Intro Log || Puppets

Characters: All the "Heroes of Light" (only new characters can start threads).
Where: Aqures Ixen.
When: The 5th of May. The new Heroes of Light will awaken early in the morning.
Summary: The new Heroes of Light awaken in Aqures Ixen and are informed by their assigned Moogles of what the situation and what their destinies are. This a log for them to react to the situation, meet each other and be welcomed by the former batches of Heroes of Light.
Warning: N/A.

Where you were or what you were doing— It does not really matter. Not any more. Within an instant, the world around you collapses. Reality twists and shatters... Or maybe you are the one who is collapsing and shattering away from reality as you knew it. No matter what the answer is, it will only take a few seconds for you to find yourself sinking into a void, your world vanishing into the distance. There is nothing but darkness as far as the eye can see. Even you feel different: all the powers you might once have had, are now gone. It is silent, cold and it feels as though life itself is slipping out of you.

At this moment, when it looks as though nothing but a never-ending void awaits you, a red Crystal forms before you. In this void, its warmth compels you to grab it. Upon doing so, you can hear a soft, soothing voice speaking:


"Wake up."

Soon, the void itself vanishes and is replaced by distant noises of engines. Had it all been nothing more than a dream? The soothing voice repeats its call one more time, but is soon replaced with a much less graceful "Wake up Kupo." Hand clutched on your Crystal, the call of the Moogle may finally wake you up. But you are no longer in your world, nor in the void. You are before the Crystal of Fire, in the third district of a city called Aqures Ixen. At this point, you may realize the engine noise actually originates from an Airship flying low over the city and headed to dock beneath the castle. As if it wasn't strange enough, your clothes have changed as well. They are now a reflection of the Jobs you are wielding. Last but not least, you are surrounded by Moogles, small and fluffy creatures who are more than happy to tell you about everything you want to know, about your 'destiny' as a Hero of Light, about what awaits you.

Or at least, they will tell you everything they do know, which isn't much in the end.

The only people around you are like you-- There are quite a few of them, all clothed in their Job garbs and most likely wondering what is happening. If somehow you do not realize it, the Moogle who woke you up will be more than happy to inform you there are others like you around. In fact, there are other Heroes who have arrived in the course of the past year and they will come soon! Like you, they have Jobs and a Crystal.

If asked, the Moogles will mention that the Heroes of Light - that is to say you - are fighting against time to save Crystallis from the Calamity that is about to awaken to devour the entire world. Well, that is if you don't die or crystallize first.


The Other Heroes
— Shortly Thereafter —
Thanks to the efficiency of Mognet, it does not take long for the other Heroes to come around: those who arrived in this world within the past year. You may have imagined heroic and charismatic figures when your Moogle told you that there were other Heroes of Light in this city. You may have imagined persons with fearsome powers when they told you about how they managed to push back the Empire and defeat gigantic beasts in the past. And more importantly, you may have imagined them as people who would have all the answers to your, doubtlessly, numerous questions.

If so, you may be up for a tragic disappointment. Still, for the most part they know more than you on the situation and may be more than happy to fill you in, especially if your Moogle didn't tell you much.


The City of Aqures Ixen
— Anytime —
With the Triple Triad World Championship nearing, there are a lot of folks working hard to set up the upcoming event! Noticeably a lot of Triple Triad players eager to defy anyone they pass by for a chance at honing their skills, and people from Trano Golsaucia as they're working on the stadium.

And besides card games, there are a lot of things to do in the city for newcomers. Moogles are working hard in Mognet Office of the ninth district and there is a Blitzball Game between kid teams happening at 16:00! Characters are also free to visit the city-- They can visit Airship Port in the twelfth district from where characters can board for free Airships from Shoopuf Airline.

Or maybe you could visit your new house in the 11th District, and get to know your new neighbors and housemate. Hopefully your neighbors are people you will get along with.


The Laboratory
— Anytime —
A location where a lot of Heroes of Light seem to be gathering is Palitutu's Laboratory. It is a place where employed characters can research into various topics. However, most importantly, characters can see a file with their name...

Should your character decide to go there and peek at their file, there are two possibilities. Either the file is corrupted and they cannot access it: too bad for them, but at least their life will remain a mystery. Or should you decide the file isn't corrupted, they will find a summary of their lives up to their canon point, as if written by a third-person omniscient narrator. On the column left to the text, to the top there is a portrait of them, and beneath it there is a 3D model of them. Said portrait and model can be switched to any year of their life. At the bottom there is a percentage, indicating 0%. On the right column, there are various links, most of which are grayed out. The clickable links lead to their Homeworld History and their future post-canon point history (corrupted file for unfinished canons).

