Characters: All the Heroes of Light and their Moogles.
Where: Order's Sanctuary, The Interdimensional Rift and their Homeworlds.
When: August 03rd - August 30th

Summary: Following the battle against Palitutu, all the Heroes of Light were transported into the Interdimensional Rift. They were told by Palitutu they would have to find her to prove they can break the cycle-- But before they could reach their destination, a malevolent entity from the Rift stripped them from their immortality...

And now, they woke up in a decaying and dying world, most specifically in a place called Order's Sanctuary. From there they are ready to jump... Into their homeworlds! Feel free to use this post for the Mingle at Order's Sanctuary and should your homeworld be the stage for the Heroes of Lights' next adventures, feel free to make a thread for it and as many sub-thread as necessary! Please refer to the OOC Post for questions and plotting.

ORDER'S SANCTUARY || MINGLE

[ Feel free to use this thread for mingling after the characters wake up at Order's Sanctuary. They will not be told what to do and the Moogles around won't be much help at all, except for providing food and water. It is also possible for the characters to leave the sanctuary, but it is very dangerous with the Manikins roaming free everywhere. ]

Aaaand, the first to wake up is Deadpool, groaning in annoyance.

"Okay... Next time we do this, we give the Zuul answer. We dead again?"

Lydia is...peeved, to put it mildly. Sorry Deadpool, she's not in the mood for flippant answers.

"If we were dead, I'd know where we were." Betel-Po is not quite holding her back from yelling, via hugging her. "What did you guys DO?"

Mary and Bonnie -OPEN mingle

Crouching in the middle of the open space, Mary let out a curse as she punched the ground. "Damn that witch! I would have had her if it wasn't for her trickery." She had the power of her Limit Break. She had the perfect hiding spot, but rather than expose herself Palitutu had drawn them to this other...place.

Scowling, she looked at her wrist, the hidden blade showing just past the cuff. Truly if anyone deserved to taste Assassin steel it was that tarutaru.

"Mary...where are we, kupo?" Mary was shaken from her thoughts by the familiar voice, looking up in surprise. The last person she expected to see here was her moogle.

"Bonnie? How did you get here?"

"I don't know, kupo. I was helping out the other Heroes back in town and then...I was here kupo."

"We're all here somehow." Lydia murmured, not happy either and Betel-Po has since gone from clinging behind her, to hugging her in the front. Half so he can watch her--as he hasn't seen her this mad since he wrote a response to Biggs.

"What did you guys all DO?" Lydia had been prepared, with her rapier and dagger and her satchel of random stuff, even though she stayed behind in the city. Dark clothes and the cloak, but the hood is drawn back. Her ire doesn't seem to be directed at anyone in particular, but it is a marked change from her usual demeanor.

Akane Kurashiki - OPEN Mingle

Oof!

[One minute Akane's running through the rain trying to rendezvous with her brother and the others stationed at the Crystal of Fire. The next, she's eating floor. High fiber. She winces as she rises to her feet, holding onto her bruised knees. Then her eyes widen. This is not Aqures Ixen. This is not anywhere. Her poncho whisks from side to side as she rapidly turns in place, alarmed. She sees other heroes, and she sees her Moogle too. Keys Kupo looks awfully annoyed but remains quiet.]

Wh-what? Where are we? What happened?

[Something's moving outside of this structure. Akane squints, trying to see as she steps a little closer. It looks humanoid, but not...quite? What is it?]

Lust - Open...ish? I'm sorry she's antisocial unless she knows you, but hit her up anyway!

[Lust is annoyed, and still wearing her labcoat. She hadn't been interested in Palitutu's threats, nor was she all that concerned about a second attack occuring in Aqures Ixen. She's been working feverishly on her studies of the Philosopher's Stone, because that's all that really matters to her right now.]

[And yet here she is, forced to listen to some voice prattle about the void, causing her to feel legitimate pain, and now they have to hunt the traitorous runt anyway. She has no desire to go back to Amestris. Why would she? She died there, and had no hope of being made human. She just wants to get back to the lab.]

[She stands with her arms folded, making no move to take the initiative. If she sees someone she knows, she'll approach and question them, maybe even follow them into a portal. But she's definitely not up for socializing if the cross look on her pretty face is any indication.]

[Once Sparks wakes up and gets a sense of what's going on (he's still pretty clueless as everyone else), he slinks back from the group a it. His moogle, Red, flitters behind him nervously, back and forth, occasionally giving her charge a stern look. Sparks has absolutely no idea what to do.]

