Who: Monkey D. Luffy
gomu_ningen, and all others interested in taking part on the first voyage in search of the Queen.
What: Luffy and his small crew are setting off to try and find more on the whereabouts of the missing Queen.
Where: A small island, uncharted, between Aquares Ixen and Aquares Tosf.
When: From the morning of the 10th until the following Tuesday on the 17th.
Why: While anchored for the evening during their first leg of the journey, something causes the ship and crew to become lost on an undiscovered island. When they awake, their memories of their time spent in Crystallis has all but vanished, their most recent recollection dating back to the events just before they arrived in this world.
How: Something strange and unnerving stirs in the air, the cause of the amnesia is unknown. However, it is obvious that something has robbed them of their precious memories, and it is still present on the island where they've landed.
Warnings: Language, violence, possible death/fatality and injury.
Much like their first voyage out aboard the Chasing Joy, the ship headed by Luffy sets off with one grand purpose: to locate and rescuse the missing Queen. It had long been Luffy's assumption that it had been by her power that the heroes had been brought to this foreign world, against their will, and it would be that same power that would send them back where they truly belonged. Obstacles aplenty had kept him from making steps along the way, but now that he had a ship and a crew, the time was right for their quest to rightly begin.
Much of the nearby world had been explored, with a few locations still alluding them (due to weather, the Empire, and the warnings of stronger monsters of which the likes of no man or woman ((or moogle)) had ever seen and lived to return and tell the tale). Upon the recommendation of Pakku and the somewhat wise counsel of a few of his nakama, the crew decided it best to explore the distance between their new home of Aquares Ixen, and the former glory of Aquares Tosf.
The weather for their departure had been a crisp, clear fall afternoon. The autumn wind was tame, giving them just the right amount of push to help them on their way. Like their first voyage, they met no trouble or discourse about the sea, two things that the ship's Captain had hoped for more of (at least to keep the trip lively and adventurous). With a full day drawing to a close, Pakku and the other deckhands made quick to drop anchor, hastily moving to having the ship settle in for the evening as the crack of dawn would have them up and ready for another day of sailing.
Midnight approaches. The soft sound of shallow ripples of water kissing the shell of the ship is accompanied by the faint echo of snoring below deck. Not so much like an accordian, or a saw cutting away at wood, the young pirate and his moogle companion bellow out their cries of slumber in unison. They snore together, as if locked in an unconscious battle where each pirate were attempting to drown the other one out. It is any wonder how the rest of the crew sleeps, but despite the trecherous sound, the resting sailors know not what finds them after the Moon reaches its highest peak in the night sky.

OOCThe next morning, the characters involved will wake to find themselves resting along the shore of a Summer isle. The scent of salt water, the feeling of white, searing sand on their face, hands and toes, and the warmth of the Sun above as they cannot recollect how it is that they came to this island, or for that matter, who the other people around them are. Their last memory will be from the exact moment just before their initial arrival in Crystallis. Any memory of other heroes, events, people, places, items in Crystallis are all forgotten as if they had never happened.
Over the next few days, their memory loss will continue to expand. People, important events, anything precious or well-kept will disappear as if slurpped up into the aether. Characters are free to explore the island as its shore-to-shore distance is all but a few miles to walk. The entire island can be explored in a day or so, but the forest within the island is a daunting environment to say the least. Thick brush, unnatural sounds, and a looming feeling that hangs over all who enter the very edge of the expansive jungle leaves one feeling even more confused and lost. Characters will eventually gain clues through exploration, but it is up to the small band of heroes to make progress as best they can, or they might not make it off the island.. They very well could leave with losing something more than just memories.
The basic progress of how memories are lost are as each day passes, something is drawn out of a hero's memory. Be it a single person, a single event, a single nostalgic feeling, players can decide what it is that they lose (and it is encouraged that you make it as interesting as you like!). If the players are not able to trace what is taking their memories from them, then the event ends with no resolution and the heroes wake up out of crystal stasis without any memory of their time on the island. Characters are free to keep lasting effects of the event, but it goes without saying that the MODs have last say on anything resulting from a player plot.
With all that said, have fun, hope you folks have a blast, and let's get to it!
