for a healing spell, he uses his spear to pull himself back up, reading for another assault.]

[When Chiaki was released from the energy prison, thanks to Duster's earlier You're Not Alone, she felt a familiar power surge through her body. The power of Limit Break. Knowing what it's capable of, though, she's been quietly sitting on it until the opportune moment. And with the WEAPON nearly charged, that moment is now.]

Cheat Code!

[The entire area briefly coalesces into a field of glowing code like something out of the Matrix, and Chiaki's robot begins to rearrange letters and numbers in a seemingly random pattern to anyone but those equipped with the Programmer Job. To those people, it appears she's rewriting reality's source code. And once the effect is over, Chiaki herself and another three Heroes in particular should be feeling incredibly energized.]

Tsubomi, Cloud! Hit it with everything you've got! Jade, be ready to heal anyone who doesn't survive Ultima!

[Tsubomi, Cloud, Jade, and Chiaki are invincible until Chiaki's next action.]

[As Sparks's limit break runs out, so does his health, due to the electrical shocks protecting the arms. He crumples to the ground, but thanks to Jade, is back up a few moments later. He gets to his feet, looking around and blinking in confusion.

Or right, the battle.]

Whoa. That was... not... Um, thanks, whoever cast that.

[Things are looking bad with this WEAPON. Time to set Runic and maybe a Cura on himself if there's time.]

[anyone nearby is free to enjoy K'pandolu's fine selection of Lominsan curses, as she's very worried by this point.]

Give it all you've got, but brace yourselves!

[…this is going to be bad, isn't it. She casts Electrostasis once more on the left arm, and grits her teeth, setting into a defensive stance to try to activate Runic if there's time.]

[Looks like you're damned no matter what way you attack it. Johnny was really hurt, and with no way to heal himself, he knew he wasn't going to last much longer. Time to spend the energy on another Chaos Thrust to hopefully damage both arms as much as he can before he falls.]

[With everything going to heck, Twilight had to move quickly in helping move everything to the front of Kidd's ship. Once she did, she let out a sigh before starting to hover up.]

I think that's all of them. Anyone need a lift before I leave?

[Well, maybe she should have followed Deadpool's example. It seemed to be effective... whatever that was. Tazendra lacked any long-ranged attacks, so she figured she might as well assist in bringing down the left arm with a third Shock]

[Between the claw attack and the electricity, she was knocked prone, her armor smoking.]

Please do finish this for me? I hate to leave so early.

[Did she have time to invoke her limit break? Well, she could try, certainly...]

[Ales isn't going to give up, despite the slow progress. He blocks out the noise of the battle, of Heroes attacking the WEAPON and falling back, badly hurt. They'll be fine. As long as they take off one of the arms before that core explodes or whatever, he can do his work. At least, he hopes they will take out one of the arms before the other. Ales does not have much faith when it comes to heroes in general.

He keeps his cool and steadily works through the code.]

[Well, it seems like now is the time to hold nothing back. Ramza dashes up to the Weapon's Right Side, and begins to batter it with his fists. Though he does not have the Monk job class, he trained in the Martial Arts back in Ivalice, so he at least knows what to do.

As the electrical discharge hits him, he Shouts. It is a wordless battle cry, the loudest thing any of the other Heroes will have heard from the soft-spoken Ramza. He begins to move faster, hit harder, working past the searing pain of the electrical pulses.]

[Okay, Ramza punching the WEAPON is too much for this guy. Everyone is letting themselves get beat up and it's getting weird. Even if it's for a good cause, they're putting themselves in danger in case the Ultima WEAPON stops shutting down. The Barkeep's magic is nearly drained thanks to the Meteor he cast at the start of the fight, and Ethers will not fully replenish it during the fight. This next spell, which may be his last for the fight, needs to count.

He draws on the power of most powerful White Magic that forms when both White and Black and combined. He can't heal everyone individually, but the Mega Regen that envelopes the whole party will help.]

