Event || The Revival of King Moggle Mog XIV

Characters: Undead Heroes and Surviving Heroes of Light participating in the event.
Where: Start in Aqures Ixen; Ends in a Forest East of Aqures.
When: The 31st of October.
Summary: People have died, now they're back with a need to kill those who didn't die. Well, kill them if they have to at the very least. The OOC Post for detailed explanations can be found here.
Warning: Friends killing each other.

[Now it was time for Red to act. Luffy was gone and she wasn't about to let this madman turn his blade on Ib. She didn't know the kid, but she wasn't about to let someone hurt her. She hadn't noticed the tiny Luffy running away, at least, not yet.

She moved away from Ib and did something very stupid. She actually yelled at Sephiroth.]

HEY!

[That's all she said. She didn't know what this guys name was at all, nor did she care. She was going to try and deal as much damage as she could.

It might not be much, but it would have to do.]

[Could it be that he was attacking so fast that the blood wasn't having time to let gravity take it before being absorbed into the steam that surrounded Luffy? Sephiroth reveled in how powerful he was now that all the lies had been stripped away, taking little notice of how the cloud of blood developed around them as their almost too-fast to see duel continued.

Until it all accumulates and explodes around them. Sephiroth has to retreat back in his stance and cover his face with a forearm in case he might get showered in the deep crimson ink. And then Luffy is no where to be seen-

A raised voice caught his attention as Red yelled out from where she had moved away from Ib. Sephiroth peered over her, his intense green gaze as if it might see right through her and discover all of her weaknesses without even having to lift a finger. He considered it for a moment and then spotted movement out of the corner of his eye - a small bouncing straw hat in the darkness, making haste towards the ritual. Quickly he turns towards Luffy, eyeing where the small child was passing dangerously close to where everything was set up. Then spots certain shadowy figures that have noticed his proximity and given chase. So, for now, he turns back to the woman who had challenged him next.]

So keen to interfere as well, hm?

[Already, bruises and a noticeably fatter lip from Luffy's assault were fading away. Sephiroth's regenerative potential not even needing much of a healing spell at all any more.

Still, it doesn't stop Sephiroth glancing at Ib and back to Red - threat assessing for sure.]

[Well... Ib has no idea what happened to Luffy. But it looks like the girls are on their own now. She glances over at Red, then back to Sephiroth. Something like instinct tells her that they can't win against him. But maybe if they keep him occupied, other people might be able to fix things things with slightly less trouble.

So she steels herself and calls up her magic again.]

Thundara!

[She aiming this one at the hand holding his sword, hoping she can get him to drop it. Even a small fumble might give Red a chance to... do something. Yeah, she doesn't know, but it's worth a shot.]

[He hadn't planned on Sephiroth going for his friends, hoping that his new appearance would gain him some hand in moving towards the ritual. In this state, he was no where near the fighting potential of even an ant, but he had to do something. Seeing that the fiend had turned an eye on Ib, the girl he wanted to protect, and of course the gun-toting Red, he had to act.

Scurrying as best as his little legs can, the pint-sized pirate darts at full speed as his voice calls out in a new, squeaky tone, giving further credence to those that would assume he is but a child.]

LEAVE THEM ALONE!!

[His mouth opens up, knowing it would be the only attack he's able to muster up. With a lunge, he springs off of his petite limbs, aiming his teeth for the arm that Ib targets. If his accuracy is true, the bite hits the same time that the lightning magic attacks, coursing through his rubber body and leaving him without so much as a scratch or burn.]

[She liked having Ib's magic to back her up, even if she didn't like the kid being there. This wasn't going to end well at all and she didn't want the kid to be hurt. She'd rather take the damage herself than have Ib get hurt.

She was about to say something else when Ib attacked and Luffy reappeared from somewhere. She wasn't expecting that at all. She stood, eyes wide for a moment before she shook herself from her thoughts and gripped her sword a little bit tighter.

She wasn't about to attack when Luffy was still holding on with his teeth. Stupid kid, but she had to give it to him, he was tough as all get out. And she had never seen someone able to stretch like he did.]

[Ib's thunder spell hits with astonishing accuracy and Sephiroth flinches back from it heavily, in the direction of Luffy's lunge up for the bite. Masamune does fall away from him, landing not far away at all though as his attention is again snapped back to the now pint-sized pirate.]

Ugh- you annoying little brat. [Sephiroth sets back in the remains of his stance and -along with a telekinetic charge- pushes up and away using the force of the momentum to fling Luffy from his arm in a backhanded motion. Maybe he'd hit something solid -like a tree, and then he'd be out of the interference for good. Pesky little kid. Kids actually. The lot of them.

Still something stirred inside Sephiroth now, a fluctuation of energy pressing against the outside of it's cage. Like a limit break - and Sephiroth is keen to use it. Stepping forwards and kneeling to retrieve his sword from the ground, he pauses before rising. Flicking his gaze up and over Ib and Red again.]

You will regret ever having stood in my way-

[He wraps his hand around the sword handle and immediately Sephiroth's entire being is encased in a light green glow. As if a green filter has been passed over all of his features, and it's becoming thicker as they watch. Sephiroth's power seems to add to the charging energy in the clearing that the ritual is creating and he's showing no signs of stopping channeling whatever he's managed to find within himself-

-If there is anything anyone wants to say to him, now would be the time to do it.]

Sephiroth! Don't do this! This isn't you!

[She's desperate now. They can't beat him, that much is obvious. But she still looks up to him. Still thinks of him as a friend. So she has to at least try.]

You're a hero! Heroes don't hurt people!

[But the energy building around him tells her that it's too late. Ib doesn't know what he's about to do, but she can tell it's bad. Not that there's much she can do about it.]

GET DOWN!

