Ghost Hunting

[Chiaki isn't all that interested in the Ghostbuster Job itself, but what she is interested in is doing sidequests.  Especially the kind that get a reward as amazing as a free item from O'aka's shop.  So even though she's planning on discarding the Job at the end of the month, she's gone ahead and switched Engineer out for it for the time being.  All she has to do is capture one ghost, and then she can claim her reward.]

A. [It looks like Chiaki's found an easy target for her first ghost hunting job.  She's stalking a Polterpup through the streets at a distance, sneaking along and doing her best to stay quiet.  In fact, she's so focused on her quarry that she isn't paying attention to much else.  The energetic little pup dashes around a street corner, and she does her best to follow it, but it's at that time that she slams straight into another Hero of Light - your Hero of Light, in fact - coming around the other way!]

Oof!

[Chiaki goes sprawling to the ground, and the noise of ghostly whining and yapping can be heard fast approaching!  Think fast, there's a ghost doggy coming and he wants to play!]

B. [This time, Chiaki's after stronger prey, and she's sent out a message via Mognet a few hours ahead of time for some backup.  Anyone coming to meet her in the park, however, will find the gamer girl conspicuously absent.  What they will find after some looking, and if they follow the ghostly giggling echoing through the area, is a beautifully crafted porcelain doll sitting placidly beneath a tree.  The smile on its face is just a little too wide, eyes shining too brightly to be simply a normal doll.  And worst of all, it's holding another, smaller doll in its arms - one that will look very familiar to anyone who knows Chiaki.]

I made a new friend today!  Will you play with us?  My friend loves games.

More Ghosts

A. [There have been some strange goings on at Fairy Tail guild HQ lately.  Ghostly voices singing into the microphone on stage when there's no one there, wine bottles and glasses from the bar levitating themselves and pouring drinks for patrons that don't exist, chairs flying through the air and across the room when people sit on them... clearly, they have an ethereal visitor.  The only problem is, whatever's causing the problem doesn't seem to have any sort of visible form.  Worried for the safety of her guildmates, Levy reluctantly dons the Ghostbuster Job and sends out a quick Mognet letter to the Heroes of Light in general.]

I think Fairy Tail HQ is haunted.  Calling all members of the guild and anyone else who wants to help.  I don't know what's going to happen when we find and corner it, so be ready for anything.

B. [And just when that threat is dealt with, there's another ghost menacing Levy at the library.  This one seems much more angry and malevolent, hurling books at her and trying to knock over heavy bookcases and displays on top of her.  She isn't sure what she did to deserve this, but Levy's clearly too scared to deal with it on her own.]

H... help!  Someone, please!

[Yelling in a library is a taboo of the highest order, but this thing is damaging the books.  Rules be damned for the moment - whatever this is, it needs to be stopped!  Unfortunately, as she's running through the stacks, Levy's lost her P.K.E. meter.  She needs backup!]

It's all in the name of Ghostbusting!

WHEN: October 11th - 31th (Except the days she’s doing other stuff.) @NIGHT
WHERE: Aqures Ixen; Your Home and sometimes just outside the city.
WHAT: Chasing after ghosts
NOTES: Yuffie is doing this for the monster arena so feel free to toss any ghosty we might need! Depending on where in the city she’s tagged Imma say she’s chasing a different ghost/monster. You can catch her anywhere so feel free to put her anywhere.
WARNING: None: Possible ghost puppy sightings.


Yuffie was used to moving quickly, even if her jobs didn’t always allow her to move as quickly as she liked. In this case she was happy with her job combination though it wasn’t so obvious by what she was wearing. She had the proton pack strapped to her back and then her usual shorts and tank top. The fact that it was almost winter and cold as all hell outside did nothing to deter her.

This particular specter was giving her the run around, as most seemed to. At first she had followed her PKE meter but after a while she was able to follow its trail. Some of these new creatures sent her on crazy chases through the city while others blended through walks to escape her notice, luckily she had an ace up her sleeve; metaphorically speaking.

Using her Time Mage abilities she blinked to the other side of the wall, her strides never changing as she bolted after the figure. Of course, the problem with this was that she didn’t know what was on the other side of the wall. It might have just been an abandoned or closed shop but then it might be someone’s house. Not that Yuffie was all that bothered by it, her sights were only on the fiend that was trying to escape. She just hoped that she wouldn’t crash into anything.

Ghost Hunt Ahoy

Summary: Yuri and Selen are out to do some ghost hunting their style. So there is a possibility of fighting a lot of spirits, helping them, or getting into deep shit in the process! Anyway, it's also a catch it all for anyone who wants to join in.

[ Yuri Lowell ]

[ Yuri was enjoying a typical day in Aqures Ixen, wandering about and doing whatever he pleased. He was casually eating an apple while he was strolling down the street. Everything felt a bit foreboding to be honest. Something about it was eerie and it reminded him of some unpleasant memories. Of course, he wasn't expecting to be face to face with ghosts as he was trailing down the street. Some were more friendly than others, while a general few were all about trying to get him.

It was dark out and Yuri as alone. Of course the first thing he gets to side eye is a creepy ass doll looking at him. ]

Oh, you got to be kidding here. I'm going to take that as a don't touch and move on.

[ For the love of everything that is good, someone please remove it from him. It's still following him every time he walks too. ]

[ Selen ]

[ Spirits and ghosts? Pshaw, right Selen wasn't even taken back by them to be honest. The woman was more amused with the fact that it reminded her of Pheliosta and it's crawling of creepy critters left and right. Only here there were ghosts and spirits. She didn't engage in any of them until they started assaulting her of course. Though, a little hunting here and there might be a bit of fun.

Selen wasn't sure if they would disappear completely if she took them down, but it never hurts to try right? The woman was already on it somewhere near the outskirts of the city, playing around with the ghosts and spirits as if it was a game.

Come hither and join her? Or if not in the outskirts, anywhere in town, or even her home, which has been invaded with ghosts and spirits as well. She's going to be abusing that new job class as much as needed. ]

This ain't no Pumpkin Hill!

It was times like this Sonic wished Knuckles was around. Mostly to see him freak out because of all of these ghosts. For Sonic, though, this was going to be quite the adventure! With the Ghostbuster and Time Mage jobs active, Sonic was busy bouncing from one house to the next in search of the next ghost to capture. Had to be a tough one!

Stopping at one building, he knocked at the door. "Yo! Friendly neighborhood Heroes of Light here, ready to kick ghost butt!" He said. Answer or no, he threw the door open and began to investigate.

Old folks don't have the time to bother scolding people we don't like
