He had arrived parallel to Midna, but a few steps forward put him between the two younger heroes that had entered before them.
A slow draw pulls the Master Sword from its sheath, the slick sound of polished steel ringing in his pointed ears as another steps puts him out in front of them. His other hand unfastens the shield upon his back, hooking his fingers around the worn, leather cord that allows him to wield it. The last hinge of metal rings out as the blade becomes free, shifting so that the blade is pointed out before him towards the one person who could end this dispute, towards the last person he ever wished to raise the sword against.
Long ago she had gifted to him for his devotion, so that he could vanquish the threat against their kingdom and her people. Never would he have ever dreamed, even in his worst nightmares, that he would be pulling that very sword on the woman who had deemed him worthy enough to carry it.
There is no shudder or stifle in his voice. He speaks clear, calm, collected- no longer holding to anxiety or fear now that he knows what must be done.
"If I were you, I would choose my words very carefully. If I've learned anything from our last conversation, it's that words are wasted on you. Do not assume that this sword is just an ornament, you should know that better than any one. My friends here seem to think that they can sway you.. So do them the honor before we finally settle this."

She stopped just at the tip of Link's sword. Her eyes reflecting the pain she felt within her heart. She heard what the others said but there words didn't penetrate her heart... not like Link's did.
"Are you simply here to kill me then?" Her voice was soft and she moved so that his blade was aimed towards her. "Then do it. You know I can't ever fight you."
She'd leave it up to Levy. If she chose to step forward or not in their plan. There was no way that Zelda could fight Link or Midna. They were both important to her and she would have done anything to protect them.

Levy jumps up from her seat, rushing over to Zelda's side half in a panic. She'd joined this side of things to make sure she wouldn't have to lose any more friends, not for something like this to happen.
"Haven't enough people died already? Do we really have to fight again, like this?"
The alternative isn't pretty, but it's the best thing she can think of. But she won't be able to do it at all if everyone throws their lives away here.

"Third won't miss." she growled as she rolled her shoulder."Someone get your friend here before he gets you all wasted."
She lacked the panic Levy had, smiling darkly as she moved foreward. Looking over Zelda, she gave a quick, derisive snort before looking to meet Link's gaze.
"Settle the fuck down, Hero. 'Cause if you wanna dance, asshole, I'm cutting in."

She didn't move as the threat of the blue aura came dangerously close, she didn't even flinch. Only narrowed that eye of hers in Jack's direction. "I'm not sure you know this one," for a tiny thing, her voice was low and dangerous, "Probably best to sit this one out."
There was only a small pause before she went on. "You should listen to your blue-haired friend, aren't you here under her order, after all?" A flick of yellow-and-red shifted towards Levy, "More than enough people have died, that's the most sense I've heard from your faction in a long time. If you truly believe that -- then why try to stop us here? Why now?"

Not that Erika's defiant stance said anything. She had gauged that biotic power and scowled a little. It would hurt, but worse comes to worse, she could probably subdue their attack dog knowing that Erika herself was bulletproof and had taken far worse in her time.
"Stand down Link, and that goes for you too miss head."
gonna keep this moving along
"The Calamity... it's too strong. There's no way we can beat it. The best we can hope for is Kalki's plan. We have to use its power to create a new world. A better one, where nobody has to worry about how long they have before a brute force of nature eats the world."
Stepping forward once again, putting herself that much closer to the other group, Levy reaches a hand out toward Tsubomi.
"Please... I'm not doing this to hurt anyone. You have to believe me, Tsubomi."

"You will not attack." Her voice was strong, ringing through the air like a princesses command. She would not have Link hurt, there was a reason she took such great lengths to not see him. He was the only one who could stop her; Zelda's one weakness. That was never going to change.
Zelda's composure didn't waver as she looked into Link's eyes. She saw furry but beyond that she could tell that he was hurt. She had hurt him countless times. Her voice was soft meant for only Link's ears however those close to them would have heard the Goddesses words. "I'm sorry Link." She had given up but if the next round of heroes could defeat this then their souls might be free once more.
She felt Midna at his side and the rope constricting her heart tightened. She remembered their last conversation, the weakness and doubt that she had shown. Was that why they came? Was that why Midna brought Link here? It hurt however Zelda wasn't about to let that emotion show. She'd stand proud and tall. She wouldn't falter even with The Heroes Sword, the sword the goddess had made for Link, was pressed against her throat.
