Event || Revelations

Characters: All the Heroes of Light and their Moogles.
Where: Order's Sanctuary, The Interdimensional Rift and their Homeworlds.
When: August 03rd - August 30th

Summary: Following the battle against Palitutu, all the Heroes of Light were transported into the Interdimensional Rift. They were told by Palitutu they would have to find her to prove they can break the cycle-- But before they could reach their destination, a malevolent entity from the Rift stripped them from their immortality...

And now, they woke up in a decaying and dying world, most specifically in a place called Order's Sanctuary. From there they are ready to jump... Into their homeworlds! Feel free to use this post for the Mingle at Order's Sanctuary and should your homeworld be the stage for the Heroes of Lights' next adventures, feel free to make a thread for it and as many sub-thread as necessary! Please refer to the OOC Post for questions and plotting.

◄ Hot Springs

[Ah yes, there's nothing relaxing after a hard day of saving the world than soaking in the hot springs. Rose can be found lounging against a large stalagmite, face red from the heat and a towel wrapped around her torso to keep certain wind seraph from getting a free show.]

Ah, this is the best after a long day!

[Are there any ladies who'd like to join her?]

◄ Camlaan, the Origin Village

[For a village that was supposed to be abandoned and sealed off from the rest of the world, there sure were a lot of people in the village. Rose would stop to defend someone against a hellion and would purify the beast in the process before casting a fierce look at the person behind her.]

Get out of here before you get yourself killed! Follow the path behind me out of this village. If you run into another creature like that, run away.

[And then she's off, her twin daggers at the ready to fend off another hellion.]

[ Just as Rose was going after defending people, Mikleo himself was as well. The Heroes of Light that were left to fend for themselves in the continent of Glenwood weren't exactly the best idea for many. He was definitely biting more than he could chew but the exhaustion and tiring acts were nothing compared to the journey that he had gone through with all of these people

He had collected himself and ensured himself that Sorey and the others that he had seen were not of his time. There was information that he probably couldn't tell them. Of course, he didn't know all theories of paradoxes and such but he wouldn't lie to them if they wanted the truth. He was different. Everyone could feel that. There was something different about him, older, wiser and even if he physically didn't look different, he was more mature.

Icicles sent another swarm of hellions falling over as Mikleo rushed to Rose's side, back to back. ]

Don't take this all on your own Rose. Let's do this together.

[ He replied, giving her a brief look before moving out again. He quietly told the people that he ran into to move along as well and run if they can. They were all warriors and fighters but they were no match for the type of things that Mikleo and the others were fighting. ]

[Rose had seen the people that she didn't recognize popping up all Camlann. She'd fended off what Hellions she could from the strangers before strongly suggesting that they leave the area or take cover. The village was supposed to be abandoned so just where were they all coming from?

She'd been squaring off against a Hellion when Mikleo's voice rang through the air. She looked at him with relief before finishing the beast off.]

Yeah! We've got this.

[She crouched low, twin daggers pointed low to the ground before she dashed at the next Hellion who came into her path.]

[ Mikleo has an answer for that but he can't really give it to her while they're fighting hellions right now can they? At least they're small fries that they can take out without wasting too much time. Mikleo's already blasting them away with his water based Seraphic Artes. ]

Don't overdo it.

[ He replies as a warning to her not to exhaust herself too much in the current situation. With another swing of his staff, he finishes off the rest of the hellions on his side and watching Rose's back all the while trying to wrap his head around everything. ]

[Rose shot a sharp look in Mikleo's direction at the warning as she made quick work of the last Hellion with Blazing Tempest.]

Please, when I have I ever overdone it?

[She dusted herself off before wheeling around to stare down the water seraph. Her brow is furrowed into a thoughtful frown as her hands go to her hips.]

Okay Mikleo, Camlann is supposed to be abandoned, right? So where are all these people coming from? Are they with Rolance or Hyland? Can they see you guys?

[ He sighs with her. ]

I could name several occasions if you wish for me to do so---

[ as he sends another flying with Twin Flow followed by some other water based abilities he had up his sleeves. He wasn't going to fall behind as he was talking with her. At least it seemed like they cleared the first wave of hellions. ]

--H-Hey! One thing a time. You're asking too many questions!

[ He snapped when she started bombarding him with questions. ]

Yes, it was sealed off for a long time. I can't imagine people coming here without proper direction or destruction of the seal. Heldalf seems to have already passed through here so it isn't a surprise to see people find their way here. However, these people are probably most likely coming from a portal that was created by a woman named Palitutu is missing from what I know and some entity is the cause for this dimensional rift.

[Rose shrugs her shoulders.]

Details, schmetails!

