Summary: As the Heroes of Light were transported to the past, they now have the possibility explore Aqures Tosf and take part in the events that ultimately led to their arrival in Crystallis. I agree with you on the not-messing with it. It seems like it's really really easy to mess up badly. Now if we start dealing with ghosts and monsters from the Neitherworld, come get me.

[Trying to be helpful, and change the topic. Johnny does not look good with a scowl.]

I could fill a book with the shit the Initiative changed, or tried to. I mean, they were tryin' to, but it didn't always go as planned. And then time just started to, like, fall apart. Holes in reality. Goddamn dangerous stuff.

[He may not look good with a scowl, but he does it a lot. And the topic is one he feels pretty strongly about. He sighs, folding his arms and settling back into his seat. They were here to watch a show after all.]

I dunno. Without knowin' exactly why we're here, ain't much we can do anyway.

[Lydia sighed, hands going to her lap and folded.]

True. Do we even know what we're here for? Jack said we've been brought to the past, and others said Kalki wanted us to see something.

No idea. She wanted us to "see something"? [He thinks that over, looking very serious as he does.]

Yuna said in our time, this place is ruins. But uh, I didn't ask why at the time. [It's because he was drunk.] What happened to this place?

[Lydia was quiet, trying to figure out if she'd heard anything. She'd been so busy with everything, as she hmm'd softly in thought. Quiet for several moments, before her eyes widened and she made a soft noise of recollection.]

Oh..oh no.

[Turning, clutching at Johnny's sleeve and motioning him closer so she could whisper.]

It was mentioned in school. There was an explosion...at the end of the week the city is destroyed because of a massive explosion. Most of the people...don't...survive.

[She'd trailed off, and while Lydia regularly ventured to the land of the dead and was best friends with a ghost, this was different. This was larger scale tragedy.]

[Johnny's eyes widen with shock at that news, and after a moment of processing it, he grabs Lydia by the wrist and leads her to follow him out of the theater. Once outside, he finally speaks up.]

Okay. Okay. Are you sure about this?

[Lydia blinks, and kind of sorry she spoke up. He's not mad at her is she? If she is remembering right, they have bigger things to worry about, and now she's really not sure. Especially once they get outside and he's scowling at her.

Her eyes are still wide, and she's wringing her hands now, nervous. Rarely seen that she was like that.]

I'm not...I THINK that's what they told us but they didn't linger and there weren't many details. Would any of the other Heroes know?

[Exsilium has done a lot to Johnny. None of it was good. But knowing he was back in time, and a huge disaster was on its way, it was like his training kicked right back into gear immediately.]

Maybe they do. We need to ask. We need to find out the how, where, when. Then maybe we can stop the why part. Everyone scattered for the most part, but there might be people back at the church.

[So...he wasn't mad at her? OH good. Lydia breathed a sigh of relief, and was able to regain some semblance of her normal demeanor.]

Well let's GO!

[Her turn to try and drag him now, as she grabbed his arm and started to tug him back out of the city.]
