Summary: As the Heroes of Light were transported to the past, they now have the possibility explore Aqures Tosf and take part in the events that ultimately led to their arrival in Crystallis. Damn it, Mooshoo!

[Yuffie digs through her pockets trying to find anything that resembles money. If he wasn't so insistent on taking it then she wouldn't be in this situation. She watches as the dough expands and reforms into delicious sweet buns. She knows that they have food at the church but it looks and smells so good.

She kicks the ground and continues to yell into the empty air.]

I'd have money if it wasn't for you!

Excuse me, young lady.

[Yuffie turns and in an instant her anger and annoyance disappears.]

Mooshoo? [It's him, looking exactly the same. She blinks realizing that she might have been causing a scene.]

That's right, have we met?

[The moogle places a paw under his chin looking Yuffie up and down as if trying to place her. Yuffie, for her part, is at a complete loss for words.]

Yuffie & Mooshoo

[ After seeing all the Moogles, Sheena had immediately started searching for Corrine, but no one had seemed to have heard of him. Did that mean they didn't know where he was, couldn't tell her where he was, or...

...that something had happened to him?

Oh...does that last one hurt. It'll be the second time she's lost a small creature with that name, and the ninja can't help feeling a pang over the loss of the Moogle she had barely known.

No. She can't think like that. He has to be here somewhere!

Coming around the corner, she spots someone just ahead talking to a Moogle, and the ninja rushes forward. Maybe this one knows where Corrine is! ]

Excuse me, but could I ask you something?

Yuffie & Mooshoo

Your name is Mooshoo… how old are you? [She knows that Mooshoo is ancient, more so with the way he goes on and on about some things, but she never thought she’d see him here or that he’d look exactly the same. She remembered hearing that moogles live at least twice that of humans which would mean that Mooshoo is still old now.

Before Yuffie could get her answer Sheena came up to them.

Yuffie looks over at the woman and blinks. She knows that she’s a new hero but this isn’t really a good time for answering questions. Yuffie just nods, swallowing the tension and trying her best to relax.

Mooshoo, for all his wisdom, fluttered there wondering if this new person was talking to the young girl or himself. They certainly seem like an interesting bunch and oddities were his current interest. He nods his head wishing for the girl to continue.]

[ Sheena looks from one to the other, sensing the tension between them, but she hasn't been able to find Corrine, and who better to ask than a fellow Moogle?

Of course, the idea that he hadn't been born yet had occurred to the ninja, but after seeing so many Moogles here that she had seen before, she just had to find out. ]

Ummm... I was wondering. I'm looking for a Moogle that wears a blue bandana as a mask. Have either of you seen him?

[ Something told her to not mention his name, just in case. ]

Ah....

[Before Yuffie can say anything Mooshoo chimes in.]

What's their name? There are a lot of visitors this time of year kupo. I'm a visitor myself.

[Either way, Mooshoo might know him.

Yuffie steps towards Sheena and shakes her head as she whispers to the hero.]

You do know that the moogles here won't know you... right?

[ninjainviolet]

[ Sheena leans close to the other girl and nods. ]

I know. I'm worried about him all the same.

[ It's an association thing...

Turning back to the mobile, Sheena speaks up. ]

His name is Corinne. Have you seen him?

[Mooshoo shakes his head.]

I'm afraid I have not Kupo. There are many moogles, those who aren't enjoying the festival might be at the mognet office. I might suggest you try there.

[He smiles turning towards Yuffie.] What of you kupo? You called my name, did you need me?

[Yuffie glances between the weird new girl and her future moogle. What is she suppose to say to that?!]

I...uh... you see... the thing is...

[ninjainviolet]

Oh.

[ Sheena can't help the note of sadness that creeps into her voice. She had hoped she'd find him, even knowing that he wouldn't remember her. And not even knowing she'd see him in the future eased that pain. ]

Thanks, anyway.

[ Seeing the sudden unease in the other girl (and Sheena's not weird, thank you very much), the ninja wracks her brain for a way to help her out and can only come up with probably one of the lamest ideas ever. ]

You knew his name? Are you psychic?