At least, they can lock this file away if they don't want anyone to see it.

The Hospital
— Anytime —
Characters who have already been in Crystallis before do not wake up by the Crystal of Fire like everyone else. Instead, they will wake up in the Hospital of Aqures Ixen, in a room where there are over a hundred of other Heroes of Light like them-- Maybe even some familiar faces... Except they're all in Crystal Stasis.

A couple Moogles and a few nurses will be waiting by the room, and they will welcome all characters waking up. Upon exiting the room, they will also meet a lot of guards, and they all have for order to shoot anyone that comes out of this room without a Moogle. Hopefully you won't try running out without waiting for your Moogle. As for why the guards are so on edge, it might be a good idea to ask the other Heroes of Light about what happened last year.


Close Encounters of the Third Kind
— 12:00 —
Characters venturing by between the Airport this specific time will be able to see a most peculiar sight: a flying saucer seemingly abducting a Hypello before flying away and disappearing into the sky without leaving any traces of its presence. Was it an UFO or just a hallucination?

Previous sightings of such a thing have happened. Maybe we are on the verge of a full-scale alien invasion... Or not really.

[There's a new sight near the fountain today. Standing a few inches over seven feet tall, there's a man wearing a vampire's coat (left open) and pants, both arms holding onto papers that he's trying to read as he walks. He definitely stands out—there are very few Heroes of Light with antlers, or Heroes whose hooves clack against they paved street as they walk. Even stranger still, there's a Moogle also clad in black that seems intent on following him from a distance, zipping from behind one object and then flying to the top of a pole, fancying himself a ninja the entire time.

If Dylas looks unhappy, it's not because of the Moogle, it's because he has a lot to be unhappy about while he's trying not to look lost. As he furrows his brows at the information papers the quiet Moogle had so kindly written for him, he looks both unhappy (he's scowling, and his fangs give him an overbite) and confused, ears twitching and tail swishing behind him.]

This is all some kind of joke, right? A "Hero"?

[He's talking to his Moogle, but given his Moogle is nowhere to be seen at times, it might sound like he's addressing someone else.

Later, he can be found standing in front of a vegetable stand or bakery looking at the food somewhat enviously. It's been so long since he's had bread or carrots, really, his stomach didn't agree with them for the last year. He might come across as looking hungry, but there are two problems. One, he's not sure if he can eat them, and, two, he doesn't want to get too close. His appearance is startling, after all. He occasionally puts his hand over his heart, reminding himself that it's beating again as well, looking a little calmer.

Lastly, he'll check in at his new lodging, B-08. He isn't planning to stay there long. Staying with strangers? He'll drop off his Moogle here, tell it to stop following him, and then head to sleep outside or try to get some work and a place to stay in the inn...if he's not turned away. Everyone here is so human, he feels more and more like an outsider the longer he walks around.

But he'll get there, and he won't knock before entering. It was assigned to him, so there's no need. Right?]

( the non-human looking heroes had always been a point of interest to her, since the world was just so... overrun with the hylian looking people to begin with. floating in mid-air, she floated just a little closer, enough to be within earshot when she finally said... )

So it's that time again, hm? The new heroes must be arriving, eee hee hee... ( it was easy to lose track of days when you were lost wandering in a desert. )

[Recent events took away Ales's usual enthusiasms. That used to be his job in his world, he's the friendly guy, but he can't find the energy to be chipper right now. That's why, when overhearing Dylas - a species he hadn't seen before on Crystallis, oh wow, whatever could that mean? - he doesn't feel the need to greet the new arrival with typical amiability.]

I know, who'd ever call someone dooming their homeworld a Hero? We have a terrible sense in humor here, as a warning.

[There's a small blue create, slightly bigger than a Moogle, standing beside Dylas, wearing a mechanic's suit with a black jacket that doesn't fit with the outfit over it. It's hard to see any sense of a scowl on his tiny face, but those angry eyebrows are there.]

[Crystallis is home to all sorts of races, and back home, Ed's met all sorts of people as well. So Dylas's appearance isn't a total shock, but he sure does stand out. The man coming out of the bakery reflexively stops for a moment, but he doesn't want to be rude. Instead, he slaps on a smile. Sometimes it's easy picking out new Heroes.]

Let me guess: you're new in town, and your moogle didn't leave you with any money, huh.