... Sooooooooooooo.....

Sheena and Corrine - OTA

"It's okay, Corrine. It's okay. It'll be all right." Her words were soft against the little creature's fur as she tried to calm him down. He had been merely shaking before, now he was about a 10 on the Richter Scale.

"H-How can you say that, kupo?! I heard the lady! She's going to destroy us! Kupoooo!"

And he buried his head against Sheena's shoulder, leaving the ninja no choice but to continue stroking his head for several moments. Eventually, she pulled back and tipped the Moogle's head up to look at her.

"Corrine, listen to me. That's not going to happen, okay? I won't let anything happen to you, you got it?" That was a promise she intended to keep. "Now, let's go check on the others," she suggested softly, getting to her feet.

[Johnny still has no idea how the battle ended or what that floaty void business is all about.]

Okay, will someone please tell me what happened now?

[He's really hoping it doesn't involve hurting anyone he knows. He also will be looking for Reno right away. The last thing he remembers is Reno shielding him, then running off towards the core.]

Bartz | OTA

[Bartz is surprised and confused, but at least crazy events brought him somewhere familiar this time. Once he has a grasp on where he is, he's making a beeline in the direction of the throne. Not that there's much else in Order's sanctuary. Once there, he's calling out.]

Cosmos! Can you hear me? It's Bartz...

[He doesn't see her, but with goddesses you never know.]

Vincent Valentine | Open Mingle

Waking up slightly disoriented whenever Chaos had emerged was not a new sensation for Vincent. Finding himself in sudden darkness, hearing everyone around him ask questions, and having a small ball of fluff that he recognized by her scarf cling to him was new. Barely having had time to deal with that before they're unconscious again.

Now he's annoyed, but it'll have to wait. First things first is to confirm where they are, where everyone is, and take a headcount. Scout the location. Ophelia, normally ready for adventure, had zipped around his head in a fuss for a bit, her worry obvious. Sighing, he moved to hold her against him, as she burrowed against his gauntlet-covered left arm while he walked.

Lydia Deetz | Open Mngle

Lydia was not impressed, and still annoyed. She and some of the other Heroes who hadn't gone to the plains had been gathered at the Crystal of Fire, while Ellana watched the battle from the observatory. Relaying Lydia messages at least, so she had a vague idea of how things were going.

Then they'd been sucked into that dark-place; it reminded Lydia too much of the feeling of loss and nothingness and despair she'd felt in the bad-future vision. The loss-of-control feeling, like nothing mattered, that had lead her down the path to nihilism. ESPECIALLY as the mysterious voice had continued on.

Waking up now, in this strange place, was not doing anything to improve her mood. Betel-Po has gone from clinging behind her, to hugging her in the front. Well, he's making her 'hug' him, by pretending to still be scared. Mostly he doesn't want her doing something stupid.

Her general good mood might return in a bit, but it isn't happening easily.

[ Mikleo was standing in the middle of the plain with Muse holding onto his parfait that was half made in her small paws and Mikleo staring at the scenario wondering what the heck just happened. It didn't take long for him to dig into his bag and grabbing the book of compiled notes and sketches he started to gather information on the Order's Sanctuary.

The name was left blank as he quietly focused on writing down notes and appearances along with a sketch of what the area looked like. He didn't seem to be paying attention what was around him for too much but his guard was up and he was prepared to defend himself if necessary. However, he's completely distracted so calling his name might not work.

Eventually he moved a bit too close to someone and they bump momentarily and Mikleo accidentally knocks his book out of his hand along with almost tipping backwards into the person behind him. He stopped himself though and managed to apologize as he catches the pen and his sketch book. ]

My apologies, I seem to have been a bit distracted.

[ He replied giving the other persona genuine apology. ]

I hope you are not hurt?

[He's still soaked. After getting up on his hooves and looking around the ground, that's the first that occurs to him. Standing somewhere dry after having stood in the rain with Lydia and Ed leaves Dylas both confused and, for the first time in a long while, feeling completely chilled.

Before he can even process all of this, a subconscious desire to shake off the rain hits him. And being mostly fur and hair, that means shaking himself off like a wet animal.

Sorry, everyone standing next to him. All he can wonder is if he died again, but...there sure are a lot of dead people here if that's the case.]

Something went wrong, didn't it.

[He has no other thoughts except the obvious.]

[Being thrown somewhere else new is not doing a lot for K'pandolu's state of mind, but on the bright side she can see the others this time. There was something weird about that voice, too, but K'pandolu puts it aside in favour of picking herself up and looking around for the other Heroes, Sika fluttering by her shoulder.]