[ Hey. Why not? Everyone has those flashes, don't they? ]

[Yuffie looks at Sheena with her mouth hung wide. Psychic! That’s the best this chick can think of? How is that a plausible thing! Though as her mind continues on its small rant Mooshoo seems to be giving that some consideration. He remembers a psychic but all of their predictions have been rather depressing so he dismissed them.]

Can you tell me anything else then Kupo? [There is a glint in his gaze and Yuffie swears he’s laughing at her.

With one more annoyed look casted at Sheena, Yuffie turns, trying her best to play this new role.]

You will meet a princess one day though I can’t say when. Also your daughter wants a stuffed toy.

[She isn’t technically lying and it seems enough for Mooshoo.]

Interesting kupo. Thank you.

[Mooshoo bows his head and then turns away from them to flutter off. Yuffie is glad when he’s gone. She turns on her heel facing Sheena with a scowl stretched across her features.]

What the hell was that?!

Yo, Yuffie.

[ Yuri saw them from a distance and approached them without really reading the air until he got closer. His unusually bored expression changed a little as she stopped next to her.

Somehow the air just changed when he got behind Yuffie. That was her moogle. He wondered where his stupid moogle was. Not that he was worried or anything, really. ]

Something going on with you two?

Ah, No! I mean... I know, someone who told me about you... AH! YURI!

[Yuffie turns slightly pulling Yuri's arm down until his ear was next to her so she could whisper to him.]

Stupid! He doesn't remember me cuz we are in the past!!! Mooshoo's an old geezer!

[Not that it is so easy to remember a moogles age.

Yuffie turns back to Mooshoo and smiles.]

Yeah, just... um... I was told to look for you by... your daughter. I got a little frustrated. [She's back peddling so far and she vaguely remembers that Mooshoo had a young daughter... she hoped he did.]

Miki? [Mooshoo sighs softly.] She really did want to come too. It's nice to meet you, kupo. What can I do for you?

[dammit_flynn]

[ Yuri didn't really know how to read the air too well. At least, not until she freaked out calling his name loudly. He got pulled down and made a face as he was pulled down. ]

Yeah, and? Geez, these guys don't look that smart if you ask me.

[ He replied but he kept his voice low anyway. He eyed the moogle and back to Yuffie as she quickly tried to say something to the other. ]

[Yuffie rolls her eyes at Yuri. The problem is that Mooshoo is very smart; he’s always been smart which has been the cause of Yuffie’s constant frustration. Now she just has to think of something that Miki had said to her.

She tries to remember anything that Mooshoo might have told her about his family.]

That’s right! [She holds up a finger with a smile.] Miki wants a pet frog, I mean a stuffed animal.

[That sends Mooshoo into a deep thought while Yuffie looks helplessly over towards Yuri. She had no idea what to do anymore and really she doesn’t want Mooshoo to go. She wants her moogle back.]

[ Yuri didn't really get it, but he didn't say anything watched the scene play out. He hadn't seen her moogle before so he didn't really know how smart the thing was. Hell, he didn't really think that the moogles were very smart. His was a mouthful of nagging, though he could be useful at times. ]L

...You sure know a lot about his kid.

[ He replied as a matter of fact when she spoke to him about that. Yuri wasn't sure what to do but to play along with this ploy she had. ]

What the stuttering girl is saying is that we ran into your daughter a few ties and she mentioned she wanted a stuffed animal of sorts. We don't know where to get something like that for a child, much less a moogle child. You mind giving us a hand in finding one for her?

Yeah, what he said.

[Yuffie grins and Mooshoo seems to know that something is up but says nothing. He nods slightly and then waves at the pair to follow.]

She really likes animals. I don't know about a frog, kupo but we can see what there is. Do you two mind helping? I'm only okay at carnival games. [Which isn't true, Yuffie knew that Mooshoo is really good at absolutely pointless things and one of those where carnival games but she keeps her lips closed.

As Mooshoo walks ahead she falls in step next to Yuri.]

Mooshoo used to talk about Miki a lot. He has a pretty big family and I used to catch him writing them letters.

