Summary: The Heroes of Light have a vision-- They are living through a hypothetical future where the Sage share his knowledge with them, and things went horribly wrong as some Heroes of Light became the villains in this timeline. Maybe they'll revise their thoughts on getting all of that knowledge.
Warning: The apocalypse, deaths, tragedies, overall a lot of very bad things.

Yuna just shook her head looking down at her drink. "I don't know." She was silent for a long moment before looking back at her friend.

"I ran into Fai earlier." She paused. Everyone knew they had been married, it wasn't a secret just as it wasn't a secret that Fai left her. "I don't think... I wasn't able to convince him."

If she couldn't then who could? What could?

After Yuna's answer, Anise practically deflated. She stared absent-mindedly at her drink, likewise taking a long moment before responding.

"I'm trying to talk Tear and Jade out of it, too, but," she frowned, doing everything she could to avoid eye contact, "they just told me to go away. They said I'd just get in the way if I wasn't going to fight."

“I think… we should fight them.”

Yuna’s voice was a little stronger now. She picked up her drink and finished it in a quick gulp before placing the empty glass on the counter.

“They aren’t listening, so we’ll stop talking.” She didn’t really see another way to handle it and she’d fight her friends if they were wrong, she’d make them see.

"But they were our friends!" Anise paused, shocked at her subconscious use of the word 'were.' Even with how downhill everything had gone lately, she had still been hanging on to a small sliver of hope.

"What if they can snap out of it, and we fight them first? Maybe, maybe they just need a little more time, right?" Even as she said it, there was a part of her that knew it wasn't quite true.

Yuna shrugged her shoulders before heading towards the door. She was tired of sitting still.

"Real friends will tell them when they are wrong and stand in the way."
