[Flynn is hauling a bookcase. He has books. Seriously. In any case, the damn thing is heavy but he manages to put it into his new room. It had to be better than the time he was forced to share a bed with Yuri because Yuri refused to clean the dishes, prompting Flynn to stack them all on top of Yuri's bed. That did not go well. Yuri was a cover hog. Damned vagabond's habits never changed.]

Here we go.

[He then places his sword on a stand next to his door. Very classy.]

Sigh...

[He's a bit unhappy that both Yuri and Raven banned him from cooking. Apparently everyone else in the house wanted more turns or something. Oh well.]

[Rukia doesn't own all that much. Most of what she has are some changes of clothes, some toiletries, and a few letters she's particularly fond of that she wanted to keep. She moves in with a backpack, and that's it. She's impressed at the size of the house. It has an upstairs level? She's not sure if they already decided who gets which room, as she's not especially picky, but she's kind of hoping for whatever's on the second floor.]

[She jogs up the stairs, then stops, noticing that there's a panel in the ceiling with a handle-tipped rope hanging from it. Ooooo... She pulls on it. A ladder slides out of the panel. This place has an attic?]

[CAN SHE LIVE IN THE ATTIC???]

[But the ladder isn't the only thing sliding out of the panel. A giant dust bunny rolls out too, landing right on top of Rukia's head with a poof of grey dust.]

Ack!

[She winces, brushing her hand over her hair with a frown, then reaches for the ladder to climb up. Poking her head through the hole, she notes that the living space isn't really ideal for a bedroom. There's no insulation, which means hot summers and freezing winters. She also might get wet if it rains. But at least it makes for a nice quiet spot if she needs to be by herself for a little while. Maybe she'll tidy it up later.]

[After she washes the dust out of her hair, gross. She calls out to the rest of her new roommates.]

Oy! Which room am I sleeping in?

[She calls out as she drops the ladder again. Hopefully no one was standing beneath it.]

[Truth be told when the idea came up of moving to another place with the rest of them Ichigo didn't really see the point. It wasn't as if they were living in different cities or anything and really, he only knew Rukia and Raven. Well, Raven only a tiny bit. But Rukia's been acting a little different ever since that Sage business and he's been a little concerned about that. Besides... what harm could it do?]

[Like his room at home he hasn't acquired overly much--a few books he's either been given or borrowing, some personal affects, both forms of his sword for some reason, his Job armor. The usual items a teenager should have. He's currently trying to decide between sharing a room with someone or try to go for one of the single rooms. Honestly he doesn't care but he doesn't know if anyone has any preferences. He's disciplined enough by his crazy goat of a father to keep his room clean no matter where he is so it isn't like he was going to be a terrible housemate. Better to ask then.]

Uh, has anyone settled in one of these yet?

[Though everyone's busy moving their own things into the house. Maybe he should just pick one. Hmm.]

[ Originally Raven had almost nothing of value to move. His room had gone plain for months since he arrived in Crystallis from his world. Whether he was too busy to personalize his living space, never cared to do it, or just never felt at home, all that was clear was it never got done. However, in the last month (or so?) this arrangement had been altered to look more characteristic. Most of which were items he didn't choose. He didn't have a lot to move but it was a lot more than he had before. Of course, Raven had only taken a couple of items his first trip. That being the space heater (because hello, its winter) and the lovely questionable pin-up girl calendar. And no one was surprised.

Moving was kind of a lot of work, but the only reason he agreed to it was because no one else seemed to mind. That and it was easier looking after your own crew when you lived with them. Not that Raven was a great "father" figure to his friends, but he did carry a level of wisdom the children were still learning. Ha. ]

There.

[ Raven has set the two and only belongings on the floor. With five people, and four rooms, meant they were going to have to invest in one more bed. (He could just steal his since he doubted Midna would want another roommate anyway.) In either case, at least two people would share a room, and he wouldn't care if he end up being one of them. ]

What's an old man like me doin' movin' my own things?

[ In other words. One of his younger compadres should move for him. At least that's what he'll try to fish for. ]

February 13th - 14th

[It's not as if Rukia's trying to keep her activities a secret. She proudly presented her rabbit-shaped candy molds when she brought them home from the market to anyone who was around to see them. She'd also purchased pounds of chocolate meant for melting and filling those molds, and after dinner, she busied herself in the kitchen preparing handmade chocolates for her friends. There were a lot of them in the city, which meant there were a lot of chocolate bunnies to create. Just filling a mold wouldn't be enough; with the aid of some colored oils and white chocolate, she's able to decorate those bunnies with accessories, hairstyles, or other unique traits to personalize them. Flynn's bunnies wear armor. Raven's bunnies are asleep in purple coats. Ichigo's each have a shock of short orange hair, while Yuri's sport long, luxurious hair.]

[She almost makes some for Repede until someone helpfully points out that chocolate is poisonous to dogs. So she just gives him a heart-shaped sausage patty for breakfast the next day instead.]

[Speaking of breakfast, one might almost think that Rukia just spent the entire night in the kitchen (she did not), because she's up early pouring pancake batter very carefully into a heart-shaped mold. There's a plate to the left with what must have been attempts at bunny-shaped pancakes...if those bunnies were mutated pudge monsters with lopsided chocolate chip eyes. They didn't turn out nearly as cute as she was hoping, but she's going to eat them anyway.]

[The table is set with a pitcher of orange juice, maple syrup, raspberry jam, and of course, a neatly-wrapped box containing four chocolate bunnies for each housemate, bearing a nametag to indicate who gets which box.]

[Rukia might not appreciate the holiday for its romantic aspects, but she can appreciate an excuse to celebrate and show her affection for her friends, and that she does whole-heartedly. She even found a dress with tiny black hearts on red fabric! ...Granted it was probably made for a twelve-year-old, but it fits her just fine, and she seems to be in better spirits than she has in a long while as she sets out the butter dish.]

[And she STILL has no idea that Raven hates sweets, otherwise she would have made him an omelet instead.]