Are you all right?

Santa/ Aoi Kurashiki

[Santa's stalking around the Sanctuary, looking pissed. Which is not usual for him. He's assuming they're here because somebody at the battle screwed up, big time. So as soon as he sees someone who he thinks was at the battle, he waves them down.]

Ellana Lavellan - Open

[Whatever happened, they were all stuck on this path together. For good or ill, as the others who seemed to be rather... displeased with their current lots. It was almost funny, how similar it was to home.

Well, she is no bard, but perhaps this would help. At least to calm the panic in the Moogle companions like Falon who hasn't stopped clinging to her arm and whimpering.]

Shadows fall, and hope has fled

Cloud Mingle

[Among the noise of the moogles and Heroes talking, a unique voice rises from the din.]

Kweehhhhh~

[Zack isn't panicking, but he's clearly just as put off by this situation as anyone else. Cloud pats his chocobo's neck, trying to calm it and himself as they take stock of their current situation.]

Don't worry Zack, we'll figure this out. We've gotten through worse here...mostly.

Squall Leonhart & Blizzara | OPEN

[The next thing Squall knew he was waking up in Order’s Sanctuary with everyone else. Confused and with a pounding headache, he stands.

He was getting real tired of getting thrown around and waking up in strange places with headaches.

Annoyed and angry, he looks around.

Blizzara peaks out from the collar of his jacket and scrambles up to sit on his shoulder. She looks concerned and worried, tapping Squall’s cheek periodically and whispering to him.]

It’ll be fine. Let’s see if we can find someone we know.

Yuri Lowell | OTA

[ This is quite awkward. Yuri's kind of standing there with his his sword drawn out awkwardly in a striking position before he moves it back and steps back a few steps from the person in front of him. Clearly, he wasn't prepared for what was going on. He was minding his own business training somewhere and apparently that didn't happen. Now he's stranded here.

He stared with his brows raised a little bit wondering why this happened but he obviously wasn't surprised that Crystallis did this to him. He lets out a sight before speaking mostly to himself. ]

You would think they'd give us a warning by now but I suppose not.

[ Anyone caught in his sight or almost attacked by his sword, he's sort of apologetic. Repede walks up to him with a brief bark. ]

Yo, Repede. I guess we're going to be playing the guessing game on where we ended up. Acrisius you know what's going on at all?

Sephiroth - Open

It was quite a bit later that Sephiroth was stood somewhat before one of those portals that had opened. Somewhat in that there was a fair distance between it and him. With his fairly limited experience of such things, it was only a guess how far away 'safe' really was.

Having taken his time first to recover the dip in his energy levels after the battle and subsequent trip through the void, still battle worn and damp from the persistent rain, Sephiroth had left Spencer to console other -understandably terrified- moogles while he'd taken it upon himself to perform something of a patrol. He'd seen those manikins, not so far out of the edge of the Sanctuary; better not to risk it given the drastic change to the state of play.

....there was someone else, notably missing, as well.

"So, these are the way out of here, as we're to believe it-?"

Muttered to himself but certainly not quiet enough to not be heard should there be anyone else nearby to hear him muse.

yuna | open

( as soon as the world had come into focus, yuna's heart pounded in her chest. sanctuary? how did she— was she having a dream? ultimate weapon... crystallis...

head in her hands, the summoner rose, head feeling foggy as she tried to shake it clear, looking around to find... nothing. she saw no one at first, just the quiet crystals that shone as she walked through them.

without even realizing, that walk broke into a jog, and then, a run. vaan, kain, light... maybe they were all—! fingers rose to her lips as she stopped abruptly, puffing a loud whistle... )

Kyoko Sakura - Open

Tch...damn.

[In a shimmer of red, Kyoko's transformation fades until she's left in a sweater and shorts. After tucking a hand into a pocket, a pocky stick soon finds its way into the corner of her mouth.]

I didn't bring nearly enough snacks for this.

Minfilia and Tataru-Open

"...ow."

That was the only thing Minfilia had to say as Tataru the moogle flew around the crystal knight in a panic, chattering away about how dangerous it was for her to suddenly get out of the hospital from stasis and jump into battle after a month. But it just came in high pitched squeaks and sniffling because she truly was worried about her Hero and friend. The woman frowned and squeezed the little moogle tight.

"I am sorry my friend. I just wanted to be some help to everyone." she spoke quietly just as she fell flat on her back, still holding Tataru in her arms.
