[ Broken Crystals. Pods. Treasure Chests. Quite clearly, nothing of interest for a princess. They just should get over with finding Jessie and the others and get back home as quickly as possible. ]

We should move on, there doesn't seem to be anything of interest here.

[Kobato couldn't help but feel a little nervous in this place. It was just plain creepy as she kept close to at least the one person that she knew here.]

But... I don't understand why all of this is here in the first place? I mean it looks scary and do you think whatever it is was a good thing or not?

[Although she had to admit she kind of wanted to move on , but the others were so interested in the pods she didn't want to be annoying and say to move on.]

[He'd only looked to compare the crystals and certainly wasn't expecting a reaction like that one. Eyes widen a fraction in the milli-second he was startled for before narrowing eyes further at his own crystal. He's sure he's seen it shine like that once before-

He looks to Zelda to express this but then the others seem to have a different idea. He levels a carefully controlled look at Hilda; though it's not like she'd be able to see if he was irritated by her comment considering his helmet, before looking down some at Kobato also.

Nothing of interest here. Really?]

Do you know anything about Magitek? Either of you?

[Even though the robots didn't sound all that close yet, Sephiroth still kept his voice lowered.]

[She couldn't help but shake her head slightly. Kobato had no idea of pretty much anything. So that question was most certainly one she could at least answer with a smile clear on her face.]

I have no idea what Ma-Ma-Magiteck... Magitreck even is. [Yep, she just pronounced it wrong and was still smiling for the meantime. She was trying to keep a positive attitude right about now.]

But I guess it's important or something?

[Zelda watches the crystal curiously and begins to form her own conclusions. She reaches up and rests her palm on the pod.]

Do you think it's what our crystals are made out of?

[Kupola flew over and with a happy wiggle latched onto Zelda's shoulder. He is excited to be on an adventure.]

[ Zelda's crystal shines brightly when she rests her palm against one of the pod. A few clicks are heard as the pod's seal breaks and smoke escapes from it. It is still closed, however. ]

Oh wow, they're glowing!

[Kobato had been distracted in waiting for an answer when she finally saw that they were glowing. Looking on with amazement she started to walk on over, wondering just what was going on.]

Do... Do you think we should open the pod? Even with the creepy smoke?

Whatever Magitek is, there must be an answer here.

[ She blinked quite a few times as the pod unsealed. Well that was intriguing. And dangerous. ]

We don't know what's inside, be careful if you open it.

[Reasons why Sephiroth never touched anything he wasn't sure about. Especially in a laboratory. He had been about to answer Zelda and Kobato both but instead took half a step back from the pod when it unsealed, automatically his hand sought out the hilt of Masamune where the sword rested diagonally across his back.

Nothing else seemed to happen though. Yet. Still the shot of tension was retained while he looked from face to face, then back to the pod in case something decided suddenly to burst out of it.]

Careful. [He urged.] Who knows what may be contained in there.

Sorry. [Zelda was surprised by the reaction and slowly removes her hand from the pod. She feels bad for not thinking things through, realizing that it could have been worse.]

Should we look or move forward?

[Kobato cannot help but be a tiny bit panicked by now because of what he just said. What did he mean by what may be contained in there? Was there something in there?]

I-I think if there is something in there we should leave it alone.

[ The smoke slowly vanishes as if nothing had happened. A low noise of glass hitting steel may be heard coming from within the pod for an instant-- But that may be nothing more than an impression. ]

[kobatonotdobato]

[Kobato had moved in to take a closer look, not giving people time to do much, but as soon as she heard the sound of glass hitting steel, she jumped and had already within seconds gone as far away as she could from the pod, shivering and generally scared.]

I-I vote that we go.

[Even if they did leave it and go, it would be in the back of Sephiroth's mind that there might be a threat left. It was bad enough knowing there were security robots released, to have something you didn't know about possibly coming from behind you at the same time, could make their situation worse.

Fact is, they had unsealed something and Sephiroth couldn't leave this room in good conscience until it had been settled one way or the other.]

Get back.[He promptly commanded the others around, tightening his grip around the hilt of Masamune.]

