Characters: All the Heroes of Light and their Moogles.

Summary: Following the battle against Palitutu, all the Heroes of Light were transported into the Interdimensional Rift. They were told by Palitutu they would have to find her to prove they can break the cycle-- But before they could reach their destination, a malevolent entity from the Rift stripped them from their immortality...

And now, they woke up in a decaying and dying world, most specifically in a place called Order's Sanctuary. From there they are ready to jump... Into their homeworlds! Feel free to use this post for the Mingle at Order's Sanctuary and should your homeworld be the stage for the Heroes of Lights' next adventures, feel free to make a thread for it and as many sub-thread as necessary! Please refer to the OOC Post for questions and plotting.

It would seem so, unless this is all a dream or another vision.

[It was definitely an odd question, but it'd been an odd road and this wasn't the strangest thing to happen to them. Or perhaps it was. It was hard to tell at this point.

He leans back and gives the chocobo another pat as Mikleo acknowledges him.]

I think Zack got brought along because he was with us for the fight. I'm not sure how the moogles got dragged along. Maybe because of their connection to our jobs? I dunno.

Sorry. How are you doing? Are you okay?

I don't know what to make of it. So far, it doesn't feel like a dream. I've more or less tested that theory by pinching myself as people do when they are uncertain.

[ He crosses his arms some as he looks about Order's Sanctuary. It's such a weird and bizarre space that showed up. It almost reminded him of Hexen Isle but in a different manner. ]

Yes, I heard you were all in the middle of some fight. I'm afraid the details slipped me. It seemed like it was rather important and I was going to approach the location to find out what. I'm not entirely sure either. Muse came with me as we were in the Cafe moments before.

[ Don't mind the parfait in his hand. ]

It's alright. I'm fine. I don't feel strange or anything. What about you?

[Cloud is honestly pretty surprised about how spacy Mikleo is about this. Everyone was involved and preparing in this, or helping to defend the city just in case. This hadn't been a secret thing. Did he really not know?]

Palitutu wanted to meet us, and find out what it was we intended to do about the Calamity. She brought the Ultima WEAPON with her. It was never going to go without a fight and fortunately we had some warning for that. We beat her, but then she wound up bringing us here instead. I don't think she was ever planning to actually let it end peacefully.

[He sighs and shakes his head.]

I'm fine, just tired I guess.

[ He was too engrossed in other things like what had happened before this started. Especially when he was outright killing people without his own discretion. Mikleo was not the type to be flaky or unaware but the last event had hit him so severely that he had been flaky about the situation more than he should have. He knew that something was up but he had not gotten the memo completely.

Now he sort of feels terrible for letting his feelings control what he should have been doing-- preparing for a battle that was severely impacting and defending people the way he was supposed to. That definitely was a wake up call. ]

She doesn't seem to be the type that would let us simply get what we want without a fight. After all, she coaxed many of us to believe she was helping us and then leaving them all for dead. I'm afraid I have been entirely careless of the situation due to my own personal mullings. It seems like I've been more engrossed in myself rather than what was important. I'm truly sorry that I was not able to contribute to this. '

[ He tilts his head. ]

Would you like some healing? I can't say it will help much but perhaps if you have some sort of injuries it can be of use?

[Cloud waves his hand at the offer, but offers Mikleo a smile in reassurance.]

I'm fine. Other people got more beaten up than me in that last fight, and it looks like they're doing okay now too. For the moment I think we're all safe, at least as safe and well off as we can be, considering. All of this is just exhausting, more mentally than physically.

[Cloud himself had been busy with other things when the murders happened. Or else he was always in the wrong place at the wrong time, but that was perhaps for the best. He didn't know about Mikleo's involvement in the matter, and if someone were to tell him later he'd feel terrible about his thoughts right now.]

And yeah, you're probably right. The thing was I was hoping the fight we just had would be the one we needed to have with her. Not that she'd change the terms after we beat her. But don't worry, you don't need to apologize. Everyone has had things that they've been worried about. Just remember if you ever need help that we're here to help each other out...well most of us are.

[There's really no accounting for Deadpool.]

[ He returns the smile with one of his own as Cloud reassured him. ]

Indeed, it seems rather taxing for many in regards to their mental state. I can't imagine how pained some people are. If you see anyone that requires medical attention, please direct them to me. I would like to assist in any way I can.

[ It's not something he's trying to make public. Rather he wants to push it aside for something more positive than his own depression. He has to get himself back in gear and not falter. He has to be strong and fight for what he wanted. ]

It's painful to see so many be hurt by her involvement and her manipulation. It's must be frustrating to have to deal with that. Yes, I'm aware. Thank you, Cloud. Please allow me to assist you in any way I can as well for your kindness. Indeed, there are many Heroes of Light out there eager to assist each other. There are truly kind and gentle people here.
