Event || Revelations

Characters: All the Heroes of Light and their Moogles.
Where: Order's Sanctuary, The Interdimensional Rift and their Homeworlds.
When: August 03rd - August 30th

Summary: Following the battle against Palitutu, all the Heroes of Light were transported into the Interdimensional Rift. They were told by Palitutu they would have to find her to prove they can break the cycle-- But before they could reach their destination, a malevolent entity from the Rift stripped them from their immortality...

And now, they woke up in a decaying and dying world, most specifically in a place called Order's Sanctuary. From there they are ready to jump... Into their homeworlds! Feel free to use this post for the Mingle at Order's Sanctuary and should your homeworld be the stage for the Heroes of Lights' next adventures, feel free to make a thread for it and as many sub-thread as necessary! Please refer to the OOC Post for questions and plotting.

And as Deadpool takes notice of what Jack said and Sephiroth glaring at him, Deadpool can't help but gawk in annoyance.

"Oh, c'mon, you guys can't seriously still be mad over that, are ya?" he said in annoyance. "Jeez, I'm sorry. There, you happy?"

He crosses his arms and sulks.

"Stupid Dr. Who wanna-be, thinks he's Captain America..."

Ed was going to check the area for any unwatched medical equipment. He's good enough with sleight of hand that any stethoscopes or lab coats will be his without anyone noticing. He was a chemist, not a medical doctor, but he could fake it well enough if anyone asked him any questions. This would have to do for a disguise for now. If they needed someone to sneak into medical areas later, he could handle it. For now, he'll stick with the rest of the group, in order to keep from getting mistaken for the real thing.

High-value asset? Jack, you do care. It's a shame Santa doesn't hear it, as he's following the kid and the lady with his eyes. What. The. Fuck. How is she here? And more important, what does she want with a bunch of kids?

Santa hurries back to Jack. He's the one who knows the most about what's going on. He's talking with some uniformed guy, but Santa dismisses the guard right off the bat. Kalki gathering up orphans takes precedent. Santa knows what can happen when the wrong people get their hands on kids who won't be missed.

"Harkness, you see that? Where's she taking those kids?" he hisses at the Captain.

Sparks isn't sure what all of this medical equipment does. While most of it looks ancient to him, it looks light years beyond a lot of Crystallis's tech, so he'll take it all.

"Good thing we stumbled across this place. Considerin', um, y'know, recent circumstances."

They were going to need everything they could for fast healing now that magic didn't work as well as it used to.

That innocuous retcon bottle is getting shoved into a pocket when Jack is turned away. You can't say things like that to someone and expect them to not be curious.

Will that be, you know, ok around here? [Don't think Aoi doesn't notice that Duster looks kinda nervous about it.]

Like, if you're not out or whatever, you don't gotta say anything. [He doesn't wanna cause trouble for Duster. He doesn't want Duster to 'have' to do anything. Aoi can keep it quiet if he needs to.

He hurries to keep up with Duster. Ugh, if he's gonna meet new people, he hopes he doesn't gotta do it all sweaty from hoofing it across Farmville.]

At the mention of what this world was, Johnny's eyes go wide with worry, and he immediately stops tugging on his collar. He might not know many details about this place, but what he knew was bad enough.

"It's-- What? This is that place? But isn't this place--"

He doesn't have to say it, but "tremendously fucked up" is implied there.

Johnny can't feel anything but uncomfortable on this island, especially with the collar around his neck, so he set to work right away, looking for what they needed. The sooner they get out of here, the better.

Normally, clothes wouldn't be something he'd be concerned about. But after a year and a half on Crystallis, he'd welcome anything that wasn't the local fashion. He's supposed to be looking for some kind of tiny sweaters, but as he pops into the shop, his eyes immediately go to the jeans section.

The half demon gives a quick wave to the person working in the store as he enters. "Um, hey."

She looked at Saori--only a little surprised. Coincidences weren't new to her. "Thanatos is the God of Death here. Do you know of him?"

One brow raised at the way Reno handled the introductions, a huge clue in that single word "the". But she waited until he finished before speaking up.

"You went from here to there, and you remembered? And I was there, too?" She looked at him, brows knitted. "Did I remember you, too?" She knew time worked in strange ways here, so it wouldn't surprise her if at some point in the future she left, while he came back to a time before it.

Turning to Cloud, she gave him a gentle smile. Reno kind of left something out with him. "I'm sorry if it seems like I know you, but you see..." She hesitated. "There was an older version of you here a while ago. We were friends." After nodding to the rest of the group in greeting, she looked at Johnny and nodded. She had no idea what he was actually thinking, but from his tone, she could guess it wasn't good.

