Summary: Following the battle against Palitutu, all the Heroes of Light were transported into the Interdimensional Rift. They were told by Palitutu they would have to find her to prove they can break the cycle-- But before they could reach their destination, a malevolent entity from the Rift stripped them from their immortality...

And now, they woke up in a decaying and dying world, most specifically in a place called Order's Sanctuary. From there they are ready to jump... Into their homeworlds! Feel free to use this post for the Mingle at Order's Sanctuary and should your homeworld be the stage for the Heroes of Lights' next adventures, feel free to make a thread for it and as many sub-thread as necessary! Please refer to the OOC Post for questions and plotting.

[ Mikleo was standing in the middle of the plain with Muse holding onto his parfait that was half made in her small paws and Mikleo staring at the scenario wondering what the heck just happened. It didn't take long for him to dig into his bag and grabbing the book of compiled notes and sketches he started to gather information on the Order's Sanctuary.

The name was left blank as he quietly focused on writing down notes and appearances along with a sketch of what the area looked like. He didn't seem to be paying attention what was around him for too much but his guard was up and he was prepared to defend himself if necessary. However, he's completely distracted so calling his name might not work.

Eventually he moved a bit too close to someone and they bump momentarily and Mikleo accidentally knocks his book out of his hand along with almost tipping backwards into the person behind him. He stopped himself though and managed to apologize as he catches the pen and his sketch book. ]

My apologies, I seem to have been a bit distracted.

[ He replied giving the other persona genuine apology. ]

I hope you are not hurt?

[Selphie was tired and not paying attention when Mikleo bumps into Selphie. She landed on her rear with a disgruntled "oof!" before looking up at her assailant. Oh... It's just Mikleo. She was in the midst of a pout when she eventually shrugged her shoulders.]

I guess this makes us even.

[She did however spot that half made parfait and stared at it longingly. She's been fighting and she's starving!]

Foooooooood...

[ He looked a bit surprised to see her for a moment but he realized that she wasn't going to throw anything at him so he offered her a hand to get up-- well he tried since his brows scrunched together in a perplexed expression when he realized he was holding things in both his hands. He sets the staff down and offers that hand instead. ]

I wasn't trying to do it on purpose, Selphie. Are you alright?

[ He mused as she eyed his parfait that was half done. ]

Uh...do you want it?

[ Since she looked like she could use a meal. He offered it with his free hand, spoon and all. ]

[boomchucka]

[Selphie nodded as she accepted Mikleo's hand and pulled herself up.]

I'll live. It's my fault for not paying attention.

[Selphie's eyes light up at the offer of the parfait. She doesn't care that it's only half done but only that it's edible as she accepts the offering.]

Thank you! [She took a bite and closed her eyes in happiness.]

This is so good! But wait... [She examined the dish and sighed in defeat.] You must've been at the cafe. We can replace this when we get back. For now though, do you know where we are?

It's rather hard when you get spirited away to some foreign location without any warning.

[ He replies with a sigh as he pulls her up and nods his head. He didn't blame her nor did he reprimand her for it. Honestly, he can whip one up a lot faster than anyone really. He only needs the recipe and his abilities to do so. ]

[ He replies as he hands her the half made parfait. ]

I was testing it out for the cafe before this-- happened.

[ He replied with a slight huff. ]

It isn't much trouble to be honest. I can make it pretty quickly.

[boomchucka]

It's not like this hasn't happened before but it is annoying.

[She saw that sigh, Mikleo and your boss isn't having it.]

Hey, we'll get through this, you hear me?

[She smiled brightly at Mikleo, looking forward to the completed dish.]

When you make a full one, I wanna be the first to try it! But I'm pretty sure from the taste of the half made one that we're already adding it onto the menu.

[Her tone took on a matter-of-fact tone afterwards as she gazed out at the barren land before her.]

After we figure out where we are and how to get back to the city.

True enough. I suppose there can be worse things that will happen to us.

[ He looks off for a moment and yes, boss, right. He doesn't know how he feels about her being his boss. ]

I know. There's no point in making a scene about it, right?

[ He offered her a small smile for the words. ]

I'll be sure to give it to you first thing when we get back to where we need to be.

[ Well, he's happy she appreciates his sweets making skills. ]

Indeed. It seems like there are many portals but I don't know where they lead. It's however really odd for them to exist without some sort of force driving or creating them.

[boomchucka]

Yeah...

[Like the events of previous months but Selphie doesn't go into particular details.]

You're right but it still needs to be said.

[Moving on...]

Well, there's really only one way to know where the portals lead. You pick one and hop in it and see where you wind up.

[And this is where Mikleo gets to learn that Selphie may need a toddler harness.]

[ He doesn't really mention them either. It was better not to mention them at all. He would prefer to keep them in the down low so it would help his state of being right now. ]

Yes. It still needs to be said.

[ He gives her a look. ]

I don't think that's a wise choice not knowing where we'll end up. I don't think I should simply just leap into it. We don't even know if it's safe at all.

[ Selphie no. ]

[boomchucka]

Hmmmm...

[She regarded the portal curiously. On the one hand, she could just leap into it but on the other, Mikleo probably wouldn't let her hear the end of it. If only they had a rope or something to make into a rope they could've experimented with a rock or a weapon.]

Well, if we both went together that might work but even then we might get separated.

[Selphie frowned at the portal before her own moogle was perching itself between her shoulders.]

Or we could toss one of the moogles in?

S-Selphie! Don't entertain crazy thoughts like that.

What? There's a billion of them floating around and if they wind with other moogles then that isn't so bad.

[Or is it?]

I honestly don't know if that will work the way you want it to Selphie. These portals feel vague and unfamiliar. It's honestly not a good idea to try to go through them.

[ He places a hand under his chin as he looks at the portals curiously. There's a lot that he has to think about before jumping into the portal. He doesn't want to be messed up or get thrown somewhere unfamiliar. ]

That isn't an option. The moogles would be in more danger than we will be.

[ Mikleo shut her idea down as fast as she came up with it. ]

... This isn't what we should be doing.
