Event || Revelations

Characters: All the Heroes of Light and their Moogles.
Where: Order's Sanctuary, The Interdimensional Rift and their Homeworlds.
When: August 03rd - August 30th

Summary: Following the battle against Palitutu, all the Heroes of Light were transported into the Interdimensional Rift. They were told by Palitutu they would have to find her to prove they can break the cycle-- But before they could reach their destination, a malevolent entity from the Rift stripped them from their immortality...

And now, they woke up in a decaying and dying world, most specifically in a place called Order's Sanctuary. From there they are ready to jump... Into their homeworlds! Feel free to use this post for the Mingle at Order's Sanctuary and should your homeworld be the stage for the Heroes of Lights' next adventures, feel free to make a thread for it and as many sub-thread as necessary! Please refer to the OOC Post for questions and plotting.

Minfilia and Tataru-Open

"...ow."

That was the only thing Minfilia had to say as Tataru the moogle flew around the crystal knight in a panic, chattering away about how dangerous it was for her to suddenly get out of the hospital from stasis and jump into battle after a month. But it just came in high pitched squeaks and sniffling because she truly was worried about her Hero and friend. The woman frowned and squeezed the little moogle tight.

"I am sorry my friend. I just wanted to be some help to everyone." she spoke quietly just as she fell flat on her back, still holding Tataru in her arms.

"Minfilia!" Thancred can probably be heard from a decent way away as he storms his way to where Minfilia's lying on the ground. "Why did you even. I mean, you just woke up. Did you think you were 100% to jump into a battle like that!?" He huffed, angry but more worried about Minfilia's health than anything else. He was her older brother, anyway.

"What were you thinking?" He asked quietly, reaching to help her into a sitting position.

She had a feeling Thancred was not going to be pleased at her sudden disappearance from the hospital to where Ultima WEAPON was. But...she did and she managed to delay some of the injured from dying even if just for a little bit.

"...I could not just stand there and let others be harmed because of that woman." she spoke quietly, keeping her face looking down at the ground before her as he helped her sit up. "It was foolish but running away was not going to help either..."

Thancred sighed. He knew what her rationale was going to be, but it still didn't make him much happier about her running off.

"I figured. You aren't one to sit around when you can do something to fix a problem." He pulled her into a hug. "But you're still my sister, and I'm still going to worry. Even if you have all this armor."

They both worry each other sometimes but that's what family does. When he hugs her, Minfilia let go of Tataru as the moogle flew away to not be squished between armor and cloth, returning said hug to the other Scion.

"Before, I was unable to protect those I cared about. I could not do a thing in Ul'dah and I wished to not feel that again."

"I know, but please, don't risk your life like that again." He held her close, because at the moment, he'd been really worried he was going to lose her. He realized he didn't really know what he would do if he did lose her. Especially here and now.

She cannot make a promise that was impossible to keep; this wasn't the first time that she risked something so precious and this was a reminder of it. Being thrown into a new world without warning and with nothing but the clothes on her back. Except this time she can use her weapons much better.

Minfilia doesn't reply in words but grips Thancred much tighter than before.

K'pandolu skidded to a stop just in front of Minfilia, attempting to retain some portion of dignity as though she hadn't broken into a run the very instant she'd caught Minfilia's voice. Seeing Minfilia on her back made K'pandolu's heart squeeze, and in the next moment she dropped down beside Minfilia, checking her over for anything that might possibly be wrong. "Are you all right?" she asked, face pinched in worry.

She does have a few bruises but that was hidden under her armor but other matters were healed during the battle somewhat. The woman couldn't help but look a bit sad at the miqo'te worrying over her; she didn't mean to worry her friends honestly.

"Just a few bruises." she coughed out. "It is nothing compared to when Ultima hit." Now that was truly scary.

It's only to be expected that she'd worry about Minfilia, having seen her in the fight. She settles herself in a better position, reaching out to brush her fingers against Minfilia's hair.

"I'm glad," she said. "Gladder, too, that we made it through…" She paused, and added plaintively, "I wish you could have told us."

That she still felt bad about but would she and Thancred let her out if she spoke of going off to fight? More than likely no.

"I do apologize, my friend. I feared that there would not be enough to face our enemy in battle...she nearly got to us before our arrival in Mysidia moons ago. If it were not for Kalki, all of us would have parished...I did not wish it to be so those still among us."

Certainly not without great reluctance.

She lowered her head, ears dropping. She hadn't thought of that, but… she knew that feeling better than she'd ever wanted to. "I understand," she said. "I simply… I have no desire to lose anyone else again, as foolish as that may be." She reached for Minfilia's hand, edging as close as she could.

"Nay, it is not foolish to think that way." The Scion leader shook her head, smiling a little at the thought. Who does want to lose their friends? Kind of crazy if one actually does.

Seeing K'pandolu reach out for her, Minfilia managed to get in a better position and gently grasp an armored hand around the miqo'te's.

It wasn't quite the same as having Minfilia's bare hand, but K'pandolu wasn't going to blame her for not taking her armour off, after all that had just happened. She stroked her thumb over the glove anyway, beginning to feel better for it.

"I'm glad to hear you say that," she said, managing a smile. "I know that what we do can be dangerous, but… we can come through, can't we?"