[With everything that's been happening in this world lately, Chrom forgot all about the new arrivals in town. He went through his usual morning routine -- jogging, breakfast, weapons training, etc. -- before running a few errands for the members of his household. It's his turn to do the shopping, which is fair, since he's not much of a cook. He takes the list from where it's been pinned to the fridge, takes up a shoulder bag, and off he goes.]

[Now at the market, he moves past the bins of fresh fruit and vegetables, a basket on his elbow filled with a pint of red berries, a glass bottle of milk, and a package of freshly caught fish wrapped in brown paper.]

Carrots...

[He reads from the list before looking up at the vegetables. Those are...orange, right? Because the shape of these purple carrots is correct, but the color isn't what he's accustomed to seeing. He reaches for one, examines it, and decides it's probably close enough to fit the bill. He adds a few more.]

[Then he turns and WHOA...that's a pretty big guy hanging back. How did he miss him? Chrom pauses, blinking in surprise for a moment. No one else seems all that bothered by his appearance, so he must be a Hero of Light. He looks a little unsure of himself, so Chrom has to assume he's new.]

Hail, friend.

[Chrom steps toward him with a smile, unbothered by his appearance. He's not so different from the Taguel of his world, just much bigger.]

[It's nothing other than Dylas' appearance that draw's the former Remnant's attention today. It's been two months since new Heroes were called, and he'd been part of that group. He did, however, the more he watched this curious figure, himself clad in black leathers, silver hair falling into his eyes, wonder if this man was the same as the others, or if he were more akin to his calling.

He approached with a sort of childlike swagger, an air of attitude to his gait as an impish smile teased the corners of his mouth.]

It's not a joke, you know. They really think we can save them.

Are you alright?

[A soft kind voice echoes from his right as he stares at the bread placed artfully in the window of the store. Rich smells of yeast and freshly cooked goods fill the air making even the fullest passersby’s pause to look at the alluring food.

Terra’s expression was gentle, her bright blue eyes shining as she looked up at the stranger. She has a basket positioned beneath her arm filled to the brim with colorful wild flowers.]

Would you like some bread?

[She doesn’t seem put off by his appearance however it’s because Terra has her own monster lingering just beneath the surface.]

[Someone like that is definitely noticeable, for better or worse. K'pandolu doesn't mean any ill by her staring, but… it's up to him how she takes it.

Still, she offers a smile as she approaches, assuming she's identified the problem as being around money. It's been… quite some time since she was in that kind of position, but…]

They don't give you very much to begin with, do they?

( he almost looked a little pathetic standing there... this half-monstrous man edna had been studying for the last few minutes. she looked down at the loaf of bread she had gone to get just earlier... and sighed to herself, as she stepped over closer towards him.

Dammit, if this ain't vague as hell.

[Hisui crosses his arms as he wanders about the city, a bit peeved. He had already saved Cellirand, so why was he alone whisked away to another world? The whole crystallization process seemed a bit similar to calcification, though it depended on whether or not this world had anything like the heart, of "spiria". Gale Arc wasn't here either, but getting used to these sorts of weapons was also going to be a pain in the ass. On one hand, it'll be nice to have a weapon that didn't depend on the strength of your heart, but on the other hand continually trading it in or modifying it seemed like a chore.]

May as well look around for some grub...

[A bustling city? Hisui couldn't say that he had ever lived in one. Norquin was a small, tight-knit hamlet with its own unique accent, but this city just from a few hours of exposure seemed like a huge melting pot, most likely because of all of the otherworldly visitors. Slaves? Well, whatever it was, it felt different and Hisui was soaking in the ambiance. The card duels, the blitzball (no way was he going to take part, being unable to swim), and the various streets were just an interesting sight to behold. He had to wonder if Quartzia was anything like this in its past.]

[Electronically flipping through the files, it seemed that they had a basic knowledge of other worlds. Some were more vague than others, and some just sounded plain useless. Did they really need someone who excelled that much in sports or card games? The more he read the different files, the more bewildered he seemed - too many questions, and no answers. He then happened upon his own folder, and he tentatively opened it up before deciding to dive in and read about himself.]

[Hisui just blinks, a bit dumbfounded he stares at the object in the skies above. So much that he stops walking right in the middle of the street.]

[ The Water Seraph mused as he turned to notice that someone unfamiliar was int he laboratory that he ventured to from time to time. It was ludicrous how many files there were here. He even managed to find files on his friends that were, and those that weren't. He was discreet and didn't go too into detail with the reading. However, he's still trying to learn about this world in general. ]

[The winner of the previous game appears to be a cheerful young lady with long brown hair, holding her hand up to her mouth in obvious delight. If Hisui is any good at Triple Triad, he might notice that this girl not only won, she completely trounced the poor woman who's slumped in despair across the table from her.]

