Characters: All the Heroes of Light and their Moogles.

When: August 03rd - August 30th

Summary: Following the battle against Palitutu, all the Heroes of Light were transported into the Interdimensional Rift. They were told by Palitutu they would have to find her to prove they can break the cycle-- But before they could reach their destination, a malevolent entity from the Rift stripped them from their immortality...

And now, they woke up in a decaying and dying world, most specifically in a place called Order's Sanctuary. From there they are ready to jump... Into their homeworlds! Feel free to use this post for the Mingle at Order's Sanctuary and should your homeworld be the stage for the Heroes of Lights' next adventures, feel free to make a thread for it and as many sub-thread as necessary! Please refer to the OOC Post for questions and plotting.

[Oh...that's right. Some time has passed since Duster disappeared, and now he's shown up as if he forgot what had happened when he last existed in this world. When he returned to Tazmily after getting his memories back, no one really cared about his supposed crime of three years, and no one bothered to bring it up.

...He wonders if this is how he would have been welcomed back if he didn't get washed away in the river.

Fortunately, the villagers don't look upset, just confused. He's known the foul mouthed psychic long enough to stop and smile once he's withing speaking distance. It's best not to get too close to Kumatora just yet.]

...It's a long story. [He sticks his thumbs into his pants pockets. Hopefully he can clear things up before the rest of the group catches up and causes more confusion.] But I'm honestly, truly glad I'm finally here.

[Her stance relaxes, arms not resting on either hip as she gives a nod of her head in greeting.]

We've got plenty of time if you wanna' catch up, especially since it looks like you've brought company. I was beginning to think ol' man Wes was going to lose his mind about whether or not you were ok.

[She shifts atop her boots, looking back to the well in the center of the village. Her tone softens, going from her usual brash style to one of more concern.]

You're probably hungry, I guess. Tired, too. You look like you've been through a lot.

[Duster tenses, but he hides it by folding his arms and looking upward before returning to the conversation.]

Yeah...it's been a long day. A long several months, actually.

[Disregarding the recent battle, living in a slowly dying world was not good for anyone's mental state.]

I can help with cooking. It looks likes everyone here already has enough work to do.

[She walks past him, rapping him on the shoulder with a balled up fist as her way of saying "you've been missed". Her eyes widen for a moment, cocking her head to the side over the last statement he makes.]

Never figured you for a cook. I'm.. I'm not really good at doin' stuff with food. Carrying things on a plate I can do, but making it?

[She holds up her mitten-covered hands, laughing loudly as her boisterous voice hangs above their conversation.]

I'd say I'm butter-fingers but I guess it's more like I'm all thumbs, huh?

I can make a decent stew. [Growing up, it was easier to cook everything in a big pot at once and have it feed Wess and Duster for a week. That was basically all he knew, but it was better than nothing.]

Anyway...what happened when I was gone? All I remember was that cave shaking, and then it got dark.

[She's not quite sure where to even begin. Much had happened in the short time that Duster had disappeared, and in such haste that it was difficult for her to recall every detail. Still, the former Princess did her best to recollect all that had transpired after the final needle had been pulled. Familiar names and persons within Tazmily were mentioned, Flint's family and the fates of both Lucas and Claus. Parts of it were hard for her to speak of, not for lack of trying, but because of the memories and the weight of emotions that came with them.

When all was said and done they'd been speaking for what seemed like hours, to a point where it didn't seem like she would be stopping any time soon. It had been some time since she'd been able to yammer on and talk at great length about such things, and to have some one who knew her hardships and had been there through their strange journey made the tomboyish girl feel at ease.

She catches herself and stops mid-sentence, bringing a hand to her mouth before giving Duster a playful jab once more.]

-That's enough out of me! Damn. If I talk any longer I feel like my tongue might jump out of my mouth. Learn any new tricks since I last saw you?

[They were all alive. Everyone made it out okay. Kumatora, Lucas, Flint, DCMC, Lighter, Fuel, Wess...all of Tazmily. They're here. Duster relaxes with each piece of good news Kumatora gives. The Dark Dragon gave him a good scare, and while the knowledge that his world still existed gave him hope, seeing the truth for himself is the greatest gift.

He could listen for days.]

I missed so much while I was gone... [His smile falters. He missed out on the joy of realizing the world was reborn. He missed out on comforting his friends, helping Lucas grieve over Claus. He walks over to a newly erected fence and leans against the wood beams. He had been walking and fighting for days.]

When I disappeared...I was transported to another world. A dying world. We're supposed to save it. [He tilts his head at the newcomers.]

...And we're in the middle of chasing after someone who wants to destroy everything.
