When: September 25th - From 12:30 to 22:30.
Summary: Heroes of Light will relive the same ten hours over and over again until they find a solution. This may be a blow to what's left of their sanity, but that's also a window of opportunity! The OOC Post is here for more information! It's not too late to sign-up, anyone can still jump right into the event! However, your vote for the total number of loops will not be taken into account any more.

Speaking of which-- Votes are in and this time displacement madness will be solved after 191 loops. Practically speaking, this means characters going through every single loop will live 2 months, 2 weeks, 3 days and 14 hours in the span of half a day. Hopefully they won't mind the food for the day, the clothes they're wearing or what they were doing when the loop started, because that's what they'll be stuck with until the end. There are some events described below, but there will be no NPC replies. Feel free to partake in these events and of course, make your own!

The Flence Salesman
— All Day Long —
There is a salesman from Flence in the city, and he is going for every person he sees in the streets. Adults, children or elders, humans or tarutarus, it doesn't matter to him so long as he can make money! He will try to sell to the characters specialties from Flence and some crystals at absolutely awful prices, but he's open to negotiations and beyond that, he's extremely persistent. Normally, nobody would care about this, but given the salesman isn't be aware of the loop, he'll keep doing the same things over and over again... Hopefully he won't see your characters, otherwise he might just bother them for every single loop.


Moogle Demonstration for the Future of Mognet
— 12:30 => 16:00 —
For a surprise one-day long strike, the Moogles are demonstrating! There are roughly 800 Moogles together (250 according to the government, 5000 according to the striking Moogles) in the demonstration, all singing slogans and some even holding placards with "More Gil and Less Work" or "Give us Kupo Nuts" signs.

They started at 10:00 and left from the 09th District, but they will go throughout every district and explain what their protest is about. They'll finish at 16:00 and will be back to the 09th District to eat Kupo Nuts and drink Chocobo Milk together.


Biggs' Grand Return
— 14:00 => 22:30 —
After a month spent in the hospital, Biggs is finally back! He leave the Hospital at 14:00 and head straight for the Castle of Aqures Ixen. Noticeably he still has a broken and bandaged arm, but he'll pretend to be totally fine and for that matter, he will be as rude and as unfriendly as ever. He will spend most of the day in the Castle, but will go in Palitutu's Lab by 19:00 to meet with Cid. Among other things, he will side-eye everyone and will accidentally splash Cid's coffee on a Hero of Light working there (or on a Moogle, should the Hero have the good sense to avoid Biggs next loop).


Renovation of the Blitzball Stadium
— 15:30 => 20:00 —
The repairs are going steadily and today, a special dome from Trano Golsaucia is being transported and placed on the Blitzball Stadium, brand new and much more modern than what Aqures Ixen used to have! On the downside however, the airship bringing the dome and the work being done on the stadium are all very, very noisy. So noisy that everyone in a two-district radius will be bothered by it.

Under normal circumstances it would have been only for a short time and easilly bearable, but here it will happen for every single loop.


Have You Heard of the Heroes of Light?
— All Day Long —
Throughout the day, a few people are going to go and knock on every doors in the city, to talk about a most fascinating topic: the Heroes of Light! They will speak about how it is said the Heroes of Light are in Crystallis and how they managed to defeat the empire without difficulties back during the attack! Then they will go on and ask for a contribution (hear: money) to help the Heroes of Light in their cause. Of course, these people are dishonest and the money will go into their own pockets, as they don't believe in the Heroes of Light to begin with.

And of course, they'll go knock on doors during every single loop!


The Accident
— 22:29 => 22:30 —
The one minute that started it all. Who is the imbecile who committed the mistake on Palitutu's computer? Is this a Moogle or a Hero of Light, maybe Cid or Biggs? Whoever it is, after the first time, at 22:29 the program will start again on its own and will activate the loop right at 22:30, sending everything back to 12:30. The characters may try to run more programs to block the computer, cut the energy source or even bomb the building if they so wish...

But these archaic and barbaric solutions won't prevent the next loop from happening. Only hard work and scientific solutions shall prevail!

Billy, Out of the Loop

1. C-01 and the route to the Hospital

Billy started off the days the same way he had since he’d gotten the job at the hospital. He rose with the sun, pulled on the blue nurse’s robes the hospital had issued him, and set about making food. He cooked like he was used to caring for children, or like he had learned to prepare meals when he was young and then had never moved on from there. Today’s lunch was carrot sticks and peanut butter sandwiches, left whole for the one he packed to bring with him, cut diagonal with the crusts trimmed off for the several he made and placed back in the ice box. He wasn’t sure which roommate ate them, but food generally seemed to disappear in their house, and Billy wasn’t sure some of the others would survive if he didn’t restock.

Preparations done, he set out and walked through the city. Already, people were bustling around. Billy sidestepped a salesman, but ran into a group of missionaries for the Heroes of Light. Billy snorted at that.

They tried to solicit money from him, which Billy secretly thought hilarious. Not that he let that show. He gave them his best stone-faced stare while declaring, “I am a devoted priest of the Ethos Church, thank you,” which was a lie. But they didn’t know that. He kept moving. His money was going to the Aqures Orphanage, a much more worthy cause than these phony collectors were representing.

2. The Hospital

As one of the newest workers at the Hospital, Billy was doing a lot more fetching of coffee and cleaning of bodily fluids than he was doing actual healing work. But he did it without complaint. Overall, he was much more professional and polite when wearing his nurse uniform than he was around the city. He used his calm yet authoritative priest voice when he addressed patients, and he listened to their complaints without even the hint of an eye roll.

Whenever he was given a break, he settled in the staff lounge with a bundle of fabric and a sewing needle, carefully stitching a satiny strip to the edge of a fleecy square of fabric. When he finished one, he tucked it away and moved on to the next square.

If some strange circumstances happened to cause an influx of patients Billy was called in from his break to help with patient intake. He took up a clipboard and called up the next person in the waiting area.

“What brings you in today?”

3. After work/open

Billy did not have any special plans that evening, so he was just going to head back to the house, unless something came up.

Hospital, Just Before Close

Wrapped in the scarlet cloth of the Red Mage, Rukia sat patiently, and cast another Cure spell on herself. It closed up some of the wounds temporarily, but the poison coursing through her veins caused the magic effects to wear off quicker than she liked. Her magical energy was running low, and her breathing was getting heavier and more ragged. Numerous bite marks scored her body, ripping through flesh and armor both.

Finally, her name was called. Clutching at her arm where the poison had first been inflicted, Rukia hauled herself unsteadily up to her feet, and shuffled up to Billy. She was on the verge of collapse.

She looked up at him with unfocused blue eyes, staggering, and tried to speak.

"H..."

Her lips were dry, and the word stuck in her throat. So she tried again.

"H-ham...ster..."

