Characters: All the Heroes of Light and their Moogles.
Where: Order's Sanctuary, The Interdimensional Rift and their Homeworlds.
When: August 03rd - August 30th

Summary: Following the battle against Palitutu, all the Heroes of Light were transported into the Interdimensional Rift. They were told by Palitutu they would have to find her to prove they can break the cycle-- But before they could reach their destination, a malevolent entity from the Rift stripped them from their immortality...

And now, they woke up in a decaying and dying world, most specifically in a place called Order's Sanctuary. From there they are ready to jump... Into their homeworlds! Feel free to use this post for the Mingle at Order's Sanctuary and should your homeworld be the stage for the Heroes of Lights' next adventures, feel free to make a thread for it and as many sub-thread as necessary! Please refer to the OOC Post for questions and plotting.

[She pulled out her Crystal and looked it closely. It was still white but it wasn't as bright as it was before. Selphie clutched it tightly to her chest, head dropping as the sunshine disappeared. She didn't like what was going on and was genuinely afraid.]

I felt this awful pain before blacking out and it's not the first time either...

[Jaelyn hovered close to her partner out of concern but opted to not say anything at that time. Maybe a piece of silent support would be enough to get the perky brunette to say what was on her mind.]

I felt it around the same time that Zelda died too. None of this is making any sense. First we can't die, now we can. I almost bit it twice on during that battle and yet here I am, perfectly healthy.

[She didn't move to take Yuri's hand and shrank in on herself.]

I don't like this. I don't like not knowing what the hell is going on. I don't like waking up in weird places after being attacked by some crazy magic spell.

[Selphie sighed heavily.]

If I ever meet Palitutu face-to-face, she's getting a piece of my mind!

[ Yuri noticed that with his Crystal too when he found himself here in this weird space. Of course, instead of mulling on the problem at hand, he was focusing on finding a solution to it all as usual. As difficult as things have gotten, he's not surprised that Selphie and others are behaving the way they are. ]

Not the first time huh? What do you mean?

[ He raised a brow at her comment wondering what she meant by that since it now has become quite worrisome for Yuri. ]

Right. That girl that was killed ...

[ He was shocked that he saw that he heard it from her mouth and confirming it on his own. Heroes of Light dying. That's something that he's never truly admitted bothered him until they didn't wake up. Man what a damn mess they all got themselves in. He's going to put a hand to his forehead for a moment. ]

Look there's no use letting it get to you. We're going to find an solution for this so we can't have you having a panic attack right now. I got both of our backs so let's figure out what's going on.

[ He understands how she feels but he doesn't want to make it worse for the both of them by chiming in on how he didn't like this at all. He's going to keep moving forward. He can't let his worries control the situation or let whoever did this get the last laugh. ]

That woman will get a piece of everyone's minds I bet.

[Selphie looks up at Yuri warily. She wishes that she could wake up from this nightmare situation that they've found themselves in before she's letting her head drop back down.]

Gimme a few...

Selphie...?

[Selphie considers the words of her friend seriously as she pulls in the reigns on everything that's been bothering her. It takes the girl a few moments to collect herself. There's so much more at stake than someone getting killed and Selphie knows this. She's aware of what's at stake if they don't stop all of this nonsense.

This is hitting far too close to home for her and it's a lot to take in. Regardless, Selphie's been through this before and she'll go through it again if she has to. She'd rather not, but she will if she must.]

You're right.

[Selphie looks up at Yuri and takes his hand to pull herself up.]

We've gotta find her and give her what for. We're the only ones who can.

[dammit_flynn]

[ Yuri didn't seem to change his gesture or his form when she said to give her a few. He waits for her patiently as she gets herself back together. It's something he's learned to accept with his friends. They aren't as easily to get over things as he can or they aren't as well off as he is in terms of hiding how he truly feels about the whole situation. In any case, he watches her quietly as she finally puts herself back together.

He can understand that a lot of this might be influencing her in the wrong way. Some things are trigger for people and Yuri knows his own triggers. This isn't a surprise to him that he's being triggered by the rifts and everything that is here. He's just not showing it outwardly so that Selphie doesn't get too worried and hurt even more. ]

Aren't I always?

