Summary: Following the battle against Palitutu, all the Heroes of Light were transported into the Interdimensional Rift. They were told by Palitutu they would have to find her to prove they can break the cycle-- But before they could reach their destination, a malevolent entity from the Rift stripped them from their immortality...

And now, they woke up in a decaying and dying world, most specifically in a place called Order's Sanctuary. From there they are ready to jump... Into their homeworlds! Feel free to use this post for the Mingle at Order's Sanctuary and should your homeworld be the stage for the Heroes of Lights' next adventures, feel free to make a thread for it and as many sub-thread as necessary! Please refer to the OOC Post for questions and plotting.

[ Honestly, Mikleo was being dragged by the pull as well from his daily work at the cafe that Anise had once owned. He hadn't seen the girl and somehow found her in the Crystal Stasis not too long after that. Since then he's been helping Selphie instead.

With that being said he's approaching the scene with his quarterstaff and looking around for anyone he knew. It takes a few minutes but he catches Lust's silhouette not too far from him as he made his way over to her. A simple smile played on his lip since he's been wondering how she's been and she seemed well enough. He didn't know what happened but being pulled from his space was a bit troublesome, seeing he had his staff in one hand and a half made parfait in the other.

This didn't look awkward at all, nope. He didn't have to ask but she looked a little more than just displeased in her white lab coat. Was she doing some research or? He's curious. ]

Lust.

Mikleo.

[She returns the greeting with a nod, starting toward him, but she stops when she sees what he's holding in his hands. And she's not looking at his mage staff.]

Why are you still holding onto that? This is an odd place to be eating dessert.

[Honestly she's more annoyed than she lets on, but the parfait has nothing to do with it.]

It seems we've been given a chance to visit our homeworlds. What do you intend to do now?

You seem rather well, Lust. I hope things are alright for you.

[ He replies as he approaches her. Well, let's not ask him why he's got a parfait in his hands. It's kind of hard to explain when you are placed in an awkward position when you were trying to make things. ]

It wasn't intentional. I was in the middle of making it before something felt odd and I didn't expect to be tossed here, wherever here is. What about you?

[ She had a coat on and he was curious to why she did have one on. ]

Visiting our home worlds huh? I haven't exactly put thought into it. Will you be returning to yours temporarily, Lust?

[ When he did ask that questions he sort of dwells on the question in general. Did he really want to go back? ]

That's a fair question.

[And she's not explaining the lab coat because it's obvious, and he also didn't ask. She folds her arms, coolly studying the winking doors of light that, apparently, will take them to the worlds of their origin.]

We don't know what will happen to us once we step through those doors. I was dead in my world before being summoned to this one.

[There are other reasons she hesitates as well. Even if she doesn't die, she's not sure she wants to go back to being a homunculus. She's just starting to like this miserable meatsuit she's wearing. And then there's the temptation of the Philosopher's Stone. If she goes in, she might not want to come out until she's got what she wants.]

What about you?

[Her waves of black curls sway as she lifts her head and turns it toward the young Seraph.]

I'm sure this will be rather nostalgic for you.

Is it?

[ he seems a bit confused but he lets it go as she continues to speak and answer his question. He honestly doesn't know what to say to her for a moment but it's definitely something that requires him to think about. ]

I see. That is truly tragic. I'm sorry for not knowing that fact. I am uncertain of how we'll end up in our worlds much less where. It seems to be gamble to jump into these portals. I suppose we'd have to expect the worse. I want to know how these things started appearing in the first place.

[ He sort of wanders to one as he looks at it and inspects it as he's speaking to her. ]

I am not certain how I will feel about returning to my world until I do. It will definitely be nostalgic to be back in a place that I've known all my life.

[ He mused, trying to work his thoughts out as he answers her question. ]

[The corners of Lust's mouth quirk up. There had been no one to mourn her when she'd died, and she had known it. Her mockery of a life had ended alone, wondering where she would go when she died, if she would go anywhere at all. But here was one person who seemed deeply sorrowful about her passing, even though he'd never known her until meeting in this world. She might be a little touched.]

There's no reason to be sad about it. I truly was a monster.

[She gives his shoulder a light squeeze as she passes him to investigate the portal, as well as the strange creatures lurking outside. It seems like they're unwilling to get too close. Or perhaps they simply can't.]

No sense wasting time standing around. Shall we set out and end this?

[Lust would like to get back to the lab and pick up her studies once more, and soon.]

[ He might have seen that but he didn't make any comment on it since it seemed like a subject that Lust didn't want to talk about judging from her demeanor anyway. He keeps looking around as he waits for her to speak again. Of course, he can never truly hate her no matter what bad she has done. He's well aware of people and what they are capable of. Sometimes they go the wrong way but it's not like they're bad people. She's nothing like those he's seen in his world, such as Lunarre or Heldalf.

Something about her was different from those people. At least to him anyway. He learned a lot about her in the short time that he knew her to put her in a different category from those people. ]

Yes, I know. You remind me time and time again, but it's not like we're all free of fault for the things we do, you know?

[ He replies giving her a look. He looked a bit taken back when she did that but the gesture was comforting in its own way. It makes him feel more like a friend to her.]

Yes, we should. I'll assist you in any way I can Lust.

Hm~ You're much too kind.

[It might sound a little teasing or condescending (because it kind of is), but she appreciates that steadfast loyalty just the same. Gluttony had adored her too while wishing for nothing, and he'd been one of the few creatures Lust even remotely liked. Mikleo is far more intelligent than Gluttony, though.]

[She turns in place, examining the softly glowing portals, then lifts a hand to point at one of them.]

Shall we start there?

I don't believe that I am but thank you.

[ He might still be embarrassed by her compliment. He's pretty optimistic about all of this to be honest. People may see Lust differently but he knows for a fact that she's been pleasant with him from what he remembered so he wasn't going to simply judge her for her past deeds as he stated before. ]

Certainly. Perhaps, we'll find some answers.
