Having to deal with three warriors most certainly tested Sephiroth's waning focus to the point where he didn't dare look anywhere else but the slashing blades going on all around him. Didn't dare to try to extend his spacial awareness beyond the parameters of his own stance. The silver-topped warrior was already tiring after over a day-straight of fighting with little to no real rest.

As one fell, another two joined the group. Then as another fell, another came to replace him. Sephiroth kept going even as his arms burned with the effort, and a hot throbbing rod of pain seemed to be growing throughout his posture. He hissed in a sharp intake of breath as a lucky -if powerful- downward slash connected with his shoulder plate loudly and a moment later the armor cracked and fell away. Quickly, he readjusted his tactic to take into account the weak spot that was opened; keeping the blades met up over his head while he spread his stance to-

A well placed fireball smacked that particular offender back and Sephiroth took his chance to retreat a step and slash long horizontally across the middle of the line of soldiers facing him. They hadn't been expecting that, neither had it been really a tactical move but all three remaining buckled before him. A strong kick to the head of one of them delivered the final killing blow.

"-Ngh." He grunted but fought to swallow it, chancing to glance then back at Terra as that wave were finished. Suddenly the state of the inferno in this section of the building caught his attention.

"Lets get some of these fires out. I'll-" He paused to swallow that sick feeling creeping up his throat instead of spitting it out. "-I'll cover you."

Terra’s arms feel to her side once her spell had hit the soldier. Her gaze flicked between the silvered haired warrior and the burning building. She used to be able to cure but that ability had been taken from her the moment she awoke in this new world. Her heart sank as she turned towards the fire throwing spells at its blaze while turning away from the soldier.

"Okay."

He didn’t look like he was holding up well but he had said to keep working and that was what she was going to do. Her focus stayed on the roaring flame as she stifled it praying that the man behind her would be able to stay safe in his fight.