'But...but you're just a beginner...were you lying about that?'

Lying! Oh, no! I'm just...really good with numbers, that's all.

[The girl's smile is sweet, almost bashful. She reaches across the table to squeeze her opponent's hand.]

Don't give up. I'd like to play you again sometime!

[After the two have separated, the girl looks up at Hisui and beams.]

Hello! Are you my next opponent?

[She bows in her seat, the epitome of politeness.]

I'm Akane. Nice to meet you!

[Terra doesn’t often go to meet the new heroes. She is slowly acclimating herself with social norms but she still feels awkward or out of place when meeting new people. She also wasn’t the best at explaining the strange going-on’s of Crystallis. The only place she truly feels at home is in her provided house and then with her flowers.

Heels click softly as she makes her way back to her shop, her eyes watching those around her but then occasionally looking down at the wild flowers in her basket. The basket is held firmly beneath her arm and close to her chest as if that might make moving through the bustle of the city easier. She pauses as a man steps out in front of her and stops. She tries to go around him but he moves again, clearly not bothering to notice the young woman trying to walk along the street that he blocked.

Terra takes a step backwards bumping into the man behind her. She turns quickly her expression a mixture of surprise and worry.]

I’m so sorry.

[There are too many people on the streets for a girl caring a basket of flowers.]

[As Hisui stands there, a man sporting a police badge runs up beside him, far too late to do anything about the abduction. He's frustrated beyond words for a moment, sputtering before he can manage to yell at the craft.]

Ah come on. I thought we were done with this! Ya can't go takin' people now!

Jack hadn't been taking anything well and with the news of the truth resting on her shoulders, it didn't take much to agitate her. So when she smacked into Hisui, she shoved him as an extra measure and made sure to scowl at him.

"Get out of the way if you're gonna gawk." The command was growled before she paused, looking at him for a moment for anything familiar and failing to recall it.

"Sorry. You're new, aren't you?"

A. Waking Up

[There's a young lady lying on the ground, her long brown hair spilled all around her. One arm is draped over her stomach, the other tossed back to rest near her cheek, with her hips twisted to the side. Her complexion seems a little flushed, as if the heat of the Fire Crystal might be a little too much for her. Touch her before she awakens and her forehead does seem a little warm.]

[But soon enough, her lashes tremble before parting, her violet-blue eyes gazing blearily at the temple roof overhead. She exhales shakily, blinking, before her head lolls to the side to see what else is around her.]

[After a few moments of quiet observation, she sits up, putting a hand to her forehead. Maybe she foresaw this moment. Maybe not. She at least seems dazed, but she isn't panicking or crying.]

Aoi...?

[He was right beside her a second ago. Did someone...?]

[Her curled fingers rise to rest against her mouth as she sits on the ground, brow furrowed as she tries to think. Her head still feels fuzzy, and the heat of the desert sun doesn't seem to have diminished in this place. She sees the Moogles, and her heartbeat quickens. This isn't her world, is it? And they're so cute!]

[But maybe she should get up first.]

B. House B-08

[Wow...what a nice, big house this is! Honestly, Akane hadn't expected anything more than a spare room at the inn, so this is a pleasant surprise.]

Hello? Is anybody--oh!

[Knocking on the door causes it to swing open. It was already ajar? She holds up both of her hands, surprise clearly registering all over her face before she decides it can't hurt to take a little peek inside.]

Anybody home?

[Doesn't sound like it, if the resounding silence is her only answer. So Akane steps inside. This is where she's supposed to be living now, so it's not like she's actually intruding. It gives her a chance to wander around the living room and the kitchen, though she's polite enough to stay out of the bedrooms until she knows which one is hers. That's when a quiet 'splash' draws her attention. That sounded like it came from the back yard. One more place to explore, then!]

[And that's how you find your new roommate, Akane -- kneeling in the grass next to the manmade pond, a small box turtle slowly wandering over her lap as she giggles girlishly. What? Turtles are cute, it's not her fault.]

C. The Triple Triad Natural

I won again? Yay!

D. The Laboratory

[Akane jumps back with a little 'EEP!' of surprise. Did...did her file just explode? It seemed to be doing fine when she was reading her character traits (and blushing), but as soon as it got to her history, all of the files started to run together and overlap before smoke started leaking out of the tablet. Then poof! She dropped it and flew back a step as the thing sparked and sputtered.]