Rukia Kuchiki, Out of the Loop

A. LIBRARY/RESEARCH - LOOPS 1-191

[For Rukia, this is where she begins. Having agreed to meet Robin after lunch at the library, she's running a little late, a cheese roll clenched between her teeth as she shuffles her load of books and notes. She may not be a Scholar, but she takes their studying pretty seriously.]

[Just as her strength starts to waver, she makes it to the table and drops her book load. Unevenly stacked, the paperback third from the top causes the others to spill to the side. Rukia goes to retrieve them, being particularly quick to snatch up the ridiculous super scary horror novel she just finished: The Curse of the Dripping Paper Bag. Chilling stuff. She makes a grab for it, face scarlet, since she's not so quick to share her book preferences with most others just yet.]

B. THE CROOKED FLENCE SALESMAN - LOOPS ??? (Depends on whether or not someone puts a stop to Rukia's poor buying decisions)

"Young miss!"

Rukia turned her head, realizing by the third call that she was the one being addressed. She blinked, curious as the merchant rushed up to her, and she turned to better face him.

"Have I got a deal for you. A very good deal! I can tell that you are intelligent and business savvy, so I'll cut straight to the chase." WHUP. His cloak was whipped to the side, revealing rows of sparkling crystals attached to the inside.

Rukia studied them with interest. She'd heard that her job class of Ninja required a certain crystal to unlock a new ability. The sparkle and shine was completely lost on her, but the practical value was very attractive indeed. "Do you have an Invisibility Crystal?"

"'Do I have an Invisibility Crystal' she says. Of course I do! They're in high demand, after all, and therefore they're extremely rare. Ordinarily I wouldn't sell for less than 20,000 Gil." He watched as Rukia's brow knit, waiting for just the right moment of disappointment before he swept off his hat. "But you, your charm has captivated me. Ahhhh, it's bad for business, but I like you."

He held up his hand, fingers spread.

"Only 5,000 today!"

Oh! "Sold!" Rukia exclaimed, unable to believe her good fortune. What an incredible deal!

C. COOKING WITH ANISE - LOOPS 1-191 (Uneven, as Rukia won't be available every night.)

[Tonight, Rukia is determined to learn the finer art of baking a cheesecake. She purchased the ingredients that Anise told her to get, along with a basket of fresh red berries. This is truly Angeal's favorite? She has yet to understand why, but he's been good to her, and she'd like to return the favor with a surprise. The dessert seems more challenging than anything she's had to make so far, so there's a degree of trepidation. Nonetheless, she's determined to give this her best shot. As long as the directions are followed, she shouldn't run into any trouble.]

[Patiently she waits in the kitchen, carefully arranging everything on the counter. She's looking forward to meeting this high caliber chef, who must surely be the most gifted cook in the city. How lucky she is that she's able to secure a valuable time slot!]

[When she hears the knock on the door, Rukia hurries to open it. ...And there's a young girl about the same height as Rukia.]

D. CHOCOBO RENTAL - LOOPS 10-15 (Actually learning to ride a chocobo with abject failures until she gets it right), 16-60 (YEEHAW GIDDYAP)

[Now that Rukia has become aware of the existence of a time loop, there are some important questions at hand. First, where is the origin of the phenomenon located, and second, how far does the loop extend? Does it cover the world, or just the city? If there is a boundary, what happens when the boundary is crossed?]

[To maximize her exploration, she knows she'll need a chocobo, so she's off to the ranch to rent one. That's the place Cloud mentioned, so she hopes he's there and willing to loan her a bird for the rest of the day's limited time frame.]

Loops 10-15

[Boarding a chocobo is...difficult. She strains to get her leg up as high as it will go, clumsily scrambling onto the chocobo's feathered back. ...And sliding right off of the other side to land in a pretzeled heap. If she thought mounting a chocobo was hard, that's nothing compared to actually learning to ride. The only thing Rukia's ever rode in her life was the back of someone's shoulders. This is pretty different. Multiple times she's thrown, bounced off, or unable to stop as the chocobo merrily races over the plains with a happy trill as the shinigami bellows in frustration. She'll get the hang of this. ...Eventually.]

Loops 16-60

[By now, Rukia can hold the reins confidently, or at least with a degree of competence. She's become accustomed to the chocobo's stride and rhythm, and knows when to lean forward and clamp her knees, and how to direct the bird with a light tug of the reins. By the end of the loops, she's actually pretty good. Perhaps she'll look into being a Chocobo Knight sooner than later.]

E. TRAVELING - LOOPS 16-191

[Whether by chocobo, airship, or strictly on foot, Rukia's going to make good use of this time to not only search for the solution to the time loop problem, but learn more about the city and world at large. Offers to join her on one of her journeys are gratefully accepted. Having a partner to work with not only makes the travel more enjoyable, but it helps to have someone with which to brainstorm theories and solutions. ...Besides, she's always wanted to try riding one of those airships. Hopefully they're scheduled to fly today. If not? It won't take much convincing to hijack a ship if it's for the sake of breaking the time loop.]

F. MOUSTACHE WARS - LOOPS 65 (messing around due to boredom) & 70 (the formal challenge)

LOOP 65

[Rukia's frustration is starting to mount. Despite her best efforts, it feels like they're no closer to finding the solution to break the cycle. It's starting to make her a little lonely for those who don't seem to be aware of what's going on, not to mention a little worried. She wanders through the city in search of those she knows. If she finds someone she knows to be outside of the loop, she makes a note of it, so they can make plans later. But if she chances on someone who's caught up in the loop (or at least, she THINKS they are) enjoying a nap, she's seized with the impulse to draw a black marker from her pocket and sketch a moustache on her victim's face. It'll be gone tomorrow, so there's no harm. At the very least, a new reaction would be appreciated.]

LOOP 70

Listen up!

[Rukia's assembled her small army of time loop trolls, all standing in a circle, all armed with markers.]

The objective is simple. Go out into the city and draw as many moustaches as you can on as many people as you can. One hour before the loop ends, we'll tally up the results and declare a winner. The winner will receive a deluxe set of colored markers!

[She holds up a drawing of the markers, because actually buying the prize will be fruitless. It'll just vanish the next time the loop resets.]

Once the loop has been broken, you can claim your prize. The rules are few: Stay within the city limits, and do not draw facial hair on someone who has already been marked, or the points won't count. The contest begins now!

[GO FORTH! Rukia darts off, uncapping her marker with a smug and confident grin. This contest will be a piece of cake.]

G. TRAINING - LOOPS 1-191

[There are many reasons why Rukia can be found either practicing at the training hall, or battling monsters on the plains. The one benefit she sees to the time loop is a chance to maximize her skills in a short passage of time. When the loop ends, she's positive that she will be a far more accomplished Ninja and Red Mage.]

[So she practices diligently, not only with the katana, but the other weapons she's supposedly able to equip as well: short blades, knives, longswords, and even getting a little more accustomed to the armor she's allowed as a Red Mage. She practices her spells, and finds them far easier for her to learn than weapons. Perhaps she should pursue one of the more specialized mage jobs later, once she's mastered the jobs she has now.]

