[he paused for a moment, lowering his bow before he placed a hand on his cheek only just realizing he might have been cut. It didn't seem to phase him all that much.]

Ah, this isn't so bad. I've had worse. [He just pretty much laughs it off. Before looking over.]

I'll pretty much be fine, it's just a cut. [He moves to grab another arrow, he was keeping an eye on his surroundings still. The fires didn't seem like they would calm down any time soon. That wasn't good.]

I'm can't use magic in this world so all the abilities I have are that of an archer and chocobo knight... So I'll be more of use in helping this people and keeping the enemy at bay.

[He spotted another one from high up as he quickly used aim to improve his shot from this distance and fired. This time though he only managed to hit the guy in the shoulder, but it at least made the guy drop the weapon.]

[She reaches her hand out, casting Cure automatically, her healing instincts taking over before she can stop herself.]

There are beasts that are attracted to blood running around. Let's not give them reason to attack you specifically.

[She looks around at all the civilians behind her and sighs.]

My own abilities have been lessened coming here, sadly. If the Colonel was here, we'd at least be able to put some of these fires out. [She can hear the Imperial soldiers and she really hates that they're so close.] As is, we might need to use you as a distraction so that I can get the vulnerable women and children out.

[He had to admit being able to cast healing spells seemed kind of a good thing to have, but he always knew he was never capable of learning such things both at home or in this world. It was a shame really, but he knew it had only been a small gaze and nothing serious.]

I think I would have fine with that, at least they would have focused on me instead of innocent people. [He paused as he said that though. He shouldn't really risk his life that willy nilly, Kurogane would hit him if he caught him saying such things anyway so all he could do is chuckle.]

But I understand. It wouldn't be a smart idea. Thank you.

[He looked around, he could hear them getting closer.; his bow ready for any and all action that he might have to get involved with.]

But I guess I can try and give it a go so long as I don't actually die.
