Well. He might as well start with the last question asked and work his way backwards.]
I don't know. [Not the most helpful response, but it was an honest one. And honesty was always the best route, right?]
Does it matter? Who cares why? There's no reason that's good enough to justify something like this. These are people's lives they're playing with. Including ours!
[Ever the Patron of Yusnaan. Still the politician he wanted to shake. Still capable of making speeches in an attempt to woo people to his side. Part of Snow wanted to kick his own ass, but he knew this was the only way.]
I had to go Cie'th to see it. I know that's not a perfect answer as to how I know, but... it just is. Going Cie'th, coming back... I bet they never expected that. It broke whatever hold they had on me, and trust me, something like this changes you. It helps you see things you were blind to before. This is the second time now that I've... [Nope. Still can't talk about it. He sighed at himself.]
It was that Black Crystal that brought me back, otherwise I'd still be a monster. So to answer your question, no, not all of the Moogles and everyone is in on it. Honestly? I don't think most of them even know. But the ones who do know are here, and they're trying to help us. Help us break free of this whole thing, help us get home. This ceremony is our first step there. It won't happen overnight, but at least we're working at it. And if we go home? There won't be any Heroes of Light left here to destroy the world. Everyone wins. It's only right!
I won't let you guys go Cie'th. And I won't let you destroy the world, either. Help us, here. We all want the same thing - I'm sure of it!
[Phew. It was quite a speech. He could only hope it got through.]

[But that wasn't all there was to it. The ritual...she had seen the seeds. In that moment, Ashelia knew none of this was what it seemed.]
Tell me this, Snow...the ritual. Those seeds. Are those Baltoro's Seeds? [Ashelia took a step forward, one hand going to her chest.] I want to go home. My people need me. However...if those are what I think they are, then I cannot abide this ritual. That little girl, Thalia - you remember her, surely - she died when we returned without those seeds. Slowly and very, very painfully.
[Ashelia paused, clenching her jaw. She continued after a moment, sadness and regret coursing through her.] If you take part in this, you are a part of her death, her suffering. This is what you wanted? To bring us our resolution at the cost of innocent life? There is another way, Snow. There must be.
[Her hand goes from her chest to the hilt of her sword.] I am sorry. I cannot abide this. Those seeds could save so many lives - so many! I'll not see them used thus! [She looked at Lightning. The Queen would take the Savior's lead on this one, but her intention was clear.]

the mention of the seeds made things even more unsettling, causing yuna to furrow her brow as she too listened -- ) If -- those seeds can save people, then... ( well, ashe had said it all, hadn't she? the brunette shook her head, her resolve strengthening once more. if snow truly wanted to help others, then perhaps there was still hope he would listen. )

It matters not how noble of an end you seek, if you harm innocent lives to bring it about. If you continue, I will stand against you.
[He takes on a defensive stance. There is still a vague hope Snow can be talked out of the ritual, he supposes, but Ramza has learned to rely on his instincts, rather than on chance.]

Whoa, hey. Easy. I'm not trying to fight you guys. I don't want to fight any of you!
[Though the possibility of avoiding a fight seemed less and less likely by the second. He wracked his brain, scrambling for something to make them listen.]
Listen, guys. I know... I know that this isn't an easy decision to make. I know! I had to go through it too, but...
If I had to choose between saving the handful of people who could be cured by those seeds, or saving everyone in the world...
[Another sigh. His next few words were going to be hard to say, and it showed in his voice.]
If there's anything I've learned the hard way, over and over again, it's that you can't save everyone.
You - you just can't.
[If he were in the proper state of mind to do so, he would recognize just how wrong that sounded to him. No matter how bad things had gotten for Snow throughout the years, he'd never been in favor of just giving up on people (other than himself, anyway). It wasn't who he was.]
just figured id keep things moving sorry lol /)_(\
Snow... when we first met I told you that as long as we worked together, I believed we could find a way out of this world -- as long as we stood strong, together. ( she cupped a hand near the base of her neck, swallowing hard. the feeling of sickness was starting to come back again... yuna stood, and closed her eyes for a moment to reset -- ) I still believe that.
This -- this isn't the way...

[Ales had watched the entire drama unfold silently, and when he speaks, his voice gives off more of an air of annoyance than anything else.]
If your idea of saving the world involves just sending us home, if that's even possible, what about Jessie and the others? Won't they bring in more heroes? Have you honestly planned beyond that?
[Heroes. They're never are some of the brightest people, no matter which side they're actually on.]
Nice of you to think of the good of everyone here, but sending a just couple of us away to avoid a potential problem isn't enough to justify taking medicine needed for who knows how many people.
[He crosses his arms.] And some of us don't exactly want to go home.