[But for the moment, there's vast room for improvement, and she means to take full advantage of the opportunity while she can.]

Olivier was getting tired of these loops, but saw a chance to help with training for many of the heroes. She happens to find Rukia at the training center during one of the loops, and watches for a few minutes before approaching.

"It's good to see some people taking advantage of this strange flow of time," she greets.

If Rukia had seen her around much, she would notice Olivier is dressed quite differently than usual.

[Robin is curious about the stadium's renovation. She isn't an architect, but she loves to see how things are built -- after all, a tactician might need to bring down a castle or a wall someday -- and thus it's a fascinating exercise. She watches, curiously. The airships, the noise...]

[But as she's walking down from her rooftop vantage point, to get closer, she stumbles on the fourth stair down. Robin yelps -- trips -- and goes tumbling down! Yeek!]

[Every loop. All loops. It ends up with that as Tsubomi finds herself trotting alone on her Chocobo Hana as she hears the sounds of tumbling. And the redhead can do nothing but yelp as her friend and guildmate comes crashing towards her.]

Ramza, in the loop

1. Moogle Demonstration (Loops 1-7)

Ramza had tried searching in the library to find some sort of explanation for over 28 years of moogles protests and unrest, but he’d turned up nothing conclusive.

Where better to find out than from the moogles themselves. As the fluffy white army flew past, Ramza fell into step with them. At first, they seemed to think he was making sport, but soon enough, he was handed a sign that had proven too heavy for the moogles who’d help it. It read, “Fair Treatment NOW, Kupo!”

Ramza held the sign aloft, and the moogles who had carried it sat on his shoulder and answered his questions as they marched. The Hero did not learn much more than he’d already known, but he stayed with them through a few more districts until the moogle with the sign felt rested enough to take it back.

(When the day ended and he found himself in the sea of moogles again the next day, he immediately went to Item Shop and demanded a Remedy. When that did not bring him out of his assumed hallucination, he spent the rest of the day at the hospital.

On Day 3, Ramza decided that if he was insane, he might as well be useful about it. He chose a different moogles to speak to, trying to find any discrepancies in the moogles’ story or any clues about how they could be appeased. He spent the rest of the week doing the same, but with little to show for it.)

2. The Training Area Loops 8-20

When the moogles’ answers all started blending together, Ramza took to leaving the protest when he awoke, making his way to the training fields instead. Just because he was obviously going crazy, it did not mean he could not train his body. That seemed to work well enough. Just his mind was trapped in this cycle.

The first day or the eighth, reckoned from the start, Ramza swung his Excalipoor at a training post until he collapsed from exhaustion, just to work out his frustrations. The weapon did not damage the equipment like a real weapon would, so he did not feel guilty about it.

The next day the ninth day, the blisters were gone, and Ramza figured he’d gain nothing from strength training. He switched to teaching himself new techniques, like the way he’d seen Sephiroth slash his sword or Tifa deliver a punch. He stopped when he ran out of things to teach himself.

3. Around the Town Loops 21-???

This might be Hell, Ramza told himself, as he awoke for the twenty-first time in the middle of the moogles protest. He had thought he’d lived a good, upright life, despite having been labeled a heretic, but who even knew. The Holy Man who had defined the Ivalicean’s ideas of morality had been a fraud. Maybe everyone went to Hell.

But the people around him seemed blissfully unaware of his struggle. Well, if there was no help for Ramza, he might as well put himself to use seeing if he could help anyone else. He began to seek out the Heroes he knew, to see if there was anything he could do in a day or in a string of days that never moved forward to make their lives better.

Kija watched the young man train. He did seem quite impressive with the way he was handling his weapon (or it appeared at least so to Kija, as he was not familiar at all with handling them) and the way he swung it against the training post.

It takes another few moments until Kija decided to speak up.

"You seem to be quite experienced with weapons."

1. Moogle Demonstration LOOPS: 1-191

Every morning D will drop off Lefty so the Moogle can participate in the protest. This is how he keeps track of when a new loop begins. Lefty wakes D up with grandiose plans of Moogle equality. D sees no problem in this. He things everyone sit-ups have equal treatment to a degree. Though he had no interest in explaining his philosophy.

2. Learning to Ride Chocobo LOOPS: 1-10

For days since his arrival, D has noticed people riding these large birds. Interested, he seeks out the farm to learn more about these creatures; anatomy, biology, habitat, and when how to ride and possibly tame one.

Thankfully, due to riding the cyborg steeds in his own world, D can grasp riding a Chocobo without too much difficulty. It feels a bit awkward with the squawks and feathers, definitely a noisy bird, however, he feels a bond growing between him and the beasts.

Research/Experimentation/Travel LOOPS 11-191

Born in a test tube and experimented on fire most of his life, D finds this looping as quite beneficial to host own researches. In the beginning, he visits Zelda to read the books she's written to keep track of the events that have gone on. He notices that she is unaware of his return during the looping and makes note of it. This prods him to see if others are aware of what's happening.

The townsfolk remember nothing as do some of the Heroes. However, there are a handful who do and he listens to their repeated events and how it's affecting them. If asked, it might take some coaxing, but he'll share what he knows.

D also visits the Scientific District and library, even the Palitutu's Lab where he will proceed to make headway - if it's possible - into what's going on and if there's a way to stop the looping. What's hard for D is that the science in your world differs from his so unless he recurrences help, he will probably do more harm than good.

After the 60th Loop, D will start actual experimentation. He will begin to test the limits of his 'jobs' and sunlight tolerance. Jumping off the tallest buildings, traveling the depths of the ocean, poisoning himself with a variety of toxic cocktails then try to come up with antidotes in the allotted time. He starts figuring out the extent of his crystal; what he's can and cannot do with regards of his jobs and more ways than he can count how to kill a person. Though he is very careful not to include others in his experimentations.

D also travels to see the different sites and ruins of the places where Zelda wrote about in her books. If some of them are still accessible he will investigate them for clues. Back in the cities, the Hunter will do small favours for people in exchange for information about Calamity and the Heroes of Light. His thirst for knowledge is incorrigible.

4. Night Training LOOPS 1-191

D is a scheduled man so he will always end a loop cycle with training. Because he wants to learn about his Vampire job since vampires after different than his world, and the flexibility of his Dragoon, D is training at night. Knowing that the cycle resets, D holdss nothing back. Often treating a place apart in the process

4. Night Training

Lydia had been curious about her new housemate, especially since he also had the Vampire job. Plus his appearance (aside from his looks) screamed dark and spooky, which was right up her alley. She'd observed at first, and his level of skill even as a new vampire was high above her own. It took a few cycles (and Lydia finally working up her courage) to approach him.

Making purposeful noise as she approached, hopefully before he started his training. "Um...Excuse me?" She has her own sword strapped on but isn't dressed to differently from how she normally is in her black loose pants and shirt.