[Rose listens intently, absorbing that information. It's hard to believe that there are other worlds out there but given the recent revelations of the seraphim not being from fairy tales or stories told to scare little kids made Rose think twice. Especially when it was coming from Mikleo.]

So wait, there's some other person trying to destroy this world and these newcomers are from the same place? Mikleo, you need to tell me everything because you know that once Sorey finds out about this, he's going to want to help.

[And that's the part that worries her most. The Shepherd's shoulders were already heavy with the burden of becoming Maotelus' vessel. Adding anything else on there may cause Sorey to break.]

You're impossible as always.

[ He smiles as he puts his hands on his hips. Rose hasn't changed one bit and that smile on his face was obviously very sincere and content. It was nice to see her in good spirits and it's rare for him to see her the way she was right now. It didn't really matter she was going to be Rose no matter what he said. He knew that. Of course, he doesn't think that she'd take him seriously but he was going to prove his point until she did. He's quite surprised that she seemed to take it pretty seriously. ]

Yes, I'm aware that he'll want to help everyone. As I said, I've come from the world called Crystallis. It takes people from their worlds and placed them in it while making them play the role of "Heroes of Light." These "Heroes of Light" are expected to save Crystallis from the Calamity, an entity that is slowly poisoning the world by encasing the lands in crystals-- but we need to finish this first before I can continue. Can I count on your for back up?

[ He replied turning his back to her as he stated his comments. The rest of it was going to be on hold until he feels the need to tell her-- but after they fight these hellions. He's quite aware that anything can corrupt Sorey easily so he doesn't want to stress his friend out but it's not like Sorey won't know about it. He can't lie to his best friend after all. ]

[Pyrrha isn't entirely sure what she's supposed to be doing here yet, but hot springs are always a welcome sight. She just hopes she won't be disturbing anyone.]

Oh... I didn't know someone was already here. Should I come back?

[She's already wrapped up in a towel of her own, her long red hair tied up.]

[Rose grinned at Pyrrha and motioned her to in to the water.]

There's plenty of room, come on in!

[Rose eyed the newcomer curiously though. Just who was this?]

I don't think I've seen you around before. Are you new to the area?

Thank you, then.

[Pyrrha nods, slipping into the water and sighing deeply as she relaxes.]

Me? Ah... yes, I suppose you might say that.

[Smoooooooth.]

[Rose picks up on the notion that this may be someone from that world Mikleo had mentioned before but she merely lets it slide. Pyrrha must have her reasons for not divulging a lot of information. Rose would do the same thing in all honesty.]

If you the Gald to spare, there's a guy wandering around town that sells maps of the area.

[Rose opts to mimick the accent of the Turtlez.]

He talkz like thiz so you can't mizz himz.

[Pyrrha doesn't feel good about having to lie - that, and she's awful at it - but she gets the feeling that shaking things up too much would be bad. She's privately relieved that Rose isn't pushing things.]

That's a rather... distinct accent. I don't think I'll have any trouble. Thank you, ah...

[Whoops. Never got a name.]

Rose. Name's Rose of the Sparrowfeathers.

[Rose isn't one for pushing for the tiny details anyway. She smiles at Pyrrha casually before leaning back against the rim of the hot springs.]

If you ever need help locating anything, look me up and I'll help you out.

[For a small fee.]

[Pyrrha echoes the name only slightly too loudly. She'll never cease being awkward when meeting new people.]

Ah... it's nice to meet you. And thank you. I'll be sure to ask you if I need anything.

[Being back home with other seraphim is a good opportunity for Sorey to catch Rose alone - without their friends hanging about inside of him all of the time. There are some things he wants to talk to her about before he goes to discuss it with the others. Or maybe he feels that he needs the advice of another human and Rose is certainly one of the few he can truly talk to about all sorts of issues. Maybe it's just that he wants her advice as someone who hadn't come from Crystallis like both Mikleo and Edna had.

So it's while they're resting in Elysia that Sorey wanders over to talk to her.]

Hey Rose. [There is clearly something weighing on him that isn't what they have left to do here in this world.]

[Rose is thinking about more than a few things about their journey on the outskirts of Elysia herself. There'd been more than a few strange encounters recently and while she too had gotten the explanation from Mikleo regarding Crystallis, it was very to believe.

Glenwood was in danger from another world and Mikleo was trying to stop it. Rose may only be Sorey's squire but she knows her friend well enough by now to know that he will want to help end all of this to save all of the worlds. She knows that it's a heavy burden to be the Shepherd but to add the fate of several other worlds onto already heavy shoulders could break her pure-hearted friend.]

Hey... [She pats a spot nearby her to encourage Sorey to sit down.] It looks like you've got something on your mind.
