I don't have the faintest idea.
[She perked at the sound of the automated voice. She reached over to help Ales out of the sink.]
They have automated robots here too? I suppose we are the intruders, which is odd given we were called here. I can fight them off if need be, anyone else?

Might be some kind of error in it's programming. I can help with fighting too. Anyone else got thrown in here besides us?

[And, just like that, he'd found himself, briefly, surrounded by black. Mr. Lucky, here, happens to land on -- quite obviously -- the best place to land within any bathroom setting: the toilet.
Clenching his teeth together, the redhead attempts to suppress a groan...Oh, and he attempts pretty damn hard, at that. Unfortunately, a person's fall being broken via a toilet seat to the elbow (well, more precisely, the not-so-funny bone) is quite the experience. But, even as a low, hiss-like groan manages to slip free, he's moving to his feet. Clamping a hand over his elbow, he notes, within the back of his mind, how close he'd come to smashing his face or head into that thing. Painful miracles are still miracles, at least. Well, either way...
He's immediately distracted, from the pain, by the fact that he doesn't see Ion (but, then...Ion hadn't been all that close to him, as the beam hit). Then, by the sound of -- not only one voice...no -- several voices. So, he's...most certainly not alone. He happens to catch the end of the conversation. Stepping out of the stall, he's quickly searching the room. Well, more like, he's checking for a very specific person -- the one he'd been with, just prior to appearing here.
Lowering his hand from his elbow, he gives a firm nod to the one asking if anyone else could fight. He waits until the other female finishes speaking, before adding:]
I can fight, too...

Once inside, he conducts a quick sweep of the surroundings. His guard is already raised, when he hears the warning overhead. Upon spotting a group of individuals moving throughout the shadows, he cautiously steps toward them.
It's ingrained in him to take charge and give orders to a group of soldiers, being a leader back home. But they're all of equal status here, and Gaara holds his tongue, listening quietly to the others speak. One voice is startlingly familiar... His gaze rests on the other redhead, for a moment longer than usual.]
I can provide offensive and defensive support. [Gaara announces as he approaches them, grip tightening on his long staff.] We need to plan a strategy, as well as a formation, if possible, prior to beginning our infiltration.

[He sits on the edge of the sink, hands resting on face while he thinks. As confident as he was with basic robotics, he wasn't familiar with the magitek they used in this world. Mimi had better been correct about the Crystal's Jobs giving him the extra boost.
He looks over his companions, all dressed in fighting jobs. If all else fails, he can depend on them to distract the enemies while he looked for a way out.]

[She was First Class for a reason, after all. While she wasn't always the one giving orders, she had before. But she also didn't want to assume these people who are of equal footing as she is to also not listen because of their pride.]
I think that should work for formations. I have yet to see the robots, however, so I'm not sure what could be suggested for strategy. Anyone want to chime in?

[ Saori looks at her own moogle, Brigid, who's looking a little miffed at the idea. And honestly she wouldn't want to drag any of them in if they really didn't want to fight. This would've been so much easier with her powers. ]
Brigid, I'm not asking for you or the others to pick a fight and I can jump in to bail you out if needed. Just a simple peek so you know what we're going against. I mean, you could always pretend to be carrying some mail to avoid suspicion.

...Go figure he'd had the same idea as the Thief, in responding to the request for help. Kind of. He wouldn't have just rushed off, damn it.]
Hey... [Stepping towards the White Mage, he does nothing to hide that he's...a little pissed.] You could've told me you were coming here, you know! [And then he's muttering in a much lower tone, a bit of a grumble escaping with those words.] You had me worried...
[Thanks to the whole thing with people turning into crystals, he can't help but worry a little more. Then, he's blinking as he recalls they're not...alone. Turning towards the others, he speaks with his arms folded over his chest.]
Uh... sorry. [Since right now is not the time for
soap opera drama?all that.] By the way, my name's Luke. This is Gaara. [He says that while putting a hand on the ninja's shoulder. To the one who mentioned the idea for a formation.] Actually, I think it might be best if we create a triangle formation. The strongest of us would travel in the front, and then the second strongest would walk behind those who are strictly magic users, ranged fighters, ...or simply not the fighter-type. That way, the ones with the weakest defense aren't left vulnerable to an attack, from behind.[Lowering his arms to his sides, he looked to the one in the sink.] Maybe you could travel towards the front, but behind the strongest fighters. That way, you're protected while you work.
[To the one mentioning the moogles, he gives a nod.] If they're not comfortable with that, I don't mind going. I'm not physically strong, but I'm part of the Thief Class, so I'm pretty sure I can move quick enough to be able to avoid being seen. [He smiles, softly, wondering how Ion's holding up without knowing where he is.] That's just a suggestion, though...

Karura wasn’t available to send a letter, at the time. [He responds to Luke in a cool tone, while keeping his attention mainly focused on the rest of the group. He isn’t trying to be dismissive, but he doesn’t want to hold a personal discussion in front of strangers.] It wasn’t my intention to worry you.
[He waits until everyone gives their input, before adding his own.] Given the number of available warriors, we can separate into two groups, to conduct more exploration in a timely manner. Reconnaissance would be helpful, time permitting. It is preferable to have the skill sets evenly divided, as much as possible.
[Gaara briefly glances at the Moogle, who had been referred to as Brigid, by their Hero companion.] Since your Moogle is incapable of combat, that type of task carries an unnecessary risk of danger. It would be an inefficient use of resource.
[From the clothing, he could make somewhat accurate guesses on what Job Classes each one of them is. Fortunately, he isn’t the only one with healing capabilities. There seems to be a fairly decent balance between offensive and defensive techniques.]

I'll need a fighter or a skilled healer to go with me in case we run into trouble immediately. Once we give the okay, or if we're attacked, the second group can follow.
no subject
Essentially, one group will be without a healer. Saori and I are the stronger fighters, if I have my classes right, so perhaps whomever can heal go with Ales as he has no abilities currently. We don't need three fighters in one group so how about one more fighter to join Ales' group as well?
[It was honestly hard to tell as clothes didn't always tell the whole story, but this seemed to be the better pick.]

[In truth, he's just more worked up, than usual, due to the situation. While giving a sigh, he reaches to scratch to the back of his head. He doesn't, necessarily, disagree with the idea of splitting up. Thing is, though, it's not something he and his party had done a lot of, back in his world. What he doesn't like...is leaving a group minus a healer.]
Alright...If you're sure you'll be okay. [He pauses, a moment, and then steps towards the woman closest to him -- Saori, apparently. After reaching into the small bag he carries, of supplies, he hands her two of the potions he's managed to acquire (perks of being a dedicated member of the Thief Class).] Here. Even if you have some, more can't hurt, right? You never know, after all...
[Whether she accepts it, or not, he's going nod from Ales, to Gaara.] Alright, let's go. [And, then he's heading over to the door. Once there, he'll be lingering behind to wait for the Scholar.]
