Event || Revelations
Characters: All the Heroes of Light and their Moogles.
Where: Order's Sanctuary, The Interdimensional Rift and their Homeworlds.
When: August 03rd - August 30th
Summary: Following the battle against Palitutu, all the Heroes of Light were transported into the Interdimensional Rift. They were told by Palitutu they would have to find her to prove they can break the cycle-- But before they could reach their destination, a malevolent entity from the Rift stripped them from their immortality...
And now, they woke up in a decaying and dying world, most specifically in a place called Order's Sanctuary. From there they are ready to jump... Into their homeworlds! Feel free to use this post for the Mingle at Order's Sanctuary and should your homeworld be the stage for the Heroes of Lights' next adventures, feel free to make a thread for it and as many sub-thread as necessary! Please refer to the OOC Post for questions and plotting.
Warning: Whatever you come up with.

"I'm so glad you're OK, Kupo."
They've been here for a while already, so much so that Sephiroth is back on his feet and on a kind-of patrol around the area. Taking stock of their surroundings, taking great care not to stray too close to what he thought was the perimeter after which those manikins that roamed around outside would take advantage and rush for them; head-counting similarly to Vincent. Yet at the same time trying not to put too much weight in the fact he'd not seen Terra since the battle had started...
"Vincent..." An acknowledgment and a greeting in one word preceded Sephiroth has he strode over to the other man. That pristine uniform was mudded, bloodied and torn in places, a notable crack across one of his signature silver pauldrons. Not even Sephiroth's hair had managed to avoid any of it, the mud long-since dried was starting to flake away and reveal a matted-dull color which was also spattered in blood in places.
"...what do you make of things?" He referred to their brief stint in the void, being the most logical place to start as he came to a stop. Gathering as many opinions as possible seemed an adequate use of time, yet as if on high-alert for something Sephiroth often seemed restless in quick glances around.

For all that had happened, Vincent is remarkably less damaged than many. He's covered in mud at places, and parts of the mantled cape and an edge or two of his hair are more torn. Considering also that his limit-break had activated before they came to the void, the stoic man looks as he ever does.
"Unfortunately what I remember properly is spotty." He'd been recovering from his limit-break, and then having Ophelia cling to him. "I would find out if any of us recognized the voice that spoke to us." It might provide them some clues, as the void had felt familiar but not in anyway Vincent could easily place. Not with his disorientation.
"Beyond that, I can only speculate."

Sephiroth stopped a reasonable distance from Vincent that was both within a polite range for conversation but also so that he didn't jeopardize any of his field of view around and behind the other man. Sharp eyes quickly picked over Vincent's condition, in particular the raggedy parts of his mantle that had been something else entirely when he'd morphed into Chaos. The silver warrior had never seen Chaos, despite the trip back into Vincent's memories that he'd taken before.
But then he hadn't expected to have seemingly exploded a star out of the sky, either.
"There wasn't much time to gain much of an impression, but it didn't ring any recognition with me at least. Nor Spencer." To be true the little guy had been quite like Ophelia; yet more shaking than clinging to him when they'd been in that other place.
"I think it's safe to say that we were, and might still be, somewhere within the Interdimensional Rift."
no subject
"Given the file on Palitutu's computer, that's a likely assumption. I would venture this is Order's Sanctuary, given the surroundings." A pointed look to the edges of the area, where they can make out hints of the Manikins waiting.
no subject
"So it would seem." Although he'd already given a good look around, Sephiroth does so again. Remembering back to the lines of code that Lucrecia had discovered in Palitutu's hidden lab. Now all that needs to be fathomed is that last line -'port' indication- portals? He's seen a few of them around but hasn't gotten close to any of them yet.
The manikins lingering outside of some invisible perimeter was more of a concern just now, while so many of them were trying still to take stock in what had just happened.
"We could have done without losing one of our few boons in this existence, I think."
no subject
"Some of us have been operating without the assumption that such a boon existed. It's loss is annoying, but not unexpected." Vincent had known, theoretically, that if he 'died' while on Crystallis he would come back to life after a week. He hadn't behaved any differently because of it though. Then there were the other group of Heroes, those who'd finally joined up with the rest at Mysidia. They'd been used to the idea of death being permanent far before this latest development.
No; Vincent had long ago in his life made peace with the fact that his missions and life always brought the risk of death. There were worse things than dying, and he'd experienced a few of those already. Death held no fear for him--only the regret of unfinished business.
no subject
"Hm." It wasn't as if Sephiroth had been living with the apparent immortality as a crutch, either. He'd died perhaps once, if he recalled it correctly, and that had been very early on under circumstances he knew he didn't want to recall right now. The fact that it had turned his crystal from red to blue had been enough of a warning to avoid that potential outcome as much as possible.
All said and done, considering how many conflicts he'd seen, Sephiroth had either been exceptionally skilled or incredibly lucky. Over time he had been swayed into thinking more of the latter where his confidence had waned away.
"What concerns me more, is exactly what else that might have been connected to, metaphysically speaking..." In other words, what did it mean now for the Calamity, and for their so-called assimilation to Crystallis...
no subject
"Jade and Lucrecia have been looking into the crystals, among other things, if I recall." Certainly the latter spent enough time at the Lab. Orpheus tried to drag her out, and when he couldn't, he got Vincent to do so, to ensure she didn't just live at the lab. "Was anyone else focusing on that, or perhaps on the rift itself?
no subject
He'd been discussing the Interdimensional Rift with that man on a few occasions recently, that's how he'd found out about the plans to somehow construct a 'safe' portal which wouldn't also unleash those manikins out into Crystallis. Mostly as the projects he'd been putting some of his gil into had started to become completed now and he was overly cautious about that particular one, overall.
Sephiroth looked around for that man but couldn't see him currently. It was possible that some of them had already gone into their first portal by now, where a few were still hanging back in the Sanctuary. For fear over where they might lead? Or how it might end up? Who knew.
"I daresay I'm hardly the most informed, aside from certain reports that we've been able to read."