[Well. There, er...there were a lot of intersecting timelines that were probably too much for this computer to handle. It even tried to track all of the branching timelines of Rhizome-9. Poor thing.]

[Embarrassed, Akane picks up the tablet carefully, jerking her fingertips back twice as it's hot to the touch, before she puts it down on the table. The Tarutaru working there looks at the tablet, then at Akane with a look that's half-angry and half-dismayed. Did Akane just give himm MORE work to do?]

Um, I'm very sorry. But my file seems to have overloaded.

A. Waking Up

When Akane calls, Aoi always hears. Ain't no mountain high enough, and all that shit.

Well, it helps that he happened to be walking around Aqures Ixen when the newbies started popping in. Fate, coincidence, big brother instincts, whatever you wanna call it. He finds her by the Fire Crystal, and he drops all pretense of his 'too cool for this shit' persona.

"Akane!" He runs to her side and helps her sit up. He presses his forearm to her forehead to check her temperature. She's feverish again. This better not mean this is fucking up their timeline more.

A. Waking Up

[Zelda softly picks a tune on her harp as the heroes slowly wake. It’s a sweet song, one filled with hope and strength. It falls like an invisible vale over the proceeding; moogles and heroes meeting while old heroes come to inspect those just arriving.

Her fingers move swiftly and as the tune fills the temple so does the beautiful voice of the young goddess. Her head is bowed slightly, her long golden hair spilling over her shoulders as she plays. It’s only when she reaches the end of the song that she realizes the young woman closest to her has awoken.

With practice ease she cradles the harp in her arm and stands. She lightly steps over, the skirts of her sundress swirling around her knees as she pauses at Akane’s side.]

Are you alright?

[Her tone is soft and kind as she extends a hand towards the girl.]

It.... exploded?

[ Hinata finds himself rather surprised; he sometimes visits the lab to check if parts of his file had resurfaced. But this was something new. ]

Blake Intro/ OTA

"It doesn't matter what house I've been 'given' by whatever benevolent dictator brought me here, I'm not staying," the young huntress in training stated stubbornly. Could she still call herself that? Did it matter now that Beacon was overrun by Grimm?

A small moogle with a black coat and purple ears followed closely. The little creature would not go away no matter how Blake snapped at it to leave her alone. His name was Noir and he couldn't do that he had said. It was abandoning the post he was given by his queen to do so. Also, he added, would she please stop running away from him and let him explain. This was not a kidnapping.

She spun on her heel and glared down at him. "Oh, I'm sorry. 'Summoned'. Because that makes all the difference. I told you I'm not anyone's puppet. And I'm not a hero and I don't want to be."

But we need you, the moogle had persisted. He told her of the things going on in Crystallis and about this Heran Empire - he pleaded with a passion that almost reminded her of herself in her younger days. When she still believed there could be heroes and happy endings.

It was painful to listen to and it did not improve her mood.

"Why are you being like this,kupo!?" Noir demanded, sounding as though he were losing his own patience. "You keep saying you aren't a hero, but if that were true, it would not be possible for you to be here. I know it's a lot to take in, but you have been suspicious and angry and scared since you woke up, kupo. Can you at least tell me what happened to you before you came here, kupo?"

What had happened? A picture came into her mind unbidden. That moment when Yang had rushed in, brave, righteous and standing no chance whatsoever... and Adam...

She felt a touch on her hand. Noir looked up at her and his expression was sympathetic but grave. "You aren't the only one suffering in this world, kupo. Let me help."

She yanked her hand away. "You should ask the last person who tried to 'help' me how that went."

Bloom had been pondering a few things, wondering around the place and considering what options she had left. However hearing something, she looked up, wondering just what exactly was going on.

"Is... everything okay here?" She thought she should at least ask or something.

Chrom wasn't sure if there would be anyone left at the Temple of Fire when he arrived. He'd forgotten about the arrival of new heroes completely until he'd spotted Dylas at the market. That meant he was making his way into the crystal plaza with a sack of groceries slung over his shoulder, and a bouquet of red roses cradled in his arm.

When he arrived, he could see that one of the Heroes, a young lady with long black hair, was not adapting well to the situation. It was...understandable. Especially given what they'd all recently learned about what a Hero of Light truly was.

Knowing there was little he could do to assuage her fears, he could at least let her know she had allies here. He stepped forward to meet her...just as she jerked away from the Moogle. Blake did have excellent reflexes, it was entirely possible that she might be able to dodge Chrom as he stepped toward her. Or she might get a good whiff of those roses just as she collided with the Exalt of Ylisse.