Finally turning back to Reno, she nodded. "I kinda figured that. It's not every day I have a God's voice booming inside my head and waking me up. So, what do you need?"

"Hey," he answered with a friendly flutter of his eyelashes. "You new here?"

He didn't talk to everyone on the island, but he'd been around a while and he didn't recognize this guy. And, for just a bit, whatever the hell Atia was doing was not his problem. He was going to go on about his own business and have a very pleasant, uneventful time.

His own collar was a little tight, but he had some time.

Lydia's mouth remain twisted in a frustrated scowl. "Honestly, I'm tempted to sit right here and make her come to us." There's a 'but' implied there, and Lydia huffs a sigh out.

"But, I know that's not the reasonable or rational response." Nor the most mature, even if it'd make Lydia feel better briefly. It wasn't the most productive response either.

[Betel-Po shakes the paw enthusiastically, grinning. He likes this place.]

We're friendly. We've heard about the Teensies, but this place is definitely better than we imagined.

[Lydia's statement will be backed up by Betel-Po if he can, by heading over and nodding. Then hugging his hero. Anything to help the PR so they can explore this place.]

It's.. it's nothing. [She kept her voice low, so only the moogles and Vincent could hear.] I just wasn't prepared.

[A half-lie, but she wasn't going to explain to them the consequences of her sins. Yet she doesn't really wave Vincent off either. Instead she glances at him, nodding once. Hopefully he will understand and help her up.]

He's right. While we shouldn't linger here, it would be more prudent to.. send a few out for disguises.

[Mainly for ~~her son~~ Sephiroth, but the longer she stayed here, the more likely her own symptoms would worsen.]

[It was more that things were still complicated, unsure of what was allowed or who would allow what, when it came to the both of them. But she knew him--and Vincent knew her well enough to understand her signal. A slower blink back was his response, before he reached out to gently stroke Zack once against the chocobo's crest.]

Stay still Zack, thank you.

[Expedient from there, as well as easier, to simply move to pick Lucrecia up himself. Helping her settle on the chocobo, Ophelia fluttering up nearby, hands wringing in her scarf in worry. Then Vincent let the rest of the group have his attention.]

Unless the portal closes behind us, we'll have to come back periodically to check here. Nibelheim is not a good location, but it isn't so far that some of us can't go there and get supplies and clothes.

[A look at Reno there, shared between them. Then crimson eyes slid to Rukia.]

If you come with us you'll likely have questions. Some we won't want to answer--but you're a stranger here Miss Rukia. You're probably best suited to help us obtain what we need.

[OOC: Hope it's okay to do that with Zack, Tazrael. Seemed implied in your post that the chocobo wouldn't mind.]

[Being back home with other seraphim is a good opportunity for Sorey to catch Rose alone - without their friends hanging about inside of him all of the time. There are some things he wants to talk to her about before he goes to discuss it with the others. Or maybe he feels that he needs the advice of another human and Rose is certainly one of the few he can truly talk to about all sorts of issues. Maybe it's just that he wants her advice as someone who hadn't come from Crystallis like both Mikleo and Edna had.

So it's while they're resting in Elysia that Sorey wanders over to talk to her.]

Hey Rose. [There is clearly something weighing on him that isn't what they have left to do here in this world.]

It's Camlann on the continent of Glenwood.

[He would be perfectly fine letting her stand back and heal, not take the opportunity to retreat like he'd been giving her. Sorey does catch the look Mikleo is giving him but doesn't think this lady will fall back to safety no matter what he says.]

Just make sure to stay back. Mikleo will be mad at the both of us if you get hurt.

[The concern Mikleo feels towards this individual is shared by Sorey so he will do what he can to prevent her from getting hurt. So he turns to address his friend.]

She'd be safer if she stuck close to us. There are hellions running around everywhere.

[One minute Mikleo is telling him about this woman and arguing with Zaveid and the next he's rushing off to block her attack that is aimed straight at the hellion. For a very brief second, Sorey can only blink at the scene unfolding in front of him and how Mikleo has her stopped.

He finally realizes what's happening... or he thinks he does, and also rushes over to attempt to put a stop to her actions.]

You shouldn't do that! It's dangerous and they need to be purified.

[Sorey doesn't realize what kind of person this is but he can only tell her what he's been saying to everyone else who finds themselves here.]

