Summary: The Heroes of Light have a vision-- They are living through a hypothetical future where the Sage share his knowledge with them, and things went horribly wrong as some Heroes of Light became the villains in this timeline. Maybe they'll revise their thoughts on getting all of that knowledge.
Warning: The apocalypse, deaths, tragedies, overall a lot of very bad things.

"Heh, go ahead! Plenty of room here!" Sonic said, offering the pony one of the seats.

Shining did so, and set his drink down. "Haven't seen you in a while. How've you been?"

[they_call_me_sonic]

"Eh, same as I usually am, though it's getting harder and harder to enjoy things." Sonic admitted. "Half the time, I'm jumping in to give both sides the whollping they deserve for being idiots."

[shining_derp]

"I wish I could do that, but I can't y'know, really get that involved." Said Shining. "I worry about my family all the time."

"Eh, when you're as fast as me, it's nothing of a big deal." Sonic replied, grinning a bit.

[shining_derp]

Shining chuckled a little. "Been keeping all right? I mean... deadline's coming up pretty quick, and it's been awful lately for both sides."

[they_call_me_sonic]

"Best I can." Sonic said. "Tch, you'd think people would have had better luck than this. Or a better head on their shoulders."

[shining_derp]

"It's stupid. War isn't something I like after all, but worrying about my family here is quite another. People need to come to some kind of agreement."

"This is why I follow my own path." Sonic said. "We got a world to save, but everyone wants to mess up the other side! I got tired of that after the first month... or was it the first week?"

[shining_derp]

"Twilight's the same way. She wants to get everyone to work together on this." Shining sighed. "Well, no sense worrying for now."

"Heh, got that right." Sonic said, leaning back a bit.