He approaches them in uniform, and gives them a few questions, completely unimpressed by the total BS they're spewing. The more he listens, the more he wishes he didn't have to approach them. This is crazy.]

[Graham's been in a good mood most of the time since he started his new job a few days ago. Disassembling things for Shoopuff Airlines has been immensely gratifying, since he gets to take apart all manner of machines and parts that are new to him.

While on his breaks, Graham has been wandering around town learning where everything is. In case of any attacks like the last one this city suffered, he wanted to be sure he knew were everything was. Today he'll be wandering past shops, browsing the windows. It was a good way to learn more about the people here, too. He can be found standing outside a clothing store, head cocked and brow furrowed at a clothing display. He's never been much for fashion, but considering he comes from the 1930s America, his idea of fashion was much simpler than Aqures Ixen.]

[After his shift, Graham comes across the moogle strike, wondering what all the fuss is. He watches them for a few moments, reading signs and listening to chants, when he spots his own moogle helper among the crowd. He finds this immensely entertaining. Kuprono, when he notices he's been spotted, finds this immensely mortifying. He can't even deal with Graham.]

Kuprono! This is very impressive. I'm really moved by this display! I would never have thought that someone as timid and mousy as you could gather the courage to protest for change! Keep fighting for what you believe in, and you'll have the world eating out of your hand in no time!

[The moogle slowly slinks backwards into the thick of the crowd hoping no one notices, but everyone has. There's no way anyone standing nearby can't hear Graham.]

[Rukia had heard the demonstrations every day. As such, it's a little earlier in the loops when she decides to investigate the source. ...She really wishes they didn't look so cute in their rallied protest, when she can see how badly they want to be taken seriously.]

[She happens to be standing close to Graham, arms folded, brow beetled. Better pay? She had always assumed that they received a stipend similar to what the Heroes got. Hmmm...maybe she should talk about this with Chappopo, once the time loop dissolves. Rukia doesn't want to bother her now.]

A) Evangelists (EVERY FRIGGIN' LOOP!)

The day starts out the same as Deadpool absentmindedly opens the door to his house to find a bunch of people talking about the Heroes of Light, how awesome they are and how they need donations to help their cause.

"Money? You're asking for money?" Deadpool said, chuckling. "Do you know who you're talking to? I'm one of the Heroes of Light! Where's the money at, hm? I can't just keep mooching off my Moogle here, ya know!" As the Moogle inside yelled at him, the Evangelists look to each other in confusion before they look back to see Deadpool pointing a musket at them.

A-1) Evangelists - 2nd half of the loop

NINETY ONE TIMES HE'S HAD TO DO THIS! NINETY ONE. At this point, the day is started with a bang. Literally as Deadpool puts a hole in one of the evangelists and has taken the money.

"There had BETTER be a damn good payoff after this!"

B) Biggs' return - 2nd half of the loop schedule

Do you know how many times he's been scalded by Biggs' coffee? Do you? As if the Evangelists were a problem, there's this! So, now, in the middle of one loop, Deadpool's waiting in an alleyway, pipe in hand, ready to beat Biggs senseless over the scolding hot coffee.

"Bub, this is going to hurt you a lot more than it will me...!" He muttered.

Someone stop him before he does something stupid?

C) STREAAAAAAAAAAAAK! - 2nd half of the Loop

Still stuck in the loop, still being driven nuts. Oh, well, if he's going to be part of this, he's going to make good use of it.

Dressing more feminine than usual does not mean she is acting any more feminine than usual. She spots him standing their in wait for Biggs to pass by mostly because she was going to see Biggs. She has no idea why he wants to beat Biggs, but she will intervene.

She approaches before Biggs passes and stands in front of Deadpool, her arms folded across her chest.

"You do realize that he just got of the hospital, right?"

Johnny D'Amico | looping

[It doesn't take Johnny long to lose his nerve about what's happening. In the last place he lived, scientists were constantly experimenting with time, and after a few years it had terrible side effects. It started with time looping - first with events just overlapping, and then later just something straight out of Groundhog's Day. It seems Crystallis has jumped straight to stage two. After Exsilium hit that, holes in time opened up at random, and people vanished into them without a trace.

Suitably, Johnny is a bit panicked about this happening again. They had just time traveled recently, and his logical conclusion is that this is the side effect. And the idea that Crystallis might suffer the same fate was terrifying to him.

While he started the day volunteering at the Blitzball Stadium construction, he leaves in a hurry to look for anyone else who looks like they can also tell something's out of the ordinary. He really hopes he's not the only one.]

[The monotony and constant knot in his stomach about this is getting to Johnny, and he needs some distractions. Working isn't helping, so he instead spends it either at home practicing guitar, or out weapons training for the most part. They both help, at least, and it's pretty neat that he can do this every day like this. But it's not much of a comfort.]

[Johnny's not a man known for his willpower. If you want him during this period, you'll find him drinking in one of the pubs. Drinking a lot. It takes a lot for a half demon to get blasted, but he's seemed to manage it. Fuck it, who cares? Tomorrow it starts again and he'll have his sobriety and money back, so what does it matter?]

[Okay, enough of that. Time to stop wallowing and get down to business. Johnny starts looking everywhere and anywhere for what could be causing this. After a few loops, he makes it to Palitutu's lab in his searches and comes across the computer, but he's not the guy for this job. He thinks what he's looking at could have something to do with it, but he really has no idea. Time to find someone who does. If he sees anyone who he knows has been looping, he'll stop you for help.]

Loop 36

[OOC: The Coin Flip Of Fate declared that this happens while Johnny's still in the loops.]

The novelty of their situation hasn't worn off for Jack. He's done this dance before, knows the steps, and wrote a few of his own. Unfortunately for him, he doesn't realize that there's somebody else with this precise experience. Some of the other Heroes have known, but some haven't. Which puts one Johnny D'Amico squarely in Jack's sights.

Johnny's was the only file of the Heroes that Jack had read, and he should have known that it would have brought up more questions than it answered. Brought up more ideas than it answered. The thought of 'is it worth it to risk whether or not Johnny will remember' fades in and then right back out of Jack's head. Any form of regulation on his actions is so far gone, by this point.

Jack strides across the room, approaches off of Johnny's shoulder, and puts his drink on the table with a solid sound. "Seat taken?" It's really just an excuse to get Johnny to turn his head and look up at him. Pay no attention to how close Jack is standing, Johnny. Means nothing, honest.

1st few loops

Moogle Protests
the Adventurer had been roped into this. When the Moogles found out that he was a certified Moogle Mail Carrier, he had been drafted into holding a sign post and marching around the town. Clearly this was something that needed to be addressed as the first few times he looked apologetic, irritated and then tired.

Beginning of the Loop - several days in
"Have you ever wondered what it would be if we could just... Sea, you're not paying attention."

Sea looked down at his mushy cereal, and started to weep a little at breakfast.

Biggs
"Ow! What was that for?"