[ He's good at bullshitting a lot of things. Yuri doesn't think he's buying the crap he was saying to him, but hey if he's playing along, Yuri will too. He pulls Yuffie along as Mooshoo gestures them to follow him. ]

No problem. I think I got this under control.

[ He grinned as Mooshoo said that. It's a good thing he didn't really know her moogle because it was easier to talk like he didn't know him. ]

Yeah, he sounds like it and for the record, I think he's onto us.

[ He replied as a matter of fact. ]

Selen & Galahad

[ Selen had been rather concerned with her moogle for some time now. Ever since she found herself in this foreign and new place somewhere in time, she was at a loss about her moogle.

She did search for him but she found nothing. Yet, right now she was still walking about trying to gather her own information. Most of the time, Galahad would help her gather the information she needed along with her own procured information. It made her job so much easier, yet right now, she was alone.

This was a bit troublesome. Not that she wasn't used to being alone, though. ]

A-Ahhh, Galahad you are such a handful just like my husband.

[ she chuckled. ]

Can you explain to me what you meant by that?

[ Selen turned around and blinked for a moment. ]

Hmmm...? Galahad I was just talking about you--

I'm afraid I don't know your name miss.

...Hehehe, I was talking about my husband.

[ It was hard to hide the concern in her tone as she spoke to him. ]

[Ravio can't say he expected this. Was it common to time travel? But in all honestly, if one could travel from one world to another, perhaps crossing the boundaries of time is also possible.

Taking matters into his own hand, Ravio had decided to see what was going on for himself, though he was careful to avoid danger if necessary. He even went as far as equipping his White Mage job in the event healing might be necessary. His wondering brought up to Selen, a hero he was more than familiar with. He'd prefer to have been with her anyway.]

Ms. Hero! [He glanced at her and then the moogle before looking back at her.]

You're safe!

[ Selen turned around at the sound of Ravio calling her. Of course, the child never ceased to call her "Ms. Hero," and Selen had long stopped trying to get him to stop. The boy was going to keep at it no matter how many times she told him. Selen had many names. At least, this one had a better ring to it. she waved at him as he approached her and patted him on the head. ]

Hello my wonderful mage, Ravio. How lucky for me to see you here. I am of course safe.

[ She replied with a cheerful laugh before clearing her throat and turning to the moogle. ]

I'm afraid I didn't know you share the same name as my husband.

[ She bowing to the moogle a little. ]

Perhaps we can chat?

[ The moogle seemed skeptical for a moment, eyeing her in suspicion for a moment before speaking. ]

I suppose that is fine. What is it that you wish to ask, madam?

[helpsheroes]

[Ravio accepted the head patting as part of being acknowledge. He sure did enjoy it when Heroes noticed him. It made it easier to help them when the time called, and so his heals were on standby should danger arise.]

What's going on? Is that your moogle?

[Or was? What in the name of Lorule was going on?! He never did speak with the woman several heroes spoke to.]

[ Ravio was always useful in that aspect. Selen was forever grateful for his assistance in that regard. She couldn't possibly have been able to do a lot of things she did without him giving her a hand. ]

No, of course not silly.

He's someone I just ran into. I was talking about my husband and he happened to have the same name!

[ Selen replied cheerfully, hiding her own disappointment, but neither Ravio or her moogle could notice. Selen was just that good at acting. ]

Then my apologies for intervening into your musings, madam.

[ The moogle replied. Selen didn't really seem like she wanted him to go. ]

[Well that was the least of their worries. Ravio gazed about the surroundings, things were different. This wasn't even the same town, so where were that?]

Do you know where we are, Ms. Hero?

[wings_of_steel]

[ The moogle seemed to be eyeing her still though it didn't seem like it was going to get much out of Selen for the time being. ]

Honestly speaking?

I got no idea.~

[ Sorry she's not that informed yet. She's going to get that information eventually. ]

[He pondered for a moment.]

What about you?

[His gazed fixated on the moogle she was talking too. They were usually key holders of basic information. Most of the time anyway.]
