Once the Military Headquarters was under control -- or at least not on the verge of crumbling at any second -- Jade had hurried to provide support at the Coliseum. Its position made for a perfect target for the enemy mages; should the fire spread, there would be no stopping it fast enough to prevent countless civilian casualties.

As the battle stretched out and the night turned into a day, Jade had no reservations about shouting orders at the Esdham soldiers while he focused on casting water spells on the burning buildings. The fact he wasn't a superior officer was not raised -- there simply was no time to. The waves of Imperial soldiers were relentless, and more than once Jade was forced to halt his casting to defend himself. His Dragoon abilities would keep him alive, but time spent fighting meant less time putting out fires.

The Coliseum was like a veritable magnet amidst the chaos-- it was a large building that everyone flocked to, a clear liability to everyone should it fall or be captured. Guy, equipped with his Paladin gear, was more than prepared to stand well enough on his own...but, he couldn't do much else besides keep the enemies at bay with all of the skills that were available to him.

His movements were slower than he was accustomed to, but the defenses of his armor more than compensated for any losses. But, amidst the coordination and strategy that the enemies seemed to be using, it was clear that he couldn't simply act on his own.

"Crescent Moon!" Two imperial warriors fell before his spear, but the victory was short-lived. The Gunner behind them had seized the opportunity to take aim and fired.

Jade jumped, quick enough to avoid a bullet to the head -- yet not quite quick enough to escape unscathed. He hissed at the sharp pain in his side. A Charge Shot, by the feel of it. He had little choice but to ignore the wound for now, as the Gunner was already joined by another Warrior, blocking Jade's path to the ranged enemy. Tricky.