Trying to talk to Biggs was like a brick wall. Several times this happened and URGH. He stormed out every time.


Mid Cycle
"Shouldn't you be at the protest?" Asked Moggle Mog as the Adventurer sat in the middle of a cafe, away from all the insanity.

"I'm taking this loop off," said the Adventurer absently, squeezing mustard onto his plate. "Before I go nuts."

"Nuts?"

"Nuts. Crazy. Deranged. Uncontained. Three fries short of a happy meal. GONZO!" And he held up a smiley face drawn with mustard and ketchup.


The Fun Begins - Late Looping
After numerous hours of trial and error, and helping out with the scholars in retaining the information on how to beat this thing, the Adventurer was changing his routine.

It started harmless at first, making pottery, breaking pots, smashing old broken windows, the harmless stuff.

And then things got weird.

He would be approaching other loopers urging them to spend the day playing cards. Or causing a chocobo stampede through the town. Or running naked with Deadpool. Or joining Deadpool in beating up those damned "Evangelist-types". One time, he started to try and breed a fat chocobo.

He might kiss someone, who knows.

Either way, he was taking full advantage of the time looping until he felt de-stressed enough to properly do the loops again.

Mid-Cycle

"Sounds like we all need a vacation after this." Sonic said, walking by wearing his Moogle costume and holding up a sign of protest.

"We need to hurry! If he's on vacation, we need to double time!" Bean replied, waving his arms crazily.

Ventus | in the loop, then out of the loop

[A. Training because we're responsible children]

[For the first dozen loops, Ven spends much of his time as he normally would: out in the plains around the city, training like usual. He's zero help when it comes to computers, so his contribution to reversing this entire mess is minimal so far, to say the least.

On the plus side, it's a good chance to test the capacity of his Jobs without worrying about the switch limit. If you head outside the city walls, you may find him experimenting with any of his classes or their combinations, or catching a nap under a tree on occasion. Sometimes he'll be working on his custom dances and trying to perfect these moves in such a way that his de-superhuman-ized self here in Crystallis can use them most efficiently.

The further into the loop cycle he gets, the less he's seen out here, because even his dedication has its limits -- at least, it does when he keeps running into the exact same monsters and the fights get so predictable that it's more detrimental to his sanity than it is useful for honing his skills.]

[B. Around B-10]

[Might as well hone some other skills while he's at it. Sometimes he's trying his hand at cooking again (no grease, nothing with grease; nothing with fish, either), other times he's back in his room working on an outfit for Rae and yes, that is her mailbag and yes he is hand-embroidering it with a cute little flower pattern.]

[C. BURDS]

[Now and again Ven can be found at the farm, either practicing his riding or just spoiling the birds with pets and snacks. (The longer the loops go on, the more likely you are to find him holding pretty one-sided conversations with the chocobos.)]

[D. SCREW IT - loop 26]

[He doesn't have a lot of money saved up, not compared to Heroes with actual jobs, but he takes most of his savings and buys a ton of kupo nuts to gift those protesting moogles. Kindness towards the moogles, or towards everyone else who's tired of being approached by them? IT IS A MYSTERY~]

[E. Wild Card]

[catch him wherever because he's going to be everywhere in and around the city looking for something to do help]

[F. 32nd loop onward AKA he's losing awareness because shelter this poor child's already broken mind]

[Starting at the thirty-second loop, Ven loses his immunity to the repetition of time. After hanging around the house for a couple hours to read, he'll head into the city -- dodging the salesman, the moogles, and the money-seekers with ease since he's memorized their patterns by now -- and drop by the lab to check whether any progress has been made in fixing the time machine-program-thing. After that he kills time around the city.

And then it repeats. But you don't want to take advantage of this sunshine child's ignorance do you what kind of jerk are you anyway]

D

[Bloom was on patrol, making sure that people don't bother others to much. She felt like she should at least do that as part of her job. She couldn't help but give a small smile when she spotted someone giving kupo nuts to the moogles.]

That's a nice thing you've done there. I think a little kindness goes a long way after all.

Kaji - Non-Looper

A: Moogle Demonstrations

Each loop starts with Kaji here, with the Moogles. He has taken a very specific interest in their plight, and is mingling with as many Moogles as he can talk to. He is also taking a great deal of notes, getting any Moogle's story about their homes, the disruption following Artemicion's disappearance, anything they want to talk about? They've got a ready ear, and Kaji seems to be taking every complaint in stride. In addition, Shinji seems more certain of joining the demonstrating Moogles if Kaji is here. It takes a while before the timid Moogle leaves Kaji's side, but the more the both of them talk to everyone, the easier this seems to get.

Kaji walks along, but he's mostly here as a support, the Moogles should be taking their futures into their own hands, and he's rather proud to see it.

B: House A-14.

When the Moogles break for food, Kaji can be found taking his own break, quietly taking tea on his front porch. There's an extra sly smile on his face, though, because in between compiling notes on the Moogles, he is very carefully writing an ornate letter. Something extra special for someone extra special? Or just another piece in another plot of Kaji's? Maybe both?

Ever since the trip back to the past and him helping the moogle which turned out to be one of the betrayers, Fai has been wanting to help them more and more. So today he was there standing within the group of moogles, some of which were holding tiny little signs. Fai paused slightly as he could hear them speak.

"Maybe you could be a little louder? Would that help any? Maybe raise your signs if now?" Because apparently that was important.

Jack Harkness - Looping

The first time that time loops, Jack gets a very deep, bad feeling right in his stomach. That feeling from his training as a Time Agent that tells him something very wrong is happening. The same people, the same incidents, did the Moogles plan to demonstrate for two days in a row?

When time resets again? The fellow inhabitants of House B-03 just learned all sorts of new and unique combinations of swear words! It's a time loop. It's a god damned time loop. Kalki messing around again? Side effect of them trying to change the past, like the crystalization? Something happening elsewhere that the rest of the world needs to be kept out of? He's got the training, and the technology, he can figure out what's going on here.....

.....But tiiime looop.

Maybe he doesn't have to get quite...to work...immediately?

Around the City:

Okay, Rule number one of being stuck in a time loop? Don't fall into a pattern. Eat at a different place every day, do different things every day, you keep doing the same things, your sanity is the first thing to suffer. And without as- inventive a partner in crime as John Hart here to keep Jack's already non-existent attention span, his actions wander considerably.

Because rule number two of being stuck in a time loop? Take risks, take chances, because you'll never know what might break the loop. But don't do anything too risky. Because you never know what might break the loop, and what choice you'll be stuck with.

So, Jack's actions look a bit more like how he was in the early days of Torchwood, off his leash, and trying to piss off his handlers. Drunken bar fights? Check. Randomly walking up and flirting with strangers? Check, check, slap, and check, with the occasional success mixed in. Again, he'll never go to the same place twice, never try for the same person twice...at least not among the normal people of Aqures Ixen. Maybe his fellow Heroes of Light will be a different story.