[Once there was room Sephiroth would plant a high boot into the top section of the pod and dart back, finally drawing his sword as part of the same motion, in case something were indeed lurking inside it.

If not, then at least they would know.]

[ As the pod slowly opened it revealed a human body-- Crystallized. The way the body looked was identical to the cases of Crystal Stasis that had just recently happened to other Heroes of Light.

The crystallized body vacillated for a moment where it stood in the pod, before falling forward, smashing on the ground and breaking into countless tiny crystal shards. ]

[She takes a few nervous steps backwards her eyes on the pod as the figure emerged.]

Did he just?

[Zelda doesn't want to think that they might have just killed someone by opening the pod but that is the direction her thoughts take her. One hand moves to rest over her heart.]

I think we should move on.

[shinrasfinest]

[He'd been so ready to lunge at the shape of a human body as the pod opened. A heartbeat later and it's crystallized state was obvious. Sephiroth took a sharp breath in yet could not bring himself to relax.]

Damn-

[The crystal smashing on the ground shot a thousand sharp sensations right up through his entire being. It hadn't quite made him jump but the implications were stark indeed. Looking from Zelda, and then around the others nearby he forced himself to take a step back and slip his sword back into it's resting place across the back of his armor again.

He blew out a long sigh as eyes glared into the shards littering the floor.]

Yes. [He agrees, guilt coiling it's tight fist around inside his stomach. Sephiroth has seen death before, yet nothing like that. Had he really just ended someone? Who knows if they really had been alive still in such a state.]

[ Less than a minute after that, many more clicks are heard: the pods' seals broke as well and smoke escaped from them all. They are all still closed, but now it looks like one or two of them are slightly moving--

Meanwhile, the robotic noises seem to grow ever closer to the room. ]

[Kobto looked at each and every one of them as smoke escape them all. Is that wasn't bad enough it appeared that the robots were coming closer and closer and she knew what that would mean... fighting and she honestly didn't want to do that, or didn't know how anyway.]

O-Okay so are we suppose to be going towards where the noise is coming from?

[She glanced over towards the direction, trying her hardest to not look as scared as she generally was right now.]

[Sephiroth backed up even further as more of the pods apparently became unsealed. The hiss of the smoke quite deafening over the sound of his own pulse racing in his chest. He thought he saw a few of them moving as well but that could have quite easily been his imagination. He didn't like the tension in the air, at all. Just looking from one face to another through the eye slits in his helmet.

As silence settled again, he creased his nose up at the sound of the robots apparently drawing closer to their position and turned his head in the way of the only door which this room had.]

One way in, one way out. [He murmured before raising his voice a fraction more so that the girls could hear him.]

We're certainly not finding anyone, staying put like ducks in here.

[Still there was the impression that a few of the pods were moving, but it's a chance they're going to have to take.]

[She probably shouldn't lead, she is a healer and is only wearing a plan white dress. However, that doesn't stop her from grabbing hold of Kupola and gesturing forwards.]

Right. Lets move then.

[Zelda doesn't wait and starts slowly walking past the pods. She is careful as she walks as to not step on the crystal fragments by her feet.]

[ As they move toward the door, the impression that the pods are moving becomes a confirmation: something quite clearly knocks from the inside of the pod. Whatever it is, will soon have opened the pod.

If the robotic noises mean anything, the robot should be in the corridor behind the door. ]

[Kobato looked one way and then another. Dear god if they stayed here and waited till the pods were opened they could find out what was in side... But yet the downside to that was the fact that they hadn't a clue. Could it be more crystal people? Or something else? Never the less her eyes looked at the door. If they left now then sure enough there would be robots on them. Which to choose, which to choose?

Kobato didn't choose to think logically and instead just panicked, unsure of what to d.]

Something's getting closer to that door... And yet those knocks are getting louder. What do we do?

What can we do?

[ She prepared her bow, though she wasn't sure which side she should keep the arrows pointed to. ]

We should have left from the beginning. We're trapped now.

[Zelda slowly backs up so that she is closer to the group.]

I think we should stick together. If we are trapped here anyway, lets keep whatever might attack in front of us.

[She really doesn't know a lot about fighting so she states her ideas as suggestions more than commands.]
