She smiled at his arrival but the grin was quickly pulled from her lips. She swung her sword across and then down slicing through the monster as it got close. She had only arrived a few hours before and she quickly noticed his fatigue.

"Would you like me to heal you? You look tired." Zelda quickly stepped next to Guy holding her sword out to protect her exposed side.

"...Only if there's no one else around who needs it more," he replied, eyes panning the area to do a cursory check over the civilians that were around. While he was starting become fatigued, he still had a ways to go before he was exhausted.

"How many are left back there, do you know?"

"The monsters keep coming and while the soldiers don't seem to be attaching civilians the monsters don't seem to show that restraint." Zelda looked back at the street she had been covering to see three monsters replace the two she has cut down.

She lets out a sigh before casting Cura on Guy and stepping back towards the fight. "I have plenty of energy. I'd rather you be in top shape."

Zelda stepped away bringing her blade in front of her as the monsters got closer. "Unless the chaos dies down we need to keep the monsters from attacking people." She trusted the other heroes to do their best hoping that he efforts are worth something.

The gentle warmth from the spell was akin to some of the Fonic Artes he was familiar with from his world. It eased his fatigue and reinvigorated his stamina, just in time for him to swing his blade at those monsters as well.

"Of course," He said, thrusting steel into the target. "That's priority, or a bunch of us are in for some sleepless nights because of this."

After the trials he had seen before his arrival in this world, he didn't think he could stand sitting with himself if he didn't act with the rest of the heroes.

Zelda couldn't guess how long the battle would last. She supposed it would continue until the soldiers that attacked them reached their goal; whatever that might be. A sinking feeling began to develop in her stomach as she thought about it but she quickly tossed those thoughts aside. They had to focus on the fight in front of them.

She side stepped again turning towards another monster than made it's way towards the crowd. Her sword swung down in an expert arc slicing it's head from its shoulders. "We need to push them back, away from those escaping." Her voice was clear and unwavering as she took a step towards the on coming monsters working her way away from the crowd.

Zelda hated fighting but she couldn't do nothing with these creatures attacking. Being in this world has given her strengths and skills that far surpassed what she had at home and she was determined to use them to help those around her.

"We'll do it," Guy promised firmly as he sliced through more enemies.

"One way or another....we'll definitely do it."

He had faith in the others who were chosen to be this world's Heroes. There was a reason they all were in that world, after all. The only things they could do were fight and believe in each other.

She side stepped bringing the sword down in a graceful arc. She sliced through the creatures coming towards them not thinking about the gruesome nature of her task. She glanced back at Guy with a confident stare.

"Your right. We will."

Zelda knew that she could trust Guy to guard against those monsters attacking from that one side. She hadn't known him for long but she trusted him nonetheless.

"Attack the left and drive them back." Her voice wasn't demanding but she was determined and it showed in her movements and tone as she spoke.