At Home:

It's not every loop, but on quite a few of them, in the afternoons, music is coming out of House B-03. It's something he can practice, while getting a little better at each loop, an action that's the same but different each time. Anyone who knows Early 20th-Century Earth Musical Theater might recognize the piece. It turns out Jack has quite the voice on him. Whether or not that has to do with his Bard class? Remains to be seen.

Getting to work (late in the loops). Research Facility:

It's only after quite a few of the loops that Jack finally gets down to business. They can't be stuck here forever, can they? Rule three of being stuck in a time loop is STOP COUNTING, and yet Jack's mind can't help but tick away a count in the back of his mind. Somewhere near a hundred? How long it lasting versus how many times is he experiencing it? It takes him a few loops of keeping an eye on his manipulator right at the reset point before he figures out the source, and frowns deeply. Jessie...or whoever she really is. That research lab should have been his first stop. In he goes, when Time is set to reset again soon, to try to figure out what's going on.

Around the City

Kobato was carrying around a huge stack of flyers for her business and was unable to se in front of her, so it wasn't long before she found herself tripping over a small rock and falling flat on her face, sending papers flying everywhere. As she slowly got up she realized what had happened as she started to chase after the flying papers.

Lydia Deetz--Looper

All Loops

She started stuck in school, near the end. It took a few loops to catch on, as time-travel still wasn't something she was familiar with. Taking this opportunity, she started asking uncomfortable questions of the teacher, trying to probe more into the history of Aquares Ixen and Crystallis. Eventually she'll just start walking out--as this is how she knows the loop is repeating.

Loops 5-30
Lydia'll be making visits to her friends/heroes, and potentially knocking on doors, trying to determine who's aware of the loop and who's not. She's keeping notes in a notebook. Making it clear she's not one of the Evangelists, and she'll probably get into a few arguments or discussions with them.

Loops 31-50
This is starting to get annoying, even if Lydia can see there's opportunities in it. She's started heading straight from school to the Library, and is pouring through all the books she can on the history of Crystallis. Her scholar job is not yet maxed, but she's a decent enough student on her own and hoping her job-abilities will help her retain more.

Loops 51-100
Even as someone as curious as Lydia is, gets bored with her nose in a book ALL THE TIME. She'll instead head straight from school to Miss Armstrong's new training facility. Mostly because Lydia knows she's not a fighter, so she might as well practice. She's gotten the basics of defending herself down, but practice makes perfect? Anyone else there might be asked to be her partner, so she can improve.

Loops 101-140
Definitely going a bit stir-crazy now, and a bit reckless. Given the 'looping' though, Lydia's going to go take the opportunity to try something. She's heading out of the city, looking for ghosts. She's going to try and make friends. This may not go so well for her People are free to come with her.

Loops 141-191
Definitely suffering a form of stir-crazy not unlike Cabin-fever at this point. Lydia is, unless she finds something to take her curiosity, lying in bed at home and/or pacing. Annoyed and throwing things at the walls, venting. Good time to let all her anger/frustration/emotions out, after all.

Loop 42

Elizabeth waves, the looping has been fascinating, far less annoying than the abyss of time. She has gotten to challenge the remnants of the city guard twice, she even got to go into that all you can eat buffet restaurant and finally test her limits with no guilt, still it was beginning to grate.

"Is the novelty of this wearing on your patience as well, or are there still challenges left that you have to go on. Or are you not looping, worry not, if I sound crazy odds are you shall not remember."

Olivier Armstrong | Looper

[A: Loops 1-36]

Olivier hadn't cared so much about the fact that she was letting Alexandria choose her outfit for the day, but that was before the day decided to loop. For the first few dozen loops she will be extremely irritated with anyone who comments on her appearance. She could change, but Alexandria help up their end of the deal when they were under cover in the Empire, so she refused to back out of her end.

She will be heading to the laboratory for the first few loops when she realizes that some people are aware of what is going on, but others aren't.

"Does anyone here know what happened?"

[B: Loops 37-75]

Olivier knows doing the same thing every time the loop restarts would drive her crazy, so she's started taking a different route every day, but she still winds up heading to the same places. Sometimes she can be found checking out the crystal of fire in the morning, but other times she can be found there at night. She wanted to make sure no one was trying to use the crystal to cause problems again.

The other half of her day, she spends at the training center. After a thorough inspection to decide what work needs to be done to the place once the loops end, she can be found testing out how well she can actually move in the outfit Alexandria so kindly picked out for her.

[C: Loops 76-120]

Olivier can be found battling monsters out on the plains during these loops. She had decided to try out the Time Mage job, and needed to practice some of her skills. Being able to appear next to her foe, attack, then disappear was something she found rather useful. She spent much of her time out there on these days practicing slow, haste, flash, demi, and stop.

[D: Loops 77-191]

During her time practicing on the monsters, she started to wonder if any of the Time Mage abilities could help them in the laboratory, so she heads there next. She imagined that only those who were aware of the loops could make any headway, and they might need some help since everything reset and all progress they didn't memorize would be erased. She will go up to those in the laboratory she knows are aware of the loops.

"Can I help with my Time Mage abilities at all?"

"Ah, would you mean in general, or in specific?" Tazendra asked. She noticed Olivier had chosen rather different clothing today, and wasn't quite sure what to make of it. It was rather flattering clothing, which she approved of.

Chiaki, looping the loop

[Once it became apparent to Chiaki that there was some sort of time loop occurring - which honestly didn't take long - instead of trying to fix it, her thoughts immediately turned to how she might take advantage of it. Having played plenty of games with time travel as a central conceit, the ideas come to her almost immediately. Throughout the series of loops, she can be found working on one of three things.]

Streets of Aqures Ixen

[Having recently gained the Dancer Job, and unwilling to get rid of it due to the amount of work she put into the sidequest that unlocked it, Chiaki had already switched back to it and Bard before the loops began. It's a wonderful bit of serendipity on her part, since custom dances take time to devise and practice, and now she has plenty of that on her hands.

So early in the mornings and afternoons during the time loop, Chiaki can be found in and around the less noisy parts of the city practicing a few dances she remembers from a rhythm game she used to play at home. At first her movements are more rigid and precise than emotional and flowing, but as she works, she makes steady progress toward something more natural looking. And with the aid of her Bard Job, she can sing the lyrics while she dances. It's quite a show.]

Seventh District

[The main thing Chiaki is eager to figure out is how to convert crystal energy to electricity. Not for any sort of larger scientific advancement or societal betterment, of course, but because she has a video game system from home that she's been dying to play. So every morning when she's done dancing, she uses the Mognet Central song to switch to Programmer and Engineer to work on her other project.

With the goal of creating a universal power converter in mind, Chiaki makes daily trips to the laboratories of the Seventh District to gather parts and ask questions of the scientists that work there. And once she has everything together, she can be found around the district and sometimes in Palitutu's laboratory itself working on it. To the casual observer, it's a huge mess of spare parts, wires, and crystals, but she's doing some serious science here.]

