Who: Cloud and OPEN
Where: The chocobo ranch
When: January 2-4
Summary: Cloud doing some busy work around the ranch and whoever feels like wandering over
"Hey! Knock it off!" Cloud gently pushed away the beak of the bird trying to nibble on his hair. With the weather outside, the chocobos were spending more time inside to keep them warm but that also meant that they were getting restless. On top of that, the old man who owned the ranch had it out for Cloud lately considering how he had slacked off from work after October and then went traveling after that. Zelda's time spent working at the Observatory also meant one less hand at the ranch and Cloud sword the old man's moogle was grinning too when he was given her workload.
But Cloud was less and less surprised to find he didn't mind it. As simple and inglorious as the job could be, he was enjoying the effort and the reward of it. Besides, with the whole Legendary Heroes thing he didn't have to force himself with the military to prove himself.
He felt...satisfied.
Smiling, the blonde set to work with pouring out feed for the lined up birds, humming to himself as he went.
