Where: Aqures Tosf.
When: July 27th - August 03rd, twenty-eight years in the past.
Summary: As the Heroes of Light were transported to the past, they now have the possibility explore Aqures Tosf and take part in the events that ultimately led to their arrival in Crystallis. Feel free to start your own threads with your own prompts for everything your characters will do during this week! Please look at the OOC Post for information as to what can be done in the city and for what is happening during the Festival of Light!

Jack looks towards the soldier, shakes his head and shrugs. He walks a little closer, so that Sephiroth doesn't have to bother getting up. "Not a clue. Yet. Definitely not AI, but I haven't traveled too many other places."

He looks Sephiroth over carefully, and he drops some of the planning, Captain tone. Somebody didn't get out of that battle unharmed. "We should have plenty of time to rest before doing too much, though. You okay?" Jack should have some energy left for healing, maybe.

As Jack walked over Sephiroth took a sweeping glance around the scenery they found themselves in. He wasn't an expert by any means but it certainly didn't look like anywhere he'd been in Crystallis thus far; not that he'd been around much other than travelling between AI and Esdham from time to time.

Outwardly, other than the soot and general grittiness that being involved in a battle might give anyone Sephiroth didn't seem injured at all. Worn around the edges though, most definitely.

"I-" He answered but wasn't too sure where to take the statement. He didn't feel OK at all, but there were hundreds a lot worse off than him. "I'll be fine...it's nothing that shouldn't be expected."

After all, being in command hadn't granted him very much of the up-close-and-personal action that so many others had endured.

"Shouldn't be expected," Jack mutters. "Then maybe we need a new line of work." He sinks down to the ground next to him.

"I can give ya the when but not the where. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out. But what was she trying to accomplish here?" He glances over at the trees, the spot where they came in. "Is she trying to change something in the past?" Jack shakes his head, a little dejected.

"You've got any better idea about her motives? I know- next to nothing about her." A sigh. "She's scared. We all are, but she's got the power to do something about that fear."

He wouldn't say so but Sephiroth was grateful for Jack to come to sit next to him, already he had a slight headache coming on and keeping his neck craned up to watch Jack hadn't been helpful.

"She said that she wanted to show us something. I can only assume that that something must have been 28 years ago." He followed with a shrug, not knowing any more in the way of answers that Jack did. When he did find out, later on, Sephiroth would curse at himself for not being able to figure it out - even if he was understandably exhausted from the battle they'd been pulled out of.

"I do." He answered, honest to a fault as usual. He couldn't lie about not knowing something that he did even if Sephiroth most certainly didn't want to discuss the details. Especially as said similarities he'd taken from a future he knew only relatively little about.

"Essentially, she thinks that the only way for it to be fixed, is to allow the Calamity to take over the world. To destroy everything and consume the world in darkness...madness and fear." Sephiroth swallowed a bitter taste that rose out of no where as he thought back to what he did know as well as what Kalki had said to him. He couldn't look Jack in the eye, so looked away, tensed his shoulders up as he fought the cold feeling that followed.

"Then eventually...a new World will come about."