Stay on your toes! [And don't do anything too rash. He's seen people rush into fighting a giant robot before, and they did not come out in one piece. That was before Mordecai got the ability to bring them back to life, but his point still stands.]

[Sonic panted a bit, letting the Mega Regen help him out. With everything coming down on the line, Sonic still had a Trump Card. His pummeling did build up his Limit Break. Time to go all out.]

Alright, Ultima, I'LL SHOW YOU!

[Triggering his Limit Break, his quills turned gold and his eyes red as his head quills stuck up. Enter: Super Sonic! He doesn't feel the invulnerability he usually does, but the speed is there!]

TAAAAAAAKE THIS!

[And with the extra speed, he triggers he Custom Job's ultimate attack Excalibur Sonic, Caliburn transforming into its true form, Excalibur, as Sonic was briefly garbed in golden armor. With a burst of speed, he rocketed towards the left arm, blasting through it and slashing it as he did.]

There's nothing Excalibur can't cut!

[After all the build up and worry and fear, it all came down to this. Bolstered by the various spells and set up with Chiaki's Limit Break, Tsubomi knew what she had to do. The others can handle the arms - she's taking the core. Drawing her gunblade she got ages ago, she took aim at the core.]

For those before us... I will not fail!

[And upon urging her Chocobo, she raced on, blade outward.]

PRECURE ULTIMATE ATTACK: MELODIES OF LIIIIIIIFE!

[The energy of the attack surrounded her before she slammed the weapon into the core, pushing it as far and as hard as she could.]

Palitutu! You will listen to our HEAAAAAARTS!

[With everyone rallying and fighting their hearts out, Cloud can feel his heart beating at the back of his throat. They have to finish this. They can't let this thing beat them. Not just for the sake of this world, and not just to show they can stop the Calamity. If they fall here...even if they survive...he can't let Palitutu break everyone's conviction.

He feels the power of Chiaki's limit break surge into him. He knows what he has to do, and any fear of what is coming is now gone. In his armor he gives chase after Tsubomi, running behind her and firing every magitek missile he can at the whole of the Ultima WEAPON, both sides and the core. The missile swarm and resulting explosions shower around Tsubomi, giving her the most dramatic backdrop to her attack possible.]

[Mary clutches the wheel of her airship tight, keeping it steady as she aims the bow of the ship carefully. The whole of it rattles as it picks up speed, but she tries to keep it pointed at the right side with the hope that the explosion might catch some of the core as well.]

That's it! Everyone abandon ship!

[Her Assassins leap from the railing, using whatever means they have available to them to try to survive. This isn't an ideal scenario, but they all knew what they were signing up for when they volunteered for this mission.

Once she's sure everyone is gone she steps back and pulls her belt from her waist. Lashing it around the wheel to keep it steady she can't help but chuckle to herself.]

Never was the sort to go down with the ship.

[She runs for the railing as the airship bears down in its final run. One one bound she plants her foot on the rail and another launches her into the air. Her arms spread wide as she dives, eyes closed as she falls to the hard ground below. There's nothing there to break her fall but she has faith. If she were back on her world this fall would kill her.

But in Crystallis even more than on Earth, nothing is true. Everything is permitted.

In one hand she clutches a loop of rope she had grabbed in her departure from the ship. With an upward sweep she lashes it into the air. The rope's end pulls taut and she starts to swing out of her dive, her speed slowing to a much more managable rate and the arc of the swing lands her right by Saori and Ira's side.]

Sorry I'm late. Are you alright?

Aang had been helping Mary by providing what wind he could to both increase the airship's speed and keep it on course. Now that she had given the orders, he had climbed up to the prow of Mary's airship and was considering the jump. Man, maybe he should have gotten Appa or a chocobo or a flying monster. Not being able to use a glider sucked. Then he heard Twilight.

"Yeah, think I need a lift. Let's get out of here."

He could keep using his Aerokinesis to make sure the airship completed its mission. .
