Who: Everyone!
What: A week late Halloween celebration.
Where: The Observatory
When: Friday, Nov. 6, 7:00 PM
Warnings: The Heroes and a party. What could possibly go wrong?

On November 5, another letter from Johnny would go out to everyone reminding them of the costume party, and invite all the newbies along as well. Costumes are a necessity for entrance, except for the newbies, since they've only been here a little over 24 hours now.

The Observatory is in its usual party set up, but this time with an added stage area for any musicians who would like to perform. It's also the spot set up for the costume contest later on. The whole place is covered in festive Night of the 13 Moogles decorations, and as always, there's plenty of food and drinks.

[[This is just a general mingle log, and a good way for the new Heroes to meet everyone, so post whatever and have fun!]]

[Yuna looks up, her head tilting to the side. There is a soft smile playing across her lips as Fai moves closer and she finds herself taking a small step to bridge the gap between them.]

Oh? What other things?

[She likes clothes and she's pretty sure that they are still talking about clothes. She isn't sure what she'd look like in a maid outfit but she tries to imagine it as a sphere.

Paine wouldn't be happy with that.]

[He paused to think of it for a moment, looking her up and down for a moment or two.]

I won't say right now, but maybe later on down the line.

[Because keeping his ideas in his head right now, but he does it with a small smile. He wondered if he would actually go through with any of it, but knowing him he would at least once.]

That’s no fair!

[Yuna doesn’t care much for secrets, of course, all the secrets that have been kept from her have been followed by betrayal. It makes her a little unease however she knows that Fai isn’t anything like that. Her lips pout slightly, her fingers lightly pulling at Fai’s side as if to hug him and then rethink the gesture.]

Tell me.

[Her voice is soft but pleading, it isn’t that she needs to know but it will bother her until she finds out. If he doesn’t tell her then she might just trail him all evening until he does.

Detective Yuna is on the case.]

Or at least a hint?

[He smiles, he did enjoy teasing when he could get away with it and right now he felt like he could as his fingers lightly trailed over Yuna's cheek until they rested just below her chin.]

I could give you a hint, but for all you know I might not have an idea at all and I'm just doing this to get a reaction.

[It was hard to tell which was which, or even if that could be considered a hint.]

Besides, I couldn't give you a hint anyway because you would look nice in a lot of things so I don't have just one single idea.

[He’s teasing her, Yuna knows that he’s trying to get a reaction out of her but knowing doesn’t stop the heat that rises to her face or the slight tint of red that colors her cheeks. His fingers send sparks through her skin and as his fingers lightly press against her chin she has to make a conscious effort to breath.

She inhales a sharp breath trying to turn over what he said in her head. She isn’t sure how to even respond to him let alone how to form a coherent sentence. Her lips part slightly as if to say something but it takes her a long moment to get any words out.]

Thank you…

[Yuna isn’t really smooth and she has the sudden urge to kiss Fai, even though they are in the middle of a party. It really isn’t fair that he can do this to her.]

[He keeps that small smile on his lips for just a moment as he went and wrapped his arms around her lightly. he stayed quiet, not thinking there would be any need for words right now, at least for a good minute or two.]

You're welcome, Yuna-bella~ Though I would have thought you would be going red giving your outfit. I figure you would be cold.

[It feels nice, just leaning against him like this. She closes her eyes feeling the warmth of his skin while her head gently rests on his chest. She listens to the beating of his heart and she feels herself drifting off only to be brought back by Fai's voice.]

It's not too cold. Plus I wore a jacket.

[It's warm inside and she wouldn't dare to venture outside in her current state of dress.]

[He should had figured she wore a jacket really, after all he did note there had been one gone when he himself left the house. He didn't want to move or not go for her right now.]

Well on the way back, I can always be your jacket and keep you warm.

[He might have said that in order to get a reaction out of her, just to see what she would do.]

[Fai is talented when it comes to getting reactions from Yuna. Her cheeks flush and her back straightens as if he’d just run his finger down her spine. He’s the only one to make her feel this way and it still throws her off a little.]

I’d like that.

[She’s trying so hard not to feel embarrassed. She almost wish they could leave the party now just so they can walk together.]

Then when the party is over I'll do exactly that.

[He knew he would do it since she wanted to. Moving to let go, he gave a small smile, he figured he should really let her do things if she wanted to.]

Until is there anyone you want to talk to or want anything to eat or drink?

[She looks around the room with a smile.]

I might start with something to drink.

[She'd pick at food but she has her cards in one hand and no pockets so she has one hand for eating and drinking.

Yuna hadn't thought her costume choice through.]

Alcoholic, or non?

[He figured he might as well ask as he is being a gentlemen as he started to make his way over to the table.]

Also if you want something to eat, I'll hold the plate so we can share. After all I don't think you have any hands left, right?

Either is fine.

[She isn't so picky but when he mentions food her smile brightens.]

I'd really like that.

[As if in response Yuna's stomach grumbles angrily.]

[He laughed slightly, hearing her stomach as he went off to fetch a plate, put on a few things before grabbing a drink just for her as he soon returned.]

Here you go, food and a lovely cocktail I tried before and it's delicious.

[He held out his hand with the drink for her to take, while the other hand still firmly held the plate for her to take whatever she wanted from it.]

[Yuna takes the cocktail with a smile and then takes a small sip. Her smile widens as the light flavors dance across her tongue.]

That tastes amazing.

[She then picks at the small plate nibbling the items while her eyes look up at Fai.]

Thank you.

It is. Barkeep made it for me before.

[He said surprise him and surprise him he did. Thankfully with his hand now free he managed to take what he figured to be a finger sausage and put it right in his mouth before chewing with his mouth closed. Once he swallowed he smiled.]

You are welcome. It's the least I could do after all.

[He doesn't have to do anything which is why Yuna's so happy. She opens her lips as if to say something more but then promptly closes them. They should just have fun tonight, there is always time to worry.]

It looks like they have people singing.

[It's just an observation and shortly after she takes another sip of her drink.]

[he looked over slightly.]

Why don't you sing?

[He looked over to her taking another piece of finger food and popping it into his mouth before chewing.]

I can.

[Yuna smiles brightly before taking another sip of her drink. She carefully sets it on a surface next to her before turning towards Fai.]

But you have to listen.

Of course I'll listen with a drink and eye candy, so I won't need my food.

[All said with a cat like grin, he was being genuine with what he was saying but he knew it would get a reaction as well.]

[Yuna is turning red again but this time she turns and heads towards the stage before he can have the satisfaction of seeing it. He's really the only one that can do that and the moment that she takes the stage it's gone. She's in front of an audience now and she performs for those listening to her words.

She knows a few songs but she wants something happy for this party so she goes to a song that isn't even technically hers. The song leaves her lips and even without the instruments it's easily to tell that it's an energetic song as Yuna steps across the stage.

What's singing without also dancing?]

[Fai had moved to put down the plate so that he could focus fully on the singing and dance. His eyes focused on her movements and he watched with a small smile on his face. He was enjoying it at least and when it was over he ended up clapping.]

[Yuna's smile widens and she slips from the stage to let someone else follow her. She runs over to Fai beaming up at him to hear his thoughts.]

What did you think?

It was wonderful watching you. It shows that it's something you really enjoy.

[He laughed slightly, he would never do something like that if he had to be honest with himself. That was just not something that he would feel comfortable is. At least he figured that.]

I do.

[She likes making others smile though it's Lenne who taught her the true joys of singing.]

Would you go up?

[He's able to wear a dress in front of everyone she'll be a little surprise if he doesn't want to sing. Yuna's always seen Fai as the guy who'd do anything.]
