Event || Revelations

Characters: All the Heroes of Light and their Moogles.
Where: Order's Sanctuary, The Interdimensional Rift and their Homeworlds.
When: August 03rd - August 30th

Summary: Following the battle against Palitutu, all the Heroes of Light were transported into the Interdimensional Rift. They were told by Palitutu they would have to find her to prove they can break the cycle-- But before they could reach their destination, a malevolent entity from the Rift stripped them from their immortality...

And now, they woke up in a decaying and dying world, most specifically in a place called Order's Sanctuary. From there they are ready to jump... Into their homeworlds! Feel free to use this post for the Mingle at Order's Sanctuary and should your homeworld be the stage for the Heroes of Lights' next adventures, feel free to make a thread for it and as many sub-thread as necessary! Please refer to the OOC Post for questions and plotting.

It was just a reading on the sphere-oscillo-finder until now. Yuna had never heard tell of any temple, sunken or otherwise, off the coast this far. But after a brief run-in with the fiend that guarded the entrance, she was breaking the surface of the water, inside the stone building that looked as though it had been untouched for years. Ten at least, maybe fifteen...

As she wrung out the hem of her dress and sleeves, she looked around, making sure those that had accompanied her were well and safe inside the murky cove. "I had never... heard of this temple before," Yuna confessed, moving forward to gently place a hand on the wall.

"So we're the first to explore in in a while?" K'pandolu shook off the last of the water on her and peered around, curious. "Perhaps we should take notes for anyone else who might be interested."

"That's what it looks like but these..." she's studying the glyph closer, quiet for a moment, then an idea hitting her. "Wait! These represent all the temples up until now!" Yuna's hurrying between pillars, confirming it and double-checking.

"Yes, this one is Djose, and here's Besaid..." she turned towards K'pandolu. "I wonder if it means an aeon somehow sleeps here?"

"The temples refer to each other, right?" K'pandolu hummed, rubbing her chin. "It could be. But we won't know until we look. So- shall we do so?"

Yuna nodded, eager to study the other pillars and what they might mean, proceeding further into the cavern. "K'pandolu... I remember what you told me about the aeons from your world, about the primals..."

She moved to keep in step with Yuna, casting the other woman a look. It had been some time since that conversation, but- it made sense that coming here and revisiting the summons of this world would bring it up again. "Mm. Was there something on your mind about them?"

"I just... wanted you to know, if somehow there is an aeon in this place," she glanced over, a soft look about her. "That you have nothing to worry about. Here, in Spira... they're our friends. Like in Crystallis."

K'pandolu missed a step, surprised, but righted herself quickly enough, and turned to look at Yuna more fully before smiling. "Thank you, Yuna," she said. "I appreciate the reassurance- I know it must be strange, to think of them otherwise…" She paused, and added, "I wonder why there is the difference, in any case."

The smile is returned, with a nod. While she couldn't imagine a world where it was commonplace to go against the spirits and beasts she had come to trust for so long, she didn't want K'pandolu to suffer any anxiety at the thought.

At the question though, she shakes her head lightly. "I'm not sure, I wondered myself if maybe— ah!" her boot catches on some of the debris as she tumbles forward. The distance she falls isn't enough to cause harm, but it is enough to take her off of her feet.

"Yuna!" K'pandolu made a short sound, darting forward to catch Yuna before she hit the ground. "Steady," she said, scanning the ground for whatever Yuna had tripped over. "If it's been abandoned… I suppose no one's been caring for it. We should tread carefully…"

She looked up, and frowned, ears flicking. "…If an aeon is sleeping here, will the lack of people have worried it?"

With K'pandolu's help she was able to avoid a collision with the ground, moving to rub her shin. "I have heard tell of aeons being taken away before. Perhaps if we could speak with her, then we..."

In bending down, something caught her eye. "Wait. What's... what's this?" lifting the sphere, Yuna's mismatched gaze widened as realization washed over her. It was the symbol of Besaid! With a sharp inhale, she looked towards her companion. "It's... a sphere!"
