Terra was surprised to see someone trying to attack her, focused only on the fire that roared in front of her. She cast blizzard and then water using the combo to diminish the fire bit by bit while stopping it from spreading to the rest of the town. Her eyes are wide as Kairi engages with the enemy.

“Okay.” She will keep up her casting but she can’t help but cast worried glances over to Kairi. She only knew the girl a little bit but she didn’t want anything happening to her.

Terra watched Kairi move noting her skill with the sword before casting once more at the flames.

Kairi made sure to keep her distance, not using any of her abilities to take care of it. She just wanted to use her own skill. But she know knew how to lower attack and things anyway so didn't see much of a point as she managed to cut the guy down, feeling a small sense of accomplishment in the act. It seemed like she was getting better.

Giving the small break she had, she glanced back to see how the other was doing. She could tell that she was getting through it and that was a good thing. "Good... Keep up the good work."

Her focus was on the fire and flame that danced in front of her but she couldn't help and glance back at the girl who so skillfully defended her as she worked. Mages still cast their flames across the city and Terra only hoped that they would make it in time.

"Are you alright?"

Her voice was gentle and quiet but still managed to carry to the young girls ear. Her blue eyes reflected the glow of the fire as she looked back casting foreign shadows across her features. Her hands were still held out in front of her and her efforts continued to be persistent.

"I'm fine." She was more than happy to try and keep fighting. She might have only been hit once or twice but she was more determined to help out as best as she could.

She glanced behind her looking over at the other before looking up. She had started to wonder if it would be the better idea to take care of the people who keep causing the fires and then put them out.

"Terra. Do you know where the people who start these fires are? Maybe we should take care of them."

She felt her spell falter for a moment before she continued casting once more. Her hands lowering slightly at the thought of those starting the fires. "There are Black Mages starting the fires. I saw them traveling down the west side street a short while ago."

Terra wasn't sure what else to say. She didn't feel like she could cast her spell on another person after the terrors that she had face in her dreams but if it meant saving the town she had too. Didn't she? She could still hear those screams at the fires started by her own hand.

She shook her head trying to banish the thoughts from her mind. "They might be to strong for me.." Her voice trailed into silence as she glanced back towards the fire.

Kairi had decided to look around for the moment where there was no one to fight. There were Black Mages she mentioned. Maybe it would be best for her to go and deal with that first, but yet at the same time she didn't ant to leave the other alone while she was putting put the fires.

It was a difficult choice but she had chosen to protect those she cared about and considered a friend first and then deal with the Mages later. She soon spotted another monsters coming towards her as she got ready to attack.

"How much of the fire is left?" She asked turning her head slightly as she did.

Terra shook her head.

"I'm not sure. I think we have contained it at the very least. I know others are working from other locations as well." She wasn't usually one for many words but when it came to battle she had the predisposition to give Kairi a report. It felt strange like it was something she has only heard but never done herself.

Her eyes shifted over the torrent of flames before she gave a soft sigh. "You go." With that she stepped towards the fire her focus renewed because of the help of her friend.

Kairi paused slightly for a moment. The other seemed rather tough and could handle herself, but yet at the same time she really didn't just want to leave her friend behind to even get the possibility of getting hurt. She wouldn't allow no matter what.

"I assume that means you will be staying here? But what if someone were to come?"

"I will be fine." Her voice was its usual gentle calm tone but she felt determined. She couldn't let the city burn when there was so much fire in her memories. At least here she could fight against it.

Terra turned away from Kairi and began to walk towards the flames. She didn't waist time and quickly began casting. Magic was something that she knew, something she could be comfortable with. Magic was part of who she was.

Kairi couldn't help but smile slightly. She had to admire Terra's determination. It was something she was hoping she could do more herself in the future. But she knew at least she had her trust in knowing she would be able to handle herself should anything come her way.

"Okay, I wish you good luck." Kairi said as she looked over towards the direction she was planning on taking. For now all she had left to do was head off and deal with the people caused the fires in the first place. It was her way of helping those that couldn't help themselves.

So with a resolved she headed off, hoping things would be okay here.
