Summary: As the Heroes of Light were transported to the past, they now have the possibility explore Aqures Tosf and take part in the events that ultimately led to their arrival in Crystallis. [ Ravio was always useful in that aspect. Selen was forever grateful for his assistance in that regard. She couldn't possibly have been able to do a lot of things she did without him giving her a hand. ]

No, of course not silly.

He's someone I just ran into. I was talking about my husband and he happened to have the same name!

[ Selen replied cheerfully, hiding her own disappointment, but neither Ravio or her moogle could notice. Selen was just that good at acting. ]

Then my apologies for intervening into your musings, madam.

[ The moogle replied. Selen didn't really seem like she wanted him to go. ]

[Well that was the least of their worries. Ravio gazed about the surroundings, things were different. This wasn't even the same town, so where were that?]

Do you know where we are, Ms. Hero?

[wings_of_steel]

[ The moogle seemed to be eyeing her still though it didn't seem like it was going to get much out of Selen for the time being. ]

Honestly speaking?

I got no idea.~

[ Sorry she's not that informed yet. She's going to get that information eventually. ]

[He pondered for a moment.]

What about you?

[His gazed fixated on the moogle she was talking too. They were usually key holders of basic information. Most of the time anyway.]

[ The moogle looks at him. ]

Are you both implying you are unaware of your current location?

[ Now he's curiously suspicious of them being villains of some sort. Which is a typical response when he felt like they were antagonizing themselves. Selen just pats Ravio on the head as she spoke to him Galahad. ]

What the little guy means is that we're travelers outside of this location. We don't really know where we are or how we ended up here. It was merely by accident of course. Right sweetheart?

[He paused for a moment, wondering if he worded that too sharply. Though, luckily for him, Selen knew what he was talking about. They were a pretty good team, weren't they?

Ravio let out a friendly laugh.]

Right! The situation is a bit complicated and would take awhile to explain, but if you really want me to, I can tell you everything!

[This would be a deterrent for most people. No one wanted to hear Ravio rant.]

[ Selen was grateful for Ravio to play along with her. Galahad on the other hand didn't seem to believe her too much, but he didn't seem to find it too hard to follow. ]

Is that so? I suppose I could lead you to a safer location kupo. This place is called Aqures Tof, kupo.

[ Selen nodded her head. ]

Yes, what he said and that definitely helps us answer the question of where we are.

[ In which Selen finds rather suspicious. Of course, she's sort of heard of this place bits and pieces, anyway. Ah, Galahad did look a lot younger too. ]

[Finally, the first flag in their investigation. Though similarly named, that would explain why nothing looked familiar. They weren't even in the same town anymore. It raised more questions, but they were bound to uncover answers along the way.]

I noticed the festivities taking place. What is Tof celebrating?

[ Selen was glad for that as well. Yes, that explained a lot and having her say things the way she did made it seem like they were travelers if anything. She hoped that the moogle would just leave it at that.

They all had their own reasons for this. ]

Festival of Light

[ Galahad mused to them. Selen didn't really say anything but she might have a thought about it. ]

Hmm, that's interesting.

[helpsheroes]

Ah! The Festival of Light? Does that mean heroes have appeared?

[Which is implicative whenever Ixen had a Festival of Light. The names weren't too far off, so he assumed they were in the same country.]

What do you think, Ms. Hero?!

No. It is to celebrate the victory of the "Heroes of Light" over the "Calamity from the Skies," that happened two thousand years ago. It's surprising that you have not heard of such a thing. However, I am curious to what you mean by those words.

[ Selen got really quiet when Galahad said those words to her. This didn't seem like their time or place. It seemed different and the Festival of Light held a meaning that wasn't what she knew. Or at least, what she thought she knew. ]

What do I think? I wonder honestly.

[ She place her hand under her chin. ]

This is very interesting, however.

[Well, legend did state that the Calamity was subdued once before, and that there was hope in doing so once again. Though if he was being honest, it would be better to rid it altogether. If it came back once, it can come back again and again.]

About the arrival of heroes?

[If anything, he was slowly starting to piece things together.]

So if the Calamity has been subdued for so long, where are the heroes now? Or have they all passed?

[ If things could have been that easy, then "Heroes of Light" didn't have to be sacrificed and other "Heroes of Light" wouldn't have taken their spot. It was just how it is with this kind of world. Selen didn't really care for the word as much as the amount of sadness that came with it. It seemed like there was more to this Heroes of Light than she originally knew. ]

Yeah something like that.

[ Selen replied shrugging. Galahad seemed to be eyeing them still with the amount of questions they had been asking him. ]