All right, so if I connect this wire here, and replace this part of the motherboard with a small crystal...

[Many times, she fails and breaks everything, but she's got the benefit of a time loop on her side. The next day, she's right back at it, building on what she'd done before and correcting for her mistakes. Slowly but surely, as the loops continue, she's making some real progress toward a working prototype.]

Anywhere - For Non-Loopers

[On days when she's too tired to dance and feeling stumped on the scientific front, Chiaki spends her time talking to people she knows. But not just any people - she's specifically targeting anyone she's noticed that doesn't seem to be aware of the time loops. Chiaki has never been that good at talking to people, and she's always been terrible at dating sims, so she's looking at this as a chance to get to know more about people she doesn't know very well yet and also as a chance to meet new people. If she learns how to talk to some of them and what to talk to them about while the time loops are still in effect, maybe she can employ those same strategies when the looping is over and forge new and deeper friendships.]

Streets

[Kija happened to see Chiaki when her dance had already gotten better. It was an interesting kind of dance, different from his village, different from the dance of the princess as well.

Still, it was enjoyable to watch and he applauds when he had the feeling she was finished.]

Kyoko | Non-Looper

Anywhere outside, any loop.

Sitting with one leg tucked underneath her while the other dangles carelessly over the ledge of a waist level stone wall Kyoko leaned forwards to take a deep inhale of the steaming ramen in her hand. Best thing ever.

Removing the chopsticks that were being held sideways between her lips, the twin utensils dove in expertly. An elbow rests down casually against a knee as the red head started slurping up the noodle symphony.

Rose was out walking again, just wandering the city while her hands kept busy knitting together a moogle sized hat. Her hands moved with surety, wrinkled fingers making the needles dance quickly in and and around the threads of her growing creation.

When she heard the slurping sound, her reaction was instantaneous and without thought.

"Don't slurp your food!" She snapped, almost instantly feeling embarrassed by it as she turned towards the sound.

"Oh I'm so sorry, dear. Force of habit."

MarKus | Nobody said Loop de Loop yet!

(A) Haley's Anvil
MarKus's initial day is not that impressive... He planned on working all day, and he WILL work all day at his forge. Firstly trying to figure out how this... new Advanced Job is supposed to work.

Turning steel into something more... something totally elementally different is blowing his mind, but... it's probably because he's hung up on the science and not the magic parts... Which is the other problem... how's he supposed to do it anyway... Perhaps willing the metal into shape during smelting will do the trick? Who knows... not him but... it's worth a try to turn an ingot of iron into mithril.


(B) So I hear you like that show "Hikari no Yuusha"

As the evangelists come about preaching the word of the Heroes outside his shop, to his crew no less, MarKus approaches them with his mask on. It seems for all their high praise, they don't know something as basic as where one of them works and operates.

MarKus listens for a while, hearing them soon asking for 'charitable donations'. Money huh? Firstly, if they've been at it, why hasn't he, or anyone else made mention of this 'extra income', but secondly... trying to out-charity the man who makes free weapons for the newbies, steps above the vendor-trash they start with.

The man in the 'iron mask' as it were, steps up and slugs the one that appears to be carrying money, sending gil scattering across the ground. "I get paid for hard work, not just for existing. Don't treat my life like some kind of godlike diety so you can cash in instead of working hard for yourself! Quit being lazy, you fucking trash scumlord!"

It's very early in the loops when Jack stops by Haley's Anvil. He's seen the Smith quite a bit, but he's never needed his services until now THANKS, Luffy. Jack has been through enough loops to know what's going on, and he's trying to vary his activities from loop to loop, never get caught in a pattern.

"Hello?" Jack steps into the shop, but is instantly distracted by looking at MarKus' equipment. They're the kinds of things he hasn't paid too much attention to before.

Ales, Looper

A. Beginning, Loop 1-191

K-kupo!

[Ales deftly jumps out of the way of the falling cabinet and pulls his hat down over as much of his body as he can. One of the Moogles employed to help him reach the top drawers may have been a bit too...enthusiastic and not realized how far the thing was tipping over.]

Be careful next time! [He plucks his hat off his head as the Moogle apologizes.

However, for the first few repetitions, Ales doesn't realize it's falling, and the cabinet hits him regardless of the Moogles warning. By the end of it all, he's clearly tired of it all. God, please let this end so he won't have to avoid heavy storage furniture every ten hours.]

B. Palitutu's Lab, Loop 5-10

[Well, if the days is just going to repeat itself, Ales might as well take advantage of the extra time and get rid of his stress. Namely by searching the building for spare mechanical parts and putting them together. If one gets too close to his workbench, they can heard him giggling to himself.]

C. Around Yuffie's house, Loop 10-15

[Ales, wielding the finishes Potato Launcher (tm), dashes out of the lab, attempting to hide behind buildings, but alas, he is no ninja, and he might be spotted by you. Not that it really matters: he has who knows how many chances at this, and there's only one target he's after.

Yuffie. It's time to finally enact petty vengeance and suffer no consequences.]

D. Lab, Loop 20-191

[This is getting out of hand; it's time to put an end to this madness and get his normal life back. For the entire day, he shuts himself in the lab and pours over the computer.]

This would go faster if I could only take notes...

[Welp. Time to go through everything file by file and memorize what's in there. This is going to be along two months.]

E. Biggs' Coffee, sometime during the later loops.

[How many loops. How many more loops until this ends?! By now, Ales is sick and tired and he wants to take a nap without worrying that he'll be crushed by a falling cabinet. Maybe he should take a break and talk to Biggs, even though he has no reason to be close to that man. Whatever, anything that makes this loop different from the others.

What he doesn't know is that Biggs, now talking to someone else, has his elbow precariously positioned in front of his coffee cup. One wrong turn could send it flying...]

Excuse me?

[It takes only two seconds, but to Ales, Biggs turns around in slow-motion, and the cup tips right at Ales' face. He only has time to close his eyes before the hot liquid spills all over him.]

D

[Yugi paused slightly, looking up from something he had been looking through just so he could speak for the moment.]

Delivering Maps

Umiko was still getting used to working with the heroes. She hadn’t met that many of them and those she had met have been a mix bag of odd. She hoped she might meet more sane heroes and if not she was at least going to drop off the maps she made. She had been instructed to drop one off at someone’s house and the other at the Heroes Observatory.

After that she’s off to sell her maps to the other heroes if they want them. They were important to her so she’d make sure that each one was delivered to those who wanted it. They were up to date with notes on each one stating where repairs were being made and when they might be completed.

Moogles

“Rudder not now! I’m getting paid the same amount as you…”

Umiko was annoyed but there wasn’t all that much she could do about it. She understood that the moogle’s weren’t paid well and that wasn’t fair but did Rudder have to drag her into it. So Umiko was surrounded by moogles who were voicing their displeasure.

“I’m going to leave if you keep this up!”