[ He grinned as she finally takes his hand. The swordsman helps her up as he watches the rifts for a moment. ]

Right, but we need answers so we should carefully think about what we want to do with the woman.

[boomchucka]

[Selphie can usually roll with the punches but the battle with Ultima WEAPON had been more than a little overwhelming as she shoots a flat look at her friend. She admired his confidence and respected his level-headed decisions but he could be such a cocky shit sometimes that she couldn't help but be reminded of Seifer.]

I choose not to dignify that with a response.

[Selphie eyes the rifts herself as she kicks a small stone into the closest portal. She watches curiously as the stone disappears into the void.]

I dunno what to say about that... she seems pretty keen on biting it and I don't think she wants to talk anymore either. It didn't really work on the battlefield after all...

[ Yuri maybe cocky but his cockiness wasn't some superficial. Yuri was always fully aware of his own personality and knew what kind of person he was before anyone could judge him, He accepted himself the way he is and there was no denying that he had his own flaws. Yuri was just a bit more level headed when it came to serious decisions that required a lot of thinking. Thinking that could cost them more than just their sanity. ]

Just means you have no way of protesting my honest answers, Sunshine.

[ He chuckled at her words. He was happy to see her feeling a bit better. ]

Yeah but who knows? We might get her to spit out stuff we want answers for. You never know.

[Sometimes the only way to respond to Yuri's cockiness is with a scowl and a punch to the arm. Selphie wasn't particularly in the mood to be judging anyone as the scowl eventually changed to a thoughtful look. She hadn't seen Yuri in the thick of the fight but knew that he'd been there somewhere. Add into the mix that Selphie had run off ahead and gotten into a lot of trouble along the way and she wasn't sure what to think about the Tarutaru at this point.]

We can try but if she starts attacking everyone again then the gloves are off.

[Selphie may not be overly keen of watching people die or having to kill but something inside of her decided that this was one time where she'd have to brush those principles aside.]

If we hadn't been there, the whole city could've been in danger. It could still be in danger. But how do we get back there without know where these lead?

[ Yuri liked to make the mood better so her scowl was better than her other expression to him anyway. He'd gladly take any sort of beating from her given how he did try to make her feel better in the best way he could and that was being his usual self. ]

Well we're going to subdue her if she tries to hurt anyone. That's a fact. However, we shouldn't go overboard when we have a source of information. There are ways to make them squeak you know?

[ And Yuri would be that person that would do what he felt was necessary to get the answers he wanted. ]

We jump around until we figure it out. Sitting here trying to figure it out won't do any good for us to begin with.

[boomchucka]

[Selphie was growing up in her own way and if being more honest was a sign of that growth, she'd take it. Regardless, Selphie was more than a little too tired to be beating anybody but she gives him a grateful smile for the pep talk.]

Well, if we can spare her life, I think that would be better for everybody. Besides, maybe this time we can reason with her now that the WEAPON is out of the picture. As for making people talk... let's do it without having to torture someone okay?

[Selphie may have shuddered slightly after that mentioning of torture but she shakes her head lightly. That's part of her past that she can't change.

As for the portals...]

Soooooooo... Rock, paper, scissors to see who picks the first one or just pick one at random and hope we end up somewhere we don't have to fight our way out of or... we pick a number between one and infinity?

Just no more getting blown up.

[ He can’t blame her since he knows compared to him, Selphie was only a teenager still. She may be older than most but she was still young. It’s kind of what he got used to—being around people who were constantly younger than him. It seemed to be a trend. There’s only a few that are about his age or a lot older than him. ]

Nah I wasn’t thinking about torturing anyone but there are ways you can make them talk. Of course, death isn’t exactly too cruel of a choice but it’s too easy for someone that’s been causing us all sorts of headaches. Letting her die that way is too nice.

[ He replied with a shrug. ]

We’re seriously not going to do this are we?

[ He raised a brow. ]

We have no idea where we’ll land so it doesn’t matter what we do. We should just get started.