"My apologies, I hope I haven't startled you." And he hoped the roses weren't crushed too, as those were to be a gift. This wasn't exactly the way he'd meant for this conversation to start. "Are you all right?"

Intro

Zelda didn’t think she could really help those waking up. She’d been here since the beginning and bit by bit her own resolve was dwindling. Those called and arriving weren’t here to bring hope, it was only more people taken from their homes and forced into a fight they too will have no control over. It was hard to be hopefully but Zelda was determined to try.

As the Heroes arrived she sat with her harp in her lap. Her fingers lightly plucked the tune of the goddess while her beautiful voice followed the melody in song. It was a song that brought her hope and she desperately wanted those around her to feel it too; even if it was only by some small measure.

It wasn’t hard to hear the shouting over her tune. Her eyes rose, falling on the pair. She only heard pieces of the conversation but it was enough to give her cause for worry. She paused in her playing and raised, her fingers lightly straightening out the skirts of her dress before stepping forward. Her eyes were a crystal clear blue and in them held sore, pain, hope and strength. Zelda wasn’t as skilled with hiding her emotions now. Beautiful blonde hair spilled over her shoulders in loss silky strands and unlike the others in this city Zelda had long pointed ears.

Her lips curled into a delicate smile as she approached Blake, her expression soft and kind. “I am sorry.” It was probably not the best thing to say the moment someone whole up in Crystallis. “We are searching for a way home but we don’t have many details yet. I can share what we do know.” It was all she had to offer the lost girl.

The City of Aqures Ixen : Market

First thing after getting out of that Hospital (and conversely away from the people who seemed a bit too trigger happy to see him. Seriously, what was that about?), Zidane's first trip into town is to visit the local market. No matter where he ended up, where people are is where the rumors are right?

That and the myriad of easy targets for the thief to start lining his pockets with. He didn't have an gil to start with after all.

So down he goes, looking through the market at the various stalls set up. He hasn't stolen anything yet, mind. He has no place to hide out if he did, but instead he's merely trying to avoid having to deal with a task with no real direction.

Lo and behold, who should appear before Zidane's sharp eyes but a tall young man sporting black armor and a well-crafted gleaming sword sheathed on his back. He might have appeared intimidating under battle circumstances, but at the market, his countenance was easygoing and earnest.

And he looked to be seriously considering a purchase of a dozen roses.

There were many colors and varieties to choose from, and that pleasant expression of his became clouded with indecision. What kind would a woman like to receive? Red roses were the classic symbol of romance, he at least knew that much. But maybe it was too cliched for Robin's taste.

He pushed his fingers into his blue hair, broad shoulders rising and falling with a heavy sigh. Romance was not his strongest subject. Neither was guarding his coin purse, which was exposed on his right hip.

Y'shtola had been casting a spell, he stopped to cover her, and then there was light. A talking crystal (this seemed familiar) and then a voice telling him to wake up.

"Wake up, kupo!" He was lying on his back, somewhere noisy, and there was a weight on his chest. Opening his eyes, crystal in his hand, a Moogle sitting on him. "Ah, there you are! Took you long enough!" Sitting up, the Moggle flew a bit, hovering about his head. She was chattering about, probably about why he was there, and etc. He only half paid attention as he stood up, brushing off his (now different) clothes.

"BY the way, my name is F'lhaminn, you are?"

"Thancred." She continued flying around his new hat, which was big and had some sort of feather on it. She explained that he had housing, but not much more. "Can you point me that direction? I'll head towards my new home then." The moogle pointed, then flew in that direction. He rolled his eyes and followed, apparently they were going to be pals from now on. He might as well 'just get use to it'. She was an interesting moogle, to be sure.

"Hey, don't get lost, follow me!"

As she stepped outside the front door of the house, Minfilia turned and was surprised at the sudden figure nearby. Tataru couldn't help but speak up and this was one of those times where it's not really helpful.

"Kupo? Oooo, do you know this guy? Is he your boyfriend?"

Minfilia's response? Shoving an orange in the moogle's mouth, making the furball squeak and fly into the window, leaving a nice moogle print of the glass. After Alisaie's crystalization and learning about the true meaning as to why they're really there, Minfilia was pretty scared for anyone from home to arrive. But as much as she was worried, she was grateful to see that he was alive and out of harm's way. Somewhat.

"Thancred...?" she called out, her body tensing up because 'is this real'?
