[While this was her first experience with infiltration, Tear knew no two missions were alike. This was all the more true now that she had to go in with power she was still becoming used to, which is why she has no reservations about teaming up with others in order to make the most of the situation.]

Selen... [Even though they were still some ways from the camp, she was already keeping her voice soft as she approaches the other woman.] Have you already a plan in mind for your approach?

[Why else would she be smiling if she weren't so sure?]

[ Ah, just the girl she needed to see. Only not really. Selen wasn't expecting anyone, but having another person to help her out would be pleasant. She's not sure if what she has is a plan. She's going to roll with it as much as she can before she decides it's not the best choice.

However, she did greet Tear with a bright smile as usual. ]

Hello to you-- Tear was it?

[ She replied with a brief smile on her face. Their meeting was a little awkward to Selen, seeing they were exploring a castle of sorts. However, it seemed like she got a chance to speak with the girl at the moment. ]

Somewhat. It's more like what I want. We can always get in quietly. There are guards near the rear we can take out and burrow their armour, however there's just the idea of charging in and surprising them. Wouldn't that be fun too?

[ Selen no. ]

[cantante]

It is. [However... Fun? The look on Tear's face is perplexed, wondering just what methods Selen preferred. Yes, they were all viable options, but to try something so reckless...]

Maybe... we can save the charging in for when we're deeper inside. [She trusted her, but at the same time knew her own abilities were so limited.]

Borrowing their armor seems like a better idea.

[wings_of_steel]

[ Selen was a bit reckless that way, but she was going to let Tear voice her thoughts. Selen was overly confident in her abilities and that had never really changed. She would continue to be reckless but with Tear's opinion, she nodded her head. ]

I like that idea. Two plans into one. Now then, shall we get a little friendly with the guards?

[ She replied with a smile. ]

I've only seen some of your abilities, but before we dive in, what other skills do you have, Tear?

[cantante]

[F-Friendly? Excuse her while she blushes for a split second, did she really have to put it that way?]

Only the skills granted to me by the Red Mage and Bard jobs. About two months worth, and to my understanding the latter is still relatively new.

[She would have liked to have had more time to practice using both in conjunction, but no time like the present was there?]

[wings_of_steel]

[ Oh no why are you blushing? She doesn't mean anything bad by it! ]

I have skills of a Paladin and a Dark Knight. In short, I'm pretty much useless everywhere else except brute force.

[ She chuckled, but of course she was good at being strategic with her brute force. ]

I see. Well, I'm rather used to both jobs, unfortunately one is a bit more experienced than the other. I am sure we can figure out something together.

[ She added as a positive note to their current situation. Not at the moment, no. It seemed like they're going to be working a little hard on this. With that being said, Selen makes her way towards the camp while ushering Tear to follow silently. ]

[Doesn't Selen realize that she is a blushing maiden? Not that she intends to come off that way, with the determined look in her eyes and the way she squares her shoulders.]

Brute force may be what we need in the end, but I wouldn't want you to do the brunt of the work on your own. [Otherwise, she might be more a burden than help as she follows along in stride.]

... If we can find decent cover, I could attempt Bio. [And if not that, then she had her voice to boost her abilities.]

[ Blushing maidens are cute and pretty to look at. Except, Selen's not really a delicate woman so those kinds of expressions only earns a teasing from her if anything. Selen definitely liked that look she had in her eyes. ]

Yes, but I need someone to distract too so you won't be out of things to do. Your classes are useful, if not more than that.

[ She replied chuckling. They were on the move and eventually, the camp is seen. Selen keeps them hidden enough so she could survey what was going on. ]

Bio would be a lovely thing to utilize. That would leave them stunned for some time.

[cantante]

Then it's the role I'll fulfil to the best of my ability. [There's a small smile on her lips; it wasn't the most ideal position to be in, but she still had some magic to try and keep her distance as her ability with the sword improved.

She takes a good look at the camp, scouting for other options.]

Then whenever you're ready, I just hope we can also attain uniforms without too much trouble.

I think you will be fine. Don't worry about it too much. I'm sure we will be able to do this together.

[ Selen mused with a smile as well. She had belief that they would make it through this mess. After all, it was right to assume so since they sort of worked together for that investigation.

Selen wasn't a magic user, so having someone that specializes in something other than swords was useful to her. ]

I sure hope that will be the case. Here I go!

[ She chimed, before she dashed towards the base first. ]

[Dashing— Tear almost wants to call after her to wait, they didn't have a plan entirely cemented, but if she did then the only guarantee was that they would have imperial troops rushing upon them. With a somewhat exasperated sigh she follows suit, catching up fairly easily.]

Just let me know where you want me to aim. [And a better signal than just rushing in would be much appreciated.]