Except that Umiko was still following along and she couldn’t help but wish that someone would need her for something and save her from her current situation

Jessie's Lab

She had said she’d check it out and since Bigg’s and Cid were there she figured that this was a good day to stop by. Umiko stepped into the lab without Rudder, who was on another moogle crusade and headed for the main terminal that everyone seemed to be crowded around.

She peeked over a few heroes shoulders looking around at those there. She knew that this was going to be the start and nothing new has been learned yet but she can’t help but be a little curious about the crystals that all the heroes had.

She’ll witness the coffee being split but unlike the heroes Umiko was completely unaware of the repeating hours.

Today Minako was planning no setting moogles up with one another while they were protesting. With each of her words it seemed like it was an impossible task. However she had managed to pair up at least one before placing her hands on her hips.

"That's one down. I mean sure, I get why you are protesting, but it's more important to have that one you care about by your side even if you are mistreated r not. They always have your back." She soon spotted the poor girl and pointed at her.

"You there! Can I ask a question?"

Yuffie: Non-looper

At home

[Yuffie’s not expecting the day to be eventful. She drums her fingers on the table waiting for Mooshoo to bring her tea. She isn’t currently allowed to get it herself, she isn’t actually aloud to do anything. For all purposes around Mooshoo she’s grounded. It’s what she gets for going through peoples files.]

This is stupid. I can do it myself.

[She’s angry but Mooshoo’s argument has been persuasive. She’s more or less under house arrest unless Mooshoo tells her she can go out. Luckily for her it only lasts a few days.]

Training yard

[In the afternoons Yuffie is found at the training yard. It is one of the few places she can go without Mooshoo fusing. She has a lot to think about but when she’s practicing she only has to think about her movements and stance. She moves like water through the motions that her father had taught her, focusing on each muscle as it tenses and relaxes into the next set of moves.

She’d be happy to spar or train with anyone and as she trains day slowly slips away as the sun sinks towards the horizon.]

[Bloom was still making her rounds around most places to make sure that there were no people bother others or normal crimes when she came across a familiar face.]

A Normal day: Flower shop

Terra was blissfully unaware of what’s happening all over the city. She started the morning like every other, waking up early and making breakfast.

She then left to collect flowers just outside of town. With an arm full of colorful buds she walked towards her shop to open and start the day. Tempest would already be there setting things up and selling flowers to anyone who’s there right after first light. After she arrived at her shop she sets her flowers in place and continues her usual day.

Just like any other.

Fai thought today he might as well do some nice gesture, so to the flower shop he will go. As soon as he entered he started to look around, having no idea what would be the best flower to buy.

Barkeep, non-looper

A. Door-to-door salesmen?

[The Barkeep spends the early half of the day in House A-08, doing housekeeping, locking up his writing material, and cooking dinner for later that night. He checks the stock of milk in the ice box (it tends to disappear quickly, thanks to his housemate), and satisfied with the status of home, he relaxes into the sofa-

Nevermind. Someone's knocking on the door. He assumes it's a neighbor and opens it.]

Morning...[That's not someone he knows. The con artist smiles.]

Good Morning! We want to spread the news of the Heroes of Light and ask for you support-

You mean you're askin' for money. I've seen this sort of thing countless times, and good chance people that go door-to-door ain't actin' out of the goodwill of their hearts.

[Without allowing any response, he closes the door. The two men look at each other and know again.]

B. Moogle Demonstration

[When afternoon rolls around, the Barkeep decides it's safe outside and takes the lack of people looming outside his house as an opportunity to check on the status of the rebuilding of his saloon. While there are indeed no people asking for his money, a herd of Moogles have replaced them, blocking the roads surround the block.]

...Alright, trouble's technically not in my place, but it still ain't the most ideal of circumstances. Move, please. Comin' through.

[Wading through a crowd of small Moogles is a lot harder than it sounds, and the Barkeep accidentally kicks one. It rises, fuming and ranting about how these poor Moogles suffer so much already with their miserable working conditions and lack of respect and...he's going to be stuck here all day, isn't he?]

C. At the Space Saloon.

[The Barkeep is not a manual laborer nor an architect, he's here to supervise the rebuilding of his saloon and check on the status of its completion. The building is mostly finished, with the floors and walls installed, but the sideboards, windows, and built-in furniture are left. After the run-in with the Moogle demonstration, he's exhausted, so it's off to find a place to sit and watch the workers. One who happens to Sephiroth. Oh no. Don't look at him, don't look at him...]

I thought you all might be hungry so I brought these. Sorry I can't seem to bake them into nice and delicious treats.

[She places the basket down which made most of them rush on over before she saw the other.]

Alice- Looper

[As soon as she figured out what was going on, Alice decided to make good use of her extra time. She's going to study. Mostly to spite Cid. She had offered her services as an administrative assistant at the lab, and he had politely informed her that he wouldn't pay her for that. The money isn't important, it's entirely about the principle of the thing. Now she's going to teach herself the basics of crystal science and apply for the job the old fashioned way.

So throughout the loops, she can be found in the library, the university, and the lab. Always with a book open and notes being taken. Sometimes she'll ask for a bit of clarification from one of the more experienced people at the lab. Of course she starts with the basics. But non loopers might be surprised when, in later loops, she seems to be starting with some pretty advanced stuff.

The only breaks she's taking from this mission are for food, and she's come up with the somewhat novel idea of trying a different restaurant every single loop. Just to try as many of the city's offering as she can.]

[With things feeling like they weren't getting anywhere, Yugi had found himself back at the labs once more in order to try his best at solving the issue. But after so many times, he had wondered if that could ever happen.

Sitting at a table with a slight defeated sigh he closed a book.]

This whole thing was much harder than I expected it. Even if I can read fast, what does that do except learn things that aren't useful now.

Bartz- Looper

The first few loops-

[Bartz will be the first person to admit that he's not exactly quick o the uptake. So it's about four or five loops in that he starts to wonder if something weird is going on. Kuposthenes is sure acting weird, saying the same stuff every morning. And a lot of people seem to be trying to do things that just aren't getting anywhere. Wasn't that guy fixing his roof yesterday too? How many time does he need to patch the same hole? Which is why he's finally approaching a fellow hero of light about this. Lucky you. If you're a looper, maybe you can help clear this up for him. If not, well... maybe he's just nuts.]

[After he's finally sorted out what's going on, the problem he has now is what the heck to do with all this spare time. Hmmm... he did just pick up the dancer job...

So, yeah. Bartz can be found in the park, practicing a couple of dances. Wonderwaltz is designed to absorb mp from unsuspecting targets. Temptango is a simple charm effect that lasts for a few minutes. Towards the end of the looping cycle, they may start affecting anyone who stops to watch. Perhaps someone should let him know.]

[Tazendra had noticed, if only because her circadian rhythm had been battered and bruised, but refused to recognize a 10 hour 'day'. 24 hours was quite short enough.]