"Talk? Man, that sounds ominous."

Thankfully, Zelos is in more of a serious mindset right now himself. Things are happening around the world that are making people freak out, and currently, he's still useful in solving problems. He's been working closely with the King and Sheena, and so he was here on business— but it seemed odd that she'd show up here out of nowhere.

He's wary, because of it. But it's not like it doesn't seem like Sheena. Placing one hand on his hip, he looks back into the house before gesturing for her (and whoever she'd like to take) to follow.

"Come on, I'll take us somewhere private." With that, he'll lead the way to the room upstairs.

[They'll do whatever they can to keep the changes to a minimum. He's pretty glad that there isn't a second Mikleo hanging out inside of him or things would definitely get complicated. Sorey doesn't even want to think about what could happen if they touched or something.

For the moment he turns his thoughts away from what his friend has to do in Crystallis and focuses his attention on what is currently happening in Glenwood. Though he does think that they should get Mikleo back to the other world just in case the seraph's presence is needed there. How the other will take that idea, Sorey can already guess.]

It can't be our world. You would have already gone through all of it, wouldn't you? [His head is starting to hurt from thinking about all of this.] Where?

[Mikleo... he's never been to Hexen Isle. They haven't even made it out of Camlann's broken village yet or been anywhere near Heldalf yet.]

A cafe? Really? Well, your cold desserts are the best.

[Sorey is totally laughing on the inside to the point where it shows on his face in a grin. At least he's giving up that notebook willingly, he could have tried to keep it. Though he knows when to put aside his burning curiosity and be focusing on other things.]

You should've known better than to let me have it in the first place.

[A gentle ribbing as he reaches out to poke Mikleo in the side.]

Mikleo. We're closer to home than to an inn. We can just stay there for the night and figure out where to go from there.

"Play nice, Maraich. He's kind of my favorite." Reno walked in after Johnny and greeted his old friend with a peck on the cheek. "But if it's alright with him..."

He shot a wink to Johnny, knowing things were awkward for everyone as it was. But being back here, back with people who recognized him for... well, other things besides being a "hero?" He had to admit, it was pretty nice for the ego.

"Ishida here?" he asked hopefully. The guy was managing, like, four businesses...

Not all assassins are kill-happy. Information has its weight in gold in a time like this. Saori glanced back at the others and put a finger to her lips, to remind them to keep quiet and hopefully assure them this is was strictly for reconnaissance purposes.

Saori followed Mary's lead and quietly tailed after the woman. She managed to quickly slip the baby to a nearby nurse before she continued. True, this woman may just simply look like her, but the two Assassins had to be sure. Was she the reason why they were brought to this specific world when no Hero, at least to Saori's knowledge, was tied to it?

Not to mention, children were being involved. As mother, Saori just couldn't turn a blind eye on that.

[ Repede just gives Leon a stare with the pipe in his mouth moving from one end to another. He didn't seem particularly interested in the other as Yuri seemed to be. ]

I'm curious though to see what this place is like too. Can't say I'm opposed to traveling with another person versus being on my own. Better in pairs and up than alone right?

[ This is Yuri insisting since he would very much like to figure out things and having people would be more helpful. ]

Leaving already? You're not the talkative type huh?

[ Yuri almost got hit with her sudden thrust upward as she jolted awake. He lands back a few feet to dodge her jumping form before giving her a raised brow. Did she think he wasn't going to be okay or something? He can't seem to understand why she said that at first but decided it'd be better to ask than assume. ]

I think they should be? Were you dreaming again Sunshine?

[ He mused giving the other the look. ]

I haven't seen Shorty. Can't say I was involved with the battle though.

[ He was watching it from the side but didn't fully participate for his own reasons. ]

Well let's be tired in a safer place Sunshine. C'mon up you go.

[ He replied offering her a hand as he briefly grinned at her. ]

I don't believe that I am but thank you.

[ He might still be embarrassed by her compliment. He's pretty optimistic about all of this to be honest. People may see Lust differently but he knows for a fact that she's been pleasant with him from what he remembered so he wasn't going to simply judge her for her past deeds as he stated before. ]

Certainly. Perhaps, we'll find some answers.

[ He doesn't really mention them either. It was better not to mention them at all. He would prefer to keep them in the down low so it would help his state of being right now. ]

Yes. It still needs to be said.

[ He gives her a look. ]

I don't think that's a wise choice not knowing where we'll end up. I don't think I should simply just leap into it. We don't even know if it's safe at all.