[ Selen somewhat knew what she as doing and she was moving when the guards were not paying attention at all or caught up in their conversation. She hid herself on one side of the wall as she peeked over, to see what they were doing. There were also things they could use as well, but how to cleanly get them was a good question. ]

Hmmm…

[ She turned to see that Tear had followed her well. Sorry, Tear, she was a bit impulsive but she knew what she was doing for the most part. ]

Let’s see. We need to find a good way to snatch the guards that are mostly stationed where the entrance is so we can get in. However, there must be others around the entrance either. We could try the back but I feel like it’s guarded too. I wonder if we can find a way to snipe them without getting caught.

[cantante]

[As impulsive as Selen is, Tear keeps up with her easily. However, she's always looking back to the area they just left, too, watching for any patterns in the movement among the troops. They may be able to enter just fine, but they would still need to find their way back out.]

The back might be a more viable option, if they are looking for anyone who might infiltrate. There are bound to be more troops stationed there in that event, but we can hardly take the ones in the back lightly, either. I still have magic at my disposal to take out any of them as long as you cover me.

[wings_of_steel]

[ It made Selen more excited to see that someone was keeping up with her. The men she worked with always complained about how they never could keep up with her movements. Some of them were much faster than her too, but they struggled to keep up with her regardless. ]

Perhaps, the security would be thinner for us to do that. I can definitely back you up with my abilities. That is a given. I trust you have good aim?

[cantante]

[At this, Tear allows herself a small smile. Her instructor had told not so long ago that she still had a ways to go, but...]

If I couldn't, I wouldn't have offered. [And it just so happens that she does have some knives on her person, if they wanted to go that route.]

[wings_of_steel]

[ Ah, there's a cute smile. Selen was happy to see that. ]

That sounds wonderful. I will be looking for your guidance from now on, Tear.

[ Selen replied with a bright smile on her face. ]

I suppose the first thing to do is to aim for vitals. Anything that can either knock them out or kill them in one shot. We don't want them squealing. If they start squealing it will alert the others and our plan would be useless.

[cantante]

[Vitals? It seemed simple enough, and already her hand is drifting to the holsters in which she kept her knives, hidden beneath the fabric of her job clothing.]

And if one of them does, between the two of us we should be able to silence them at once.

[Yes, it might be preferable to avoid casualties altogether, but their mission was far too important for feelings.]

[ Tear was right. There was no time to be sentimental now. It was a killed or be killed battle field. Both of the women knew that. ]

I'll take them out if they squeal. You focus on the knives if that's alright?

[ Selen wanted to trust that Tear could aim well but at the same time it was better for Selen to be the incoming attacker should their plan fail. Seeing, Tear would be at a disadvantage with her position if she's trying to use stealth to kill them. Selen didn't want to put the other in danger, even if Tear was capable of dodging and fighting back. ]

[cantante]

[With a small flick of her hand the knife slips comfortably into her fingers, ready to strike as the young woman nods. It was now or never.]

Then let's go.

[She can already spot a few choice targets, motioning to them and awaiting Selen's approval. The whole operation would be moot if they weren't coordinating with each other.]

[wings_of_steel]

[ Selen got herself ready to pounce the minute they fail. ]

Roger that. Let's go, Tear.

[ She quietly added and making good eye contact with Tear to show how on the page she was with the young woman. ]

[cantante]

[As soon as she has the okay she throws the first knife, her strike being true as the first soldier stumbled a few steps before falling. One down, on to the next.

They would still have to move in closer, given it was already tricky to hit their enemy amidst their armour. But as Tear just demonstrated, it could be done.]

[ Selen watched as Tear took down the first soldier without too much effort and she followed with Tear until the second one. Of course, she kept her distance as close as she could to the other woman to make sure she had time to bounce when she was needed. Of course, Tear had pretty good aim. She could see how that was doable but Selen's aim was probably not as accurate as Tear's.

If they weren't in stealth mode, Selen would have commented on how well she aimed. ]

[cantante]

[Any compliments could wait until they were done, Tear still striking key soldiers and recovering what knives she could as they continued. Now was when Selen might have to come into play...

Motioning to the other woman again, she gestures with a quick jerk of the head toward the small number of soldiers now waiting at the gate. Passable, but it would take a coordinated effort.

So she gestures to her lips, hoping she could communicate her message enough: she would sing for her, if she charged forward.]

[ That was how it goes anyway. Selen knew better than to act out of her mission right now. Selen watched her back as she steered her way through the soldiers and collecting her knives. Selen was indeed she came across Tear. The woman was very talented in many ways.

Selen looked over towards Tear. There were many soldiers at the gate and Selen didn't like that. Her expression became a bit grim, though a smirk still lined her face. The woman turned to see what Tear was trying to communicate to her. The way they made eye contact was pretty obvious. It was her time to get through them.

The former general gave a brief nod and waited for the signal to launch herself at the soldiers. ]

[Knowing that they were now in agreement, Tear releases a slow exhale. She doesn't close her eyes as she normally would, because right now it was crucial that she be aware of every one of her surroundings at every moment.

Raising the sword she was still getting used to, she points it toward the soldiers. This was her signal to begin, and if it wasn't emphasis enough then she would follow it with the first notes of Battle Scene.]
