Event || Revelations

Characters: All the Heroes of Light and their Moogles.
Where: Order's Sanctuary, The Interdimensional Rift and their Homeworlds.
When: August 03rd - August 30th

Summary: Following the battle against Palitutu, all the Heroes of Light were transported into the Interdimensional Rift. They were told by Palitutu they would have to find her to prove they can break the cycle-- But before they could reach their destination, a malevolent entity from the Rift stripped them from their immortality...

And now, they woke up in a decaying and dying world, most specifically in a place called Order's Sanctuary. From there they are ready to jump... Into their homeworlds! Feel free to use this post for the Mingle at Order's Sanctuary and should your homeworld be the stage for the Heroes of Lights' next adventures, feel free to make a thread for it and as many sub-thread as necessary! Please refer to the OOC Post for questions and plotting.

[Squall is somewhat startled when Yuri nearly runs into him and he takes a uncomfortable step back, eyes glancing at the strange looking dog creature at his side before looking back to Yuri.]

[Whatever was happening it looks like he’s not the only hero getting dragged into weird places.]

I’m guessing this happens often then?

[Seeing at this is the first time something so strange has happened to Squall since coming here and all. Blizzara waves to Yuri’s moogle with excitement.]

[ It's a good thing the two of them had good reflexes. It might have been awkward if he ran into the guy and all. Not that he was much bigger than Yuri or anything. He'd rather not start any unnecessary brawls right now-- even if he's plenty capable of being like that. ]

You go that right. Of all the weird stuff that happens, this seems to be a mild case with a bit more seriousness. Can't say I recognize your face. You new?

[ Yuri didn't seem to be bothered by it too much but there was definitely a certain tone in his voice as he said of all of those words sarcastically. ]

[Squall's eyes narrow and he gives the stranger a cautious expression. Was he taking any of this seriously?]

...Yes, I'm new.

[He didn't really find the need to include his name in whatever sort of introduction this was.]

If this is a mild case, I'd like to know what your definition of a worse case is.

[ He is but he's not the type to outwardly show it. It's been a long day for Yuri and he's not about to explain it to someone he didn't know either. ]

You're in for a ride then. I sure hope you're prepared for it.

[ He replied giving the other a small smile. Yuri didn't need it honestly if he didn't want to offer it. ]

We had the "Heroes of Light" murdering each other for the last month or something like that. Lots of dead bodies and lot of morbid stuff. The catch-- none of them were right in the head. Something was brainwashing them. Last October, we had some freaky reaper on the loose killing people. Honestly, I'd rather take the dimensional rifts rather than being chased and slaughtered.

[Yuri's explanation of worse really was worse. Squall feels the pain of his headache thicken and he reaches up to pinch the bridge of his nose to lessen the tension.]

I'll have to agree with you then. Strange dangerous rifts over murdering each other.

[Squall lets out a small breath and then looks around. There was no reason to stick around here, was there? Might as well venture out and try to find some more answers.]

Don't suppose you've tried going into any of those portals yet, have you.

[ He had no reason to lie about anything to be honest. Why bother with that when there is so much crap that he has to deal with on a daily basis? Honestly, he would rather the new comer know about the things that go on rather than being ignorant to all of it. ]

Yeah. The only problem is finding who our culprit is for the rifts. Unfortunately, even Repede can't pick up a trace of any human or non human scent. We're kind of left to our own devices.

[ He shrugs some as he closed his eyes. There isn't and they have to just leap into a portal or whatever. ]

Not yet. I don't know if that's a good idea to dive into the unknown but hey, if you want to try go for. Maybe I'll hang around with you until I figure out where the rest of my house mates are.

[Repede must be the name of the dog. He glances at it again when it's mentioned but doesn't give it a second thought after that.

He shifts, crossing his arms.]

No need, I'm leaving to look around. I'm not about to try a portal until I understand more.

[There was no need for Yuri to hang around he could go find his housemates. Squall would much rather he be without strangers around him. If something happened he didn't want to be held accountable or be relied on. So with a dismissive expression, he turns to leave.]

[ Repede just gives Leon a stare with the pipe in his mouth moving from one end to another. He didn't seem particularly interested in the other as Yuri seemed to be. ]

I'm curious though to see what this place is like too. Can't say I'm opposed to traveling with another person versus being on my own. Better in pairs and up than alone right?

[ This is Yuri insisting since he would very much like to figure out things and having people would be more helpful. ]

Leaving already? You're not the talkative type huh?

[Squall looks at Yuri from over his shoulder. No, he indeed wasn’t the talkative type. Or the team up type… Why did this always happen to him?

With a sigh and a slight roll of his shoulders, he nods.] Come along if you want, just don’t expect me to watch your back if things get rough.

[From his jacket collar, his little palm-sized moogle pops her head out. She peeks at Yuri and gives him a little wave hello.]

[ Because Yuri likes to be a bother to anti-social people? Nah, he just wants to make allies while he can and the man looks rather dependable. At least in his opinion at the moment. After finding people he could get along with was a bit tough. ]

I'm plenty capable so you don't have to worry about that.

[ He replied with a laugh ]

Yo, what's your name? This is Acrisius.

Yuri's moogle has been sitting on the dog that he's walking around with and he politely bows to the new moogle. ]

Pleasure to meet you Kupo.

[Squall seems satisfied with that response. So long as Yuri didn't expect them to be best friends they could have a temporary team up. See Selphie? He's making nice. Sort of. He nods.

When Yuri regards his moogle he turns and Blizzara pops out and flutters up into the air. She makes a frantic gesture at Squall and he sighs.]

This is Blizzara.

[She's too quiet to speak very loudly, mostly needing to be at your ear to hear her. She makes a happy peep when Squall introduces her.]

[ Nope, he's not expecting anymore of Squall than he's willing to offer. At least he knows someone that can fight. That will be nice. If only Yuri knew he was acquaintances of Selphie, he'd probably make this meeting worse.

In any case... ]

Pleased to meet ya.

[ He replied he grinned while Acrisius smiles a little to the other moogle. ]
