Characters: All the Heroes of Light and their Moogles.
Where: Order's Sanctuary, The Interdimensional Rift and their Homeworlds.
When: August 03rd - August 30th

Summary: Following the battle against Palitutu, all the Heroes of Light were transported into the Interdimensional Rift. They were told by Palitutu they would have to find her to prove they can break the cycle-- But before they could reach their destination, a malevolent entity from the Rift stripped them from their immortality...

And now, they woke up in a decaying and dying world, most specifically in a place called Order's Sanctuary. From there they are ready to jump... Into their homeworlds! Feel free to use this post for the Mingle at Order's Sanctuary and should your homeworld be the stage for the Heroes of Lights' next adventures, feel free to make a thread for it and as many sub-thread as necessary! Please refer to the OOC Post for questions and plotting.

[Bartz is surprised and confused, but at least crazy events brought him somewhere familiar this time. Once he has a grasp on where he is, he's making a beeline in the direction of the throne. Not that there's much else in Order's sanctuary. Once there, he's calling out.]

Cosmos! Can you hear me? It's Bartz...

[He doesn't see her, but with goddesses you never know.]

[Cloud wanders over, drawn by the sound of Bartz shouting to the throne and the air around it. Zack tromps along behind him, nibbling at his partner's hair whenever Cloud slows down. Cloud only makes the most basic of efforts to brush the chocobo's beak away.]

Bartz? Are you okay? Who is Cosmos?

[The short but frustrated sigh is an indication of how rough this day has been. Even Bartz is feeling the strain.]

She's... the goddess that summoned a bunch of us to fight those Chaos guys. You don't remember any of that though.

[Cloud nods, not quite understanding but kinda getting it.]

A different me you mean? Is this the world you come from?

[Cloud remembers talking to Bartz a little bit about this in the past, but it was over a year ago and he can't quite remember.]

[That's fine, Bartz probably understands less about all this multi dimensional stuff than Cloud does.]

This isn't the world I came from, but it is the world I was in last. Um, before Crystallis I mean.

[Cloud doesn't really know much. All he knows is people keep recognizing him and then commenting he looks younger.]

Oh yeah. One where you and the others you were with were all fighting all the time? Some of the others came from that world too, right?

Yeah, that's the one. But if she's gone and Chaos is gone....

[He glances around and his brow wrinkles.]

I guess that's why everything is falling apart.

[Oh, it's that kid he ditched. It kind of sucks when you're stuck in a dead world of some kind and someone you actively tried to lie to is there, but he'll own it by being the first to say something.]

Who the hell're you talking to?

[Nailed it.]

Cosmos. This is where she always was before, so I thought maybe I could find her.

[Good job. That explains everything.]

But I guess if she's gone then Chaos probably is too.

Hold it. Am I supposed to believe some lady actually lived in this dump?

[It's so...empty? Are they going to starve to death?]

Have you been here before?

It wasn't a dump when she lived here. This is where I was before I came to Crystallis.

[It's not his original home, but it is where he was pulled from.]

[It really. Looks like it needs some sprucing up. He obviously doesn't believe Bartz.]

Well... I never really lived here but it wasn't like this last time I saw it.

[Bartz misses the subtext. He's good at that. He glances off toward the horizon thoughtfully.]

I wonder if Chaos's place is like this too...

[oh. Now that seems fairly indicative.]

Do you recognise this place?

Yeah....

[Oh. She probably wants him to elaborate.]

This is the world I was in before I came to Crystallis. But Cosmos is gone. And the whole place is falling apart...

[Something about that makes him sad.]

Ah… I'm sorry. Was Cosmos important to you?

[she looks around, ears dropping.]

Is there anything we can do about that?

She's a friend.

[Which makes her important. He hopes that where ever she is she's okay.]

I dunno if there's anything we can do. If Cosmos is gone, then Chaos probably is too. And there's no point to this place if neither of them is around.

Choas…? An opposite to her?

[hm.

Well- more to the point, she looks around, frowning.]

Does that mean there's a time limit for us to be here?

Yeah. Me and a bunch of other people fought for her and he had a lot of guys fighting for him too.

[He starts ticking the key events off on his fingers.]

We had to fight those guys and find these crystals and then 'know true darkness' and then beat up Chaos. It was actually kind of hard. But now that it's over, I guess... this place might just fall apart.

[But who knows how long that will take.]

[grandsummon]

( hearing someone call for cosmos catches yuna's ear immediately, and she looks over, finding bartz among the heroes. with her head down, feeling rather dejected, she shook it gently as she approached. )

I don't think... Cosmos is truly here.

Then why are we here?

[The question comes out with more frustration than he's used to feeling.]

And what happened to Cosmos?

( there's a shake of her head. she knew that bartz wouldn't remember her, just like the others. almost... all the others... )

I'm not sure... this Sanctuary and Cosmos' are one in the same. ( she remember just about everything, as it was. which was a marked different from the times she usually woke up here. )

It looks the same.

[He's looking at her curiously now.]

I mean, except how it's falling apart. Why do you think it's different?

[grandsummon]

( she looks off into the distance, watching the horizon thoughtfully. ) It feels different. I can remember everything about this place, and my home, and... even Crystallis.

Every other time... memories like that were much more fleeting. ( and she looks back towards him finally, wondering if it had been the same, in what she had hoped was the final cycle. the thirteenth... )

[He frowns thoughtfully.]

I still don't remember everything. My memories started coming back once I got to Crystallis, but it's been really slow.

[Not that he's been actively trying to retrieve his memories. Bartz has just been waiting for them to return on their own. No rush.]

But I don't think that has anything to do with this place. Cosmos was probably the one who our memories away.