[That is directed at both Red and Luffy. And then she promptly takes her own advice. Whatever Sephiroth is about to throw at them, she doubts they can outrun it. But maybe they can get out of the way.]

[He's flung a bit aways into the brush, sitting up to realize his body is back to its normal state. No longer a dwarfed version of himself, the pirate gets to his feet and takes off into a full run. There's little time to act, little time to think of anything that would keep the impending attack on bay. He isn't sure his next move will stop the man, but at the very least it might damper the damage it's about the inflict.

Feet away from Sephiroth, Luffy's jaw spreads open. The width and length it stretches is enough to encase itself around the height and size of Sephiroth's upper-half, at least the part where the large-pointy sword isn't going to prick him.]

GOMU GOMU NO BAKU-BAKU~!

[Hoping that his timing is true, Luffy opens his maw and seals it around Sephiroth's head and chest. He full well knows not to bite, not wanting to kill let alone eat the man, but hopefully it's enough of an unsettling attack to keep the madman from attacking the pair.]

[By the time Ib yells and Luffy stretches his mouth out and around Sephiroth's head and hooks around where his shoulder armor was it's not really armor anymore. Sephiroth's entire being has taken on a green hue and the features are melding out into one solid form of fleshy material.

The air closest to him vibrates dangerously in something similar to the tangible feeling of anticipation before something dreadful happens - which Luffy gets a large taste of.

A wave from behind them all, off in the direction of Genesis avatar, hits all of them from behind and Sephiroth's being -starting to pulsate with an inner green-glow- pitches forwards with Luffy still attached around it's top-most parts. The form starts to convulse and expand from the inside-outwards; skin stretching, bones creaking - Sephiroth would have cried out if he still had the facial features that could do so.

Still, from deep within the middle of his form a fierce groan could be felt rather than heard as he quickly develops into the larger Bizarro form. The final phase of which regains the impression of his upper body which had had Luffy's mouth wrapped around it. The part of this monster that appears closest to how Sephiroth did now looks for the most part to be morphed into part of it's main structure - connecting several parts together.]

[Ib curls up close to the ground, expecting an attack. After a few seconds, she risks looking back up. Sephiroth is gone. Replaced by..... by whatever that thing is.

And Luffy seems to be.... eating.. him?

This is really weird.

She looks over at Red, half to see if she's okay and half to see if she knows whats going on.]

[Sorry, Ib. Red's got nothing. She's trying to gather her wits about her as she wonders just what in the world is going on here. She doesn't know anything about what kinds of things go on in this world or what happens in other worlds.

She does her best to keep Ib shielded as Sephiroth changes and Luffy continues to do what he does. She didn't want to hit Luffy, but it was time for her to actually do something besides stand in one place.

A couple of quick casts later, she didn't know what kinds of things this guy could do and having the protection of Shell and Protect would be a good idea. Gripping her sword a little bit tighter, she flung herself at Sephiroth, aiming to slash across his middle.]

[With the expansion of the growing beast, Luffy tugs on what skin he can get a grip upon to pry his lips off of the looming creature. When he falls to the ground, the dust about him rises while he struggles to spit out the odd taste of a disgruntled swordsman turned monster.

Wiping his mouth on his arm, Luffy looks up to see the full height of the creature, gulping as the lump in his throat crashes to his stomach like a sack of bricks. This.. This was not going the way he'd hoped. He was close to being tapped for being able to use his GEARS, as another surge of power would either put him down for good or worse.

There's no choice. He'll have to go to the edge if there is any hope of distracting what used to be Sephiroth. He jumps to his feet, taking up a horse-stance, his body turning the dark shade of pink once more as the blood drips with greater speed from his open wounds. Another leap, jumping towards the legs of the transformed villain to try and punch his way to victory. A quick volley, a burst of fists, anything to keep him from getting to Ib and Red.]

[Red's sword connects across the middle of the monster as intended, though it doesn't appear to do much to the core of the being that Sephiroth has turned into - a flash of white across the protruding nub at the center. The outside wing-like appendages flex somewhat on either side but do not seem to retaliate --at least to begin with.

Luffy's attacking has much the same effect. It seems that most of the middle of the form is invulnerable to physical attack, even if the whole form did flinch definitively at the barrage of blows.

The air stirs and the wing like limbs move around the front of the form minutely, before the left side stretches itself towards the floor and then extends- pointing directly at Red. From the ground around Red a well of darkness quickly erupts in a dome, with green and orange energy flickering all around it. It's a strong non-elemental attack but the Shell should go some way into tempering the damage.]

[It's like nothing they do is even scratching him. Maybe nothing will. But what else can they do? Luffy seems determined to fight this out to the end. And Sephiroth isn't listening to anything they say. And he's clearly stronger than them. If this keeps up....

She can remember this suffocating feeling of helplessness from the gallery. When there was nothing she could do except run and hide. Is running the only option now?

But now she's a hero. And she doesn't think heroes get to just run away.]

Blizzara!

[The ice trick again. Maybe she can at least pull his attention away from Red and Luffy for a minute.]

[Well, that hurt. Red was thankful for Shell, but that attack still left its mark upon her. She wasn't used to fighting like this. All of her fights back on Mars involved laser pistols, rifles, and the occasional bar brawl.

Her breathing was a bit heavier as she braced herself for another attack. She couldn't exactly heal herself, but she wasn't going to let the girl and Luffy fight alone.

Gathering her strength she aimed her next attack for one of those wing-like limbs.]

[As mentioned on Plurk, my intention is to hand wave the rest of this fight. The group will get through Bizarro as long as they manage to keep their HP's up. The disturbance in the energy in and around the fight when Sephiroth finally shifts again into Safer Sephiroth draws Caius into the fight.

Eventually, he is knocked into an unconscious heap and does eventually return to his standard form.
