Characters: All the Heroes of Light and their Moogles.
Where: Order's Sanctuary, The Interdimensional Rift and their Homeworlds.
When: August 03rd - August 30th

Summary: Following the battle against Palitutu, all the Heroes of Light were transported into the Interdimensional Rift. They were told by Palitutu they would have to find her to prove they can break the cycle-- But before they could reach their destination, a malevolent entity from the Rift stripped them from their immortality...

And now, they woke up in a decaying and dying world, most specifically in a place called Order's Sanctuary. From there they are ready to jump... Into their homeworlds! Feel free to use this post for the Mingle at Order's Sanctuary and should your homeworld be the stage for the Heroes of Lights' next adventures, feel free to make a thread for it and as many sub-thread as necessary! Please refer to the OOC Post for questions and plotting.

The Weapon felled you, I think, but- [she reaches out to touch his arm before glancing briefly at the others around them.] All of us seem well enough now. Whatever did this must have had some grace.

As for where we are- I fear I've no idea. [she shrugs, ears drooping.] But it's not the void, which is some small comfort.

[Duster eyes the catte's hand. She feels solid, he's solid, so they should be alive. Just somewhere different.

He sighs in relief.] I guess it can't be all that bad if we're safe together.

[The white surroundings should be unnerving, but Duster rests his hands on his armor and scans the area calmly.]

You think Palitutu was sent here, too...?

Mm. If we stick together, I'm sure we'll find a way through.

[there is something calming about it, the longer she looks. Sika's still floating nearby, though she is eyeing one of those lines of light.

K'pandolu shakes her head, frowning.]

She said something about us finding her. She ought to be somewhere we can reach from here- but there's no doubt it'll be somewhere difficult for us to reach.

[Duster nods. K'pandolu stole the words out of his mouth.]

There might be a secret passage by those rocks. [HE holds up a finger by a group of pillars.] We can start by exploring the perimeter for clues and go on from there.

She nods, ears flicking forward as she considers.]

That makes sense- it's best to have a marker so you can find those kinds of things again easily, isn't it? Shall we?

Let's go.

[Spear in hand, Duster travels across the inner circle of the Sanctuary with the characteristic limp. If there was a tunnel even the largest of Heroes could pass through, a pillar or a large rock would mark the entrance. However, judging from his experience in Osohe castle, the floor might be a viable option. It could be activated with their crystals, it could be--

Right as he turns a corner, he sees a portal that was hiding behind the pillar.]

...I think that's it.

[K'pandolu matches Duster's pace, staying at his shoulder. She doesn't see anything aggressive yet, but she feels better for it.

She leans forward to get a closer look without approaching too closely, wary.]

It doesn't look as though there's anything to indicate where it might lead…

[and, while she has touched aetherial flows and the like for transportation in Eorzea, she doesn't want to just do that here.]

We should tell the others. If only to let them know that we're investigating it.

Right.

[Without looking away from the portal, he sidesteps away from the main gathering of Heroes. No matter the angle, the portal always looks as if it's facing them. Even for someone who doesn't get all this time and space travel science, Duster can tell they will end up somewhere drastically different.]

It might be our only way out, but we're going to do this together. [He glances at K'pandolu standing by his side and flicks his eyes toward the Sanctuary.] We better get moving soon.

[She almost doesn't want to do anything with it at all, tired and wanting more to curl up with her companions than go exploring- but it's the right thing to do. They have a time limit, after all, and as they've said- better together than alone.]

Mm. I… don't imagine it will take that long to get ready, though. [she doesn't have much more than what she had on her during the fight, and she doubts anyone else has much more.]
