Characters: All the Heroes of Light and their Moogles.
Where: Order's Sanctuary, The Interdimensional Rift and their Homeworlds.
When: August 03rd - August 30th

Summary: Following the battle against Palitutu, all the Heroes of Light were transported into the Interdimensional Rift. They were told by Palitutu they would have to find her to prove they can break the cycle-- But before they could reach their destination, a malevolent entity from the Rift stripped them from their immortality...

And now, they woke up in a decaying and dying world, most specifically in a place called Order's Sanctuary. From there they are ready to jump... Into their homeworlds! Feel free to use this post for the Mingle at Order's Sanctuary and should your homeworld be the stage for the Heroes of Lights' next adventures, feel free to make a thread for it and as many sub-thread as necessary! Please refer to the OOC Post for questions and plotting.

Ales kept his weapon up as the Scan returned results. The red was a major concern, though he had no clue what it meant. Albel would have to explain if it were related to this created world he lived in.

"Everyone!" he called when the numbers stabilized. "Be careful, this guy is strong!"

Before he could elaborate, before he could add in an attack on his own, his small body flung back from the force of the shot. In the split second he realized Azazer had targeted him, he reached for his chest in search of a wound. There was no blood. No torn clothing.

Only an awful headache.

He may be bleeding internally for all he knew, but that pain, that searing headache took all his attention away from the moment. Ales fell to the floor, let go of his weapon, and curled his arms over his head. He made no sound, but his tightly shut eyes twitched every so often.

"Ales!" Meredy called out as he crumpled to the ground, giving a sharp look to Azazer. She didn't know if it would help, but while the others were taking care of the physical attacking, she stayed in the back row, activating her Healing Program and casting it in the Teensie's direction.

Not sure if <i>Stealth</i> wore off or remained while he was shooting.

Fayt's attack provided perfect cover for Vincent's own. The Charge Shot aimed for whichever of the guards looked most wounded--ready to take him down. Followed up with Trigger Happy against the other guard. Moving, Vincent took the needed downtime after that to reload and moved to place himself between any reinforcements and their group. Activating Shunshin to be ready even more for counterattacks.

Sheena shot Yuri a look. "Another what? Jackass?" Azazer had done two things he shouldn't have: Laughed at Sheena, and hurt Albel. While she was protective of everyone, those closest to her were high on the list. And one of them getting hurt sent her anger soaring into rage territory.

And made her a better fighter.

Casting Guardian, Sheena uses Smoke Bomb to get behind Azazer and hit him with a Power Seal to lower his defense before Smoke Bombing right back out of there.

As Meredy will find, Ales has lost no HP. The headache does fade, but it will be slightly more difficult to use skills, as if it's just harder to focus.

Azazer took a defensive stance, but it was useless against Yuri's charge. He was knocked back, skidding across the floor. The seal was slapped against him before he could rise, looking flustered and upset. "How can they do this?" he shouted. "Those are not programmed skills!"

The guard struggling with Mogdelina was thrown into Fayt's attack, then took the Charge Shot straight in the chest. He dropped to one knee, still holding onto his rifle but looking considerably more hesitant about this battle. The second guard flailed as he was hit repeatedly by Vincent's rapid volley of bullets. Even with his body armor, he was winded, only able to shoot a stream of bullets Vincent's way because of the time the Gunner needed to reload. The third guard was lucky, only managing to dodge the previous attacks from being knocked to the ground by Albel. He scrambled to his feet, shooting a stream of bullets at Yuri.

"You need to stop moving!" Azazer growled, seeing Sheena reappear from her smoke bomb. He adjusted his glasses and aimed his gun. "Crystal Prison!"

Sheena is frozen for the next round. Guardian Shield remains active for any damage taken.

"You worm!" Albel roared. He stubbornly covered Sheena with his own body and began to cast again, energy gathering at his fingertips. "Aura Wall...!"

"Sure-- jackass! We'll go with that!"

Yuri shouts back to Sheena as he focuses on the party and their attacks. It seems that even with the assaults, there was barely if any HP loss. He's not okay with that but he's pretty damn well pleased that the bastard skidded at his assault.

"Sorry to break your bubble, but we're not robots with programs."

He prepares himself to throw another attack, but he gets assaulted by bullets first. Of course, Yuri takes that chance to dodge as many as he can while getting hit and scraped by a few. Good this his job is made for stealth and movement. He counters with Azure Edge in hopes of at least getting the enemy so he can boost his stats.

Ales kept a firm grip on his forehead as the some of the pain subsided. He didn't dare move quickly in the case that the headache would flare up again. It took some convincing from his body that he wasn't at risk of dying to finally open his eyes.

The light stung the back of his eyes, but removing his hands did not make it impossible to move. His head still hurt, yes, but Meredy had preventing him from being completely incapacitated. Ales rolled onto his front and crawled towards the healer.

"Watch out for that thing," he muttered as he pushed himself up and adjusted his weapon. The battle scene swirled in front of his eyes. "Something's going on with that fellow. The information I received was all in red, and that can't mean anything good."

"All.. red?" Meredy didn't exactly know what that might imply, but she didn't much like that her magic was nearly useless against such an attack that seemed to incapacitate one of them like that... If healing didn't work, then how could they defend against it?

Well, for now, sometimes offense was the best defense, right? "Then, what about this? Seal Evil!"

Vincent was glad anew for the speed and agility the ninja-job afforded. Going Invisible once more, as he reloaded. Between Shunshin and Transience even in the corridor he was far more difficult to hit. Moving unseen and continuing to focus on the second gunman, swiping out with the wicked claws of his gauntlet at the man's face.

If he'd be able to enact a point black shot, that'd be helpful as well, but his main goal was to knock the gunman off balance.
